I used the African Pride Aloe & coconut water curl defining gel that was sent to me by one of my amazing subscribers. TwinGemz (Tracie) came through with a great box of hair care goodies for me. 🥰 I deeply appreciate her and her gift to me. 🤗
The gel does not have a genetic coconut scent. It smells more like coconut water to me. It Isn't heavy or sticky and blow-dries well without tacky residue. The gel can be found at Walmart and online.
I am working towards getting my own PO box while I regain my independence for 2022! I’m definitely going to keep y’all posted when I get it.

My grandmother would always burn our hair on the stove. She didn't play that mess about hair either. We are from Alabama and I am very familiar with what you were saying regarding hair energy.
My mom used to tell me this about leaving hair when I was a little girl! I still get rid of my hair the best way possible without even thinking about it lol! The bird’s nest thing always comes to mind for me!

Our hair similar I noticed I retain wayyyyy more length when I finger detangle my hair 😩🧐 but back in the day using a brush doesn’t help my hair at all!!!! FINGER DETANGLING is the way to go 😮💨 if you got the time /patience to do it
