Oh wow! What a coincidence. We have just arrived home from beautiful Puerto Pollensa, staying in the wonderful Miramar Hotel. Switched onto TH-cam and straight away saw your vid! We were just saying what we were doing this time last week (at the Caves of Drach) but lovely to see all our haunts of last week. Thank you.
We love the Pine Walk, it is an absolute delight. Some years ago we were walking into the Boquer Valley & saw a couple of hoopoes, they are lovely birds. Thanks for showing us port, shade was in short supply.
Puerto Pollensa, where do I start. First visited in 1958, so you can imagine how small it was. The Miramar Hotel was there and a few small hotels and bars. Wealthy people from Palma had villas along the Pine Walk. Over the years we have visited PP many times and I suppose it didn't change much until Spain entered the EU when lots of money was given help Spain with inter. structure. The promenade was built in PP which joined the Pine Walk. I am glad you went there but also very disappointed. I know things have to move on but I would rather remember PP a few years ago. I know I am a dinosaur. Margaret from Longwick
Crikey, a blast from the past!! For a number of years from the mid 80's we had the use of an Apartment (Las Terrazas) opposite the block where Geoff & Jean lived. I can't claim to know him but knew who he was & certainly remember "The Codfather" in the Port. Geoff would certainly have known Bill Giveren, whom I got to know and whose Daughter's Wedding I came over to sing for. Small world!!

Totally agree with you about that Mallorca Bulletin, it’s getting worse, it’s turning into the Mallorcan rag. Thanks Steve and Anita.
The MDB used to promote the island, now they seem to run it down.
Can i ask please, how long is the drive from genova to porto pollensa ?
I guess it is about an hour, depending on the traffic.
Anyone seen lenny of the port? The man with a plan with a van.
Sorry, can't help you
