Thank you for this helpful information. I noticed on the KIPYENB Mount that the only time they show it mounted from the front is in the video (on Amazon), so apparently, you can have it mounted either way.
I've gone all in on accessories. I have a DJI Osmo case, Polar Pro filters (on the way), DJI filters (including the Mist), 3rd party Variable ND filters, Three tripods that use the quick connect system, the DJI extender cage (kinda meh), led lights, phone holder for the tripod, suction cups mounts (three different ones), a magnetic mount... some Samsung Pro Ultimate Micro SD cards... An SD card holder with a reader built in, screen protector... I think that's it. Hmm... That's a lot of crap!!! I almost ordered the Scotty Makes Stuff cases but they are kinda big and not much easier to carry than my Osmo case. I need to stay away from Amazon!!!
i have been rocking the Samsung Pro 512, got it for 27 near a month before BF, one of those pre BF tricks that flew under the radar. surprisingly, not as much record time as i was expecting (coming from other cameras with more options). be careful with car/bike mounts, the gimbal can get damaged from vibration, theres a warning in the manual. i made this video to have the points laid out and have the metal mounts in my cart 😂
@@CharlieVN BTW I wonder of the stupid LRF files are part of the problem with your lack of record time? Of course, we have to remember the bit rate and 10 bit color... Not to mention, I'm always recording at 4k60...
I have a mobile holder in the car and i haven't seen any adapter for pocket that would fit that. Also looking for a body strap that i can wear while cycling
that ball that the mobile holder attaches to is generally universal fit. With the expansion adapter, any gopro mount will do. As for cycling, I would go with a simple gopro, even an older one. I do a lot of cycling videos on my other channel and chest mount and chin mount work well. I like the look of chest mount, dont like wearing the mount. Chin mount is super convenient as it goes onto my dirt bike helmet with wires neatly tucked so I can speak into the mic. I should receive one of the mounts in a few days and I may do a review if I get a chance.
I did spot this because it had the gimbal cover: www.ebay.com/itm/314958917062 however, haven't got to try any and not sure about the route I'm headed yet. Currently, I'm going bare, no storage, no protection at all, all too fiddly for my taste. I'll do an updated video on how I carry my set, and no, it's not a big bulky pelican style case.
The Osmo Pocket 3's design is a pain in the ass, it essentially ends up always being in a configuration that satisfies nobody because of the USB-C Position. You need to use the little extension block to add the 1/4″ Thread and move the USB-C to a place where it makes sense, The also the block is kinda wiggly and not actually very secure. They just needed a Better USC-C Position.
Please change the thumbnail of this video to something original...? I found this video really helpful, but the algorithm keeps pushing it down and it becomes really hard to search for it again. I've now added it to my playlist; but not having your face in the thumbnail made it really hard to identify the video again. This is like my 8th time revisiting this video.
Ahem... The kit comes with the adapter and a Tripod to do EXACTLY what he wants. HE doesn't want to have to carry the tripod. Fair enough, but there's no "evil intent" on the part of the manufacturer. In fact, almost EVERY item he's talking about here is NOT sold by DJI. As far as DJI is concerned, you have everything you need to run around and film stuff. Plus the tapered bottom makes it more comfortable in the hand. It's not DESIGNED to be set down on a table without the tripod. Besides, you talk as if you believe that companies have just started operating with profit as their goal... Don't get me started on Edison, Bell, General Electric, GM, the railroads, Macy's, Dole/ Chiquita bananas, the Tobacco Industry, East Indies Trading company, the SLAVE TRADE, etc, etc, etc...

A nice overview on some of the kits thats available at the moment. Thanks👍
Glad it was helpful!
The original Osmo products had a base piece. It was and is a good idea.
What do you mean? I'm new & trying to learn but didn't understand if you meant the original design was better than the pocket 3 we got
@ElevatedVehicles No the older Osmo products offered a table stand that the unit snapped into.

Thanks for the video. Have you found a good neoprene case?

@@CharlieVN thankyou. Looking forward to that video
You will get better pictures if you put more light on in your studio.

Agree, just no way around it

Of course they tapered the bottom. Companies will do anything to have you buy more of their products. Such a shame the time we live in.
