Great review, thank you for always being so thorough and thoughtful! I was going to try them because they’re so cheap and your hair looks beautiful, but gels that reactivate do not work for my daily HIIT workouts lol. Also, your husband did a great job on your hair! He has skills!
I love that you did all three. I have the original one and the black castor one. I have yet to find the olive oil tea tree one. My hair has taking a liking to the original one so far. I agree that this gel is a soft hold I bought them the layer under some of my stronger hold gels. The original one with Jell-O shot gel! Literal perfection.

I just bought Alikay Lemongrass gel because ppl said it has a strong hold, I repurchased some Obia Custard, and I have some of the old and new formulas of Wetline left over, so I’m good on gel for a while lol.
I hope it’s still available! It’s from the elf x JEN ATKIN collab. The color is ‘Red-y to Go’. I’m not crazy about the formula but it’s good for short wear.
Why should gel ever have to have a darn color? What if it rains? Does it stain? I wonder. Never used brown gel myself, ever. That is one I'll skip out on. Eco Styler is as far as I'll go "color wise", yellow gel, greenish tint, meh, it's not gonna stain, but something this dark... might?

Great review as always! I used the regular one but I had to use it with wetline and absolutely had to completely dry before going out. It was decent.

What is the reason why a lot of companies use green coconut? Is it cheaper or more accessible?
I have absolutely no idea. My guess is that the green coconut has more water and coconut water is “trendy” but that’s just a guess.
