    great video brother! I'll be up there in June, will my truck have to be a 4wheel drive to drive the 550 from Durango to the 145? that looked like an awesome scenic ride. thanks.

      I would say it depends on the road conditions. I don't think it's technically classified as a 4x4 route. I don't remember seeing signs on that segment that said that. The road is scheduled to open May 1, but that's weather dependent. It goes up in behind and above a ski resort so you know its an area with significant snow. Keep in mind you do have to cross Hermosa Creek (flow varies). I know I saw Subarus up there, but of course those are AWD or whatever. I hate to suggest yes you'd totally be fine then you get in a bind. - Scotch Creek is a different story. Don't attempt that with a 2wd.
