New tie-dye technique invented by us (First attempt we got beautiful results)

We discovered another tie-dye method using clothes pegs. This was the first time trying it. We got really amazing results. Enjoy the video.
Materials used
3 meters yellow fabric
Clothes pegs
Textile dye (purple)
Caustic soda
Hydros
Hot water

Is it warm or hot water you guys put on it first before the dye?

We use cold water to wet the fabric
Hot water is used during dying mixing it with the chemicals and dyes
