- How to Clip a Schnauzers Face and Eyebrows Short | This Pet Schnauzers face is kept short for easy maintenance. I use a #1 comb attachment for the face. The eyebrows are trimmed short while maintaining the typical shape. A 7F blade is used on top of the head and on the outside of the ears. A #30 blade is used inside the ears.

For some reason this video was so soothing for me.. I definitely loved how you took your time. We have a mini schnauzer and he’s been to the groomers a few times but seemed like every other visit was what they wanted and not what we wanted . We have been grooming our pup ourselves. I’m glad I ran across your video because it feel like now I really have a understanding of how to properly groom. Also, in the beginning I never knew why some trim first and some bathe first…. Now I know. .. thank you
The short look is cute for a pet. Gives them a little bit of a puppy look. Plus they don't need all that beard.

Thanks so much for this! I retired a year ago and could not afford my three schnauzers to be groomed every couple of months. So I invested in some good clippers and learned how to do myself. I keep them very short as we are on 5 acres and they get stickers if they get long. But was definitely needing some for their faces!
About to get a pet Schnauzer and your videos are extremely helpful as I am planning to learn the grooming myself. Have some past experiences trimming horses, so....fingers crossed. AMAZING - my dog is as placid as yours. This is exactly how my dog has his hair but because of the lockdown in London his hair is so long. I'm going to attempt to do this but confidence is everything..... and I don't think as a first time dog hairdresser I will do it quite so beautifully.

We lost our Schnauzer February 2016, watching this video brings all the memories back and see that how I used to trim him was pretty much the same as you do here. A beautiful well behaved girl she is 👏 looking to see if you do a video on trimming pads on paws and claws which my Schnauzer hated me doing

Informative and to the point.. no unnecessary chatter. Thank you. But I have tried at least 6 clippers and won't cut mine's thick hair, so I use scissors (I can't afford $2-300 clippers). The techniques will help though. Ive been grooming him with scissors for years, but just thought I would see some prof techniques. Thank you.
There are some inexpensive clippers that will work fine check out the Andis AGC professional Animal clipper. You'll find some awsome deals on Ebay.
