You will notice, even this song RM mentions 2Pac. He always listened to Nas, 2Pac, Em, Drake, Big, Jay-z, and so on. He lets it be known. He doesn't hide it. He has so much respect for them and their music. Even in interviews in Hollywood, and they ask them what they listen to, and the first thing they say as an example is Taylor Swift(the interviewer), and the looks on their faces at the time, kills me. And they proceed to say, no and name out singers like Usher, Drake, Childish Gambino, J.cole, and so on, and so on. They came to understand the culture with American Hustle Life that has been filmed and was mentored by Waren G and Coolio. They did not want to be apart of a "trend" with the culture. They did not wish to be blissfully ignorant and step on toes unknowingly. They are highly respected and it shows. Even now with that is going on, they've donated, and even before then, they have been activists for the youth. As you dig deeper and do research, you will see everything. They have spoken in front of the UN. Their name means Bulletproof and is the reason we are called the Army. Anyway, I won't write you an entire book right now, lol. But everything will unfold if you continue with BTS.

Who makes the beat? It depends on the song, sometimes they use beats made by a foreign producer, sometimes they may use an older pre-existent beat (like most mainstream artists often do nowadays/although that's also a costume in hiphop mistapes), sometimes the members make them (J Hope and Suga seem to find easier/more natural to come up with original beats). Same thing with the melodies/composition. So, yeah, credits vary in each song.
Most of their songs are co-produced by the BTS members and their in house producers, while the majorty of lyrics are written by the rap line members as main songwritters. The amount of collaborators vary from 2 people to 10 people, usually title tracks are the most catchy and have a higher amount of producers. B-side tarcks usually have from 5 to 2 people credited. Basically, they have a collaborative writing process in which they submit melodies, lyrics and work in songs through a prolonged amount of time, by revisiting and re-editing them until they are satisfied with the result. The first step is to pick a beat and a message/topic/emotion, to use as a frame for each song, in consideration with a blue print of the album concept or storyline that they have chosen.
Mixtapes/solo projects are at least 80% written and produced by the member who releases it, they have more creative freedom on solo projects, which makes sense.

Change is one of my favorite songs period and with everything that has been going on lately I’ve been listening to it even more. Another good RM song that’s kind of underrated is P.D.D (Please Don’t Die) that he worked on with Warren G. It’s under his old name Rap Monster. There is also “Joke” and “Do You” under Rap Monster. He has a playlist called “Mono” that y’all should forreal check out. “Moonchild” is my favorite from that one

Man the whole mono album is honestly therapeutic
all the members have solo songs, and they're all amazing and different from each other's its really nice to see their different personalities throughout the group and then when they're together they're just the perfect team
This song didn't get the amount of attention it deserved when it was released, they were still coming up in the world then, it is particularly relevant today i believe and i'm so happy it's getting a lot of attention now. this was one of the songs that cemented me as a fan, as ARMY

As a person who studies Linguistics, I've had this discussion before. He may have learned English by watching Friends, but that was the structural aspect primarily. But he listened to a lot of rap music and obtained that cadence. The mixture of that is how he speaks as well. Pretty simple actually.

RM is a thinker. His songs linger. You might dismiss them in thirst listen, but with time it just clings to you. More you listen to it more you able to understand his thinking process and eventually you understand what that song stands for. What he is trying to say to you with it. His original music is getting only better and better with time. He creates a lot of different music. Just listen to BTS discography and you will find his name everywhere and BTS musical diversity is huge. Yes he is rapper. One with great skills, but at this moment in life he so much more then just that.
His "Mono" album. Or playlist how he calls it is a mood. And for me best music project that came out of 2018.

BTS has a lot of respect for the community & even came to America in their debut days to learn about the black community & its cultures. Korea is a homogeneous country so they was like most very ignorant about our community & went to educate themselves. The country is getting better but it still has a long way to go. BTS even donate 1Mil to #BlackLivesMatter movement & the fanbase(ARMY) matched that Mil in less than 24 hrs. We were donating b4 but the charity real became bigger after they donated. So all together its 2 Mil donated☺& they always donate privately but only through 3rd party leaks we find out they donated & r donating to other black lives mayter platforms. ARMY has always been doing donations as well since 2015 to organization & take part in environmental work like planting trees, donating animals that need homes or to help save endangered species, and many more things like feed the poor etc

This would the perfect time for a re-release of this very significant song. It was previously released in the UK (I believe) which is probably why I missed out. But damn, you couldn't have a better battle hymn for these turbulent times and for those who may feel like giving up.

There are many videos that have the actual english cc... It doesn't take long to fined. But RM is actually rapping in english here. Btw WALE traveled to Korea to make this with RM. He wanted to collaborate with him after he met him in LA in (2016?). RM couldn't think of what they had enough in common to rap about and he thought both our countries have problems and they need to change and so that's what the song is about... change. It's a great song for the present situation.
