I am sad to post this. From Cary's Family: It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Cary Allan Nosler. He died suddenly but peacefully on a Sunday afternoon, December 17th, in Thailand. He was staying with his son Gavin and his family on the island of Koh Chang.
Cary led an extraordinary life, positively influencing countless numbers of people through education and entertainment. He was a devoted father and a loving grandfather. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.
He is survived by his three sons, Reese, Gavin, and Aaron, his former wife and dear friend Laura, his daughter-in-law Jutamas, and his three grandchildren, Taylor, Lily, and Noah. facebook.com/cary.nosler/posts/pfbid02myD9vqHdmZHQAZfLYJxkyJaSj8hWtym5UdRT1aVTggkBCioJh7pQR6YG8XMcJpoFl

I was living in the lake Tahoe area in 1974, and Carey / "Captain Carrot" inspired me to buy a Champion juicer and learn about juice fasting. I tried it and had spectacular results. Since then I became a naturopathic doctor and Doctor of Oriental Medicine. I am semi retired now, but have practiced for 45 years now, and still supervise patients in juice fasting. Most of what you hear these days is water fasting, but juice fasting is far safer and equally if not more effective. Because so many lipophylic toxins are released from fat within just a few days when fasting, having antioxidants while fasting is critical. Autophagy still occurs, but way more safely....just dilute the juice 50/50 to avoid sugar hit.

So sorry for your loss. Your father / grandfather was a truly inspirational person, and knew about and taught the truth about a plant based diet high in vegetables and fruits way before anyone else - at least to my knowledge. Thanks for calling my attention to your post, as I had not seen it until today and was unaware of his passing. With great sympathy and respect, Dr. Win Smith, D.O.M.
