Yes. I also sometimes fly to my house and drop stuff in my backyard for fun. Check out my new video coming up where I fly up and down the Oregon Coast for 14km and I drop a tiny nerf football on a group of dogs. I didn't know them or their owners, but I'm sure they didn't mind...

I use the GoPro Hero. Check the description for my complete setup info. I have not tried the GoPro 3. I bought my camera for $200 over a year ago brand new. Great deal, if you ask me! Works perfect!
I'll be sure to check that video out. BTW, do you take requests as to potential flying locations? I love to see some aerial shots of that Hwy 20 boondoggle. Plus an area here in Corvallis.

Thanks! I am perfecting everything on the white skywalker. My black one is still new in the box. When I start putting the black beast together, she will be perfect! Yes Barbie is still hanging there after, what, about 6 months?
I chose the length based on where my Dragon Link receiver would be, and the distanced to my planned Dragon link antenna. The distance between these two points, plus about 2 inches gave me my minimum length.
I ordered the 24 inch one. Works great!

I will put my entire setup list in the description. There, it's up now. I highly recommend the motor and esc and prop combo; it's a good fit for the plane. As for max current draw, I am not sure. I rarely run full throttle except sometimes on takeoff. Sometimes...

Not sure where to get the Skywalker if bevrc is out... I have a friend building the Penguin, I can't wait to fly FPV with him. I would definitely go with the Sky Hunter. That baby looks awesome! That's the twin boom FPV plane, right?

Hi, I want to ask you a question, how did you choose the size of the dragonlink antenna I am about to buy one but do not know how to choose.
It's that project near Eddyville that's 2 years past projected completion and a gazzillion bucks over budget. I tried to send a link here, but it won't let me. Just Google Hwy 20 Eddyville and there will be articles on it. That would be an interesting video.

The night before, I installed a new landing gear mount further forward, to keep my skywalker from flipping over onto it's back on landing.
I had originally made the mistake of mounting the gear right at the wing's leading edge, like a full-sized plane. A skywalker is smaller scale, though, and landing in grass is like a full-sized plane landing in bushes; it will flip.
So my new gear mount wasn't glued in properly and the whole thing came out on the prior landing, hence today's hand-launch...

Hey, the questing is kind of worthy "At least to me" How old is that plane with you? I have my X-8 for the last 5 years.. and it have seen many deaths and resurrections.. I still have it "I even have a brand new in the box.. because a really catastrophic crash! but it was easier and simpler to just repair the old and wrinkly one!
+Migueldeservantes --- I flew the Skywalker for 3 years. She is now retired. Contrary to many of the gloom and doom predictions I endured over the years that I would someday ram her into an airliner and bring down a full load of school children onto a full busload of handicapped people. So yes, she sits safe and sound, earthbound, while I fly the real ones now.

"Yeah I'm an addict to flying wings" but I do FPV, and don't even have the means to fly a real plane.. and I love and give a tender care to my old full of scars ugly dirty planes and bring them back to life after a rough day or hard landings.. Well at this point I still do it, but now I no longer publish my videos that can be use against the FPV community.. I only show when I'm doing tests of new features. or new planes..Thank you for the clarification it is really appreciated.

Absolutely! The main thing is the airplane should have some kind of landing gear for best results!

Zerik Lee No I don't! I am still searching for a good set of landing gear for my new black Skywalker, and they all seem too heavy. The landing gear on my white Skywalker came from a wrecked plane, can't even remember which one!

Yep Black Ops Barbie is still in the tree. I just checked on her two days ago. My niece, who "loaned" me her Barbie for the experiment, doesn't even care. Thinks it's funny.
