Mr Baker, cafe central, Geeta Bakery,Perfect bakery , 31janer are all part of our psyche . As kids our B'day cakes used to come from 31st janer . My grandmother made cakes and it was send to Geeta Bakery for baking . The owners being our neighbour would allow her to bake it in their bakery . The evening snacks and bread used to come from cafe central . For Xmas goodies it was always Mr Baker and a visit to market would never be complete without entering Perfect Bakery . One thing about these bakeries is that they have maintained their taste over the years . Each one is special and deserve a 5star rating .

This is very unique video. I love those bakeries. I went to try them after watching your video but sadly that was Sunday and all bakeries were closed. Next day I was able to try only Geeta bakery but that was awesome. Taste of cookies and muffins were very good. Thanks.

I m from panjim mala
Mr Baker 1922 was not established in Panjim in 1922. 1922 was the year the founder Pedro Vicent Vaz established his first bakery in Mapuca. Cafe Central used to actually be a real cafe at it's old location at the corner of the old Jesuit House, and was well known not only for it's bakery products but also for a cuppa! They relocated and reduced the business when the Jesuit Complex was being rebuilt. Far as I know, Confeitaria 31 de Janeiro is the oldest bakery in Panjim, operating from it's original oven and location.
You're right Bhava, Confeitaria 31 De Janeiro is the oldest bakery in Panjim.. My Grandfather would always get stuff from them whenever he went to the Military Canteen in Panjim.

U should have focused more on how old the bakery was a small interview with the owners and how their journey was all through these years which would have added more depth to your video U should have made them tell u what are the famous things and what gets sold very quickly in their bakeries
I actually wanted to do that! But it was rush hour for them! And not everyone is comfortable to come in front of the camera, I did have conversation with them privately.. Thankyou for watching the video😍✨🙏
