"the only person I'd run through an airport for is you " that was the sweetest thing Claire has ever said to Fleabag . That and the pencil haircut were my favorite moments of season 2 .
In a show full of great characters played by great actors, she somehow steals every scene she’s in by playing the “straightman” archetype, which is usually rather thankless. She’s a phenomenal actor!
Honestly, could never understand the need to put others down to praise someone. It's a win for the show to have different groups of audiences appreciating multiple aspects of it.
For real! I started the show because I was curious about hot priest; I finished it because I was so invested in Fleabag and Claire’s relationship Ok, that was a lie: I started the show because of the pencil haircut scene
Clair was such a wonderful character, he was totally on board with Claire as a business partner and loved those awful awkward flap outs. He's totally worth ditching a wedding for.
Hopefully Claire ends up with Klare in an epilogue, he was perfect for her. Just so respectful and loved every aspect of her and brought out the best in her.
As an American who had an extended stay in London for a summer, Claire most closely represents England to me. Repressed, whip smart, stylish, and totally bananas.
As an older sister and very much fitting the stereotype (responsible, mature, perfectionistic and slightly highly strung) I relate so very well to Claire 😂
@@hearttune98 hmmm!! On Sian Clifford’s (the actor who plays Claire) Wikipedia page it mentions she is the older sister of Fleabag… it’s never specified in the show and I don’t know if that one comment in the cemetery is enough to definitively say either. Interesting! In my mind Claire is definitely the older sibling!!
Hands-down, one of the best shows ever❣️ I wanted to cry I wanted it ended‼️😢 Phoebe is one of the best actresses and comedians ever seen in my 63 years of life and the rest of the cast unbelievable hands-down 100 stars
Oh my gosh, "Okay, are you right, what happened are you hurt?" "Can I come in?" "why didn´t you text" "come by to say hi" and then "tell me truth." This hit me so hart....I almost cried....
I don't have a sister with this dynamic but I do have a close friend where we're just like this. Lots of friction sometimes but we can always rely on each other for tough love and hard truths. Bittersweet bond that let's us vent some darkness so that the rest of our lives are much brighter. It just works somehow.
The only part I don't like about these scenes is that it's only Claire and Fleabag who actually raised their hands in that auditorium. Surely some more people would have the same thing in mind.
Also feels like five years really isn't that extreme of an ask. Twenty, I could understand the hesitation, but five?? A sprained ankle could take that much off once you're old enough
Do you seriously think someone who spends their time to attend a feminist meeting would raise their hands at questions like that??? Not to mention it's not the most appropriate place to express yourself
@clonnlijinhlong2713 Yep. I'm absolutely a feminist but have spent my entire life not living up to societies beauty standard because I'm plus size. Does that suck? Absolutely. Does it mean I wouldn't cave if someone offered me the perfect body for 5 years off my life? Nope. God I'd LOVE to see what it's like to not be constantly judged because of my size.
If you want another test, look up PWB and Sian interviewed together, just delightful chemistry. IIRC, they went through acting classes together, so they really have been through it together.
Luv,Luv, this show and the actors are the most hysterical and best at their job. I miss Michelle more than ever ❣️😢please, make a few more like my other favorite show “ LUTHER”! he made a few shows after it’s supposedly ended and it was what four or five seasons of 10 years. I was the best as far as drama serious detective whatever you wanna call it the two best shows ever put on TV.💯❤️❣️
Only if you don't workout or do any physical activities that use those muscles regularly. Working out would of course strengthen and tighten it up causes it to be more lifted and round.
I love Claire but HATE the way she tells her sister what she is going to do and immediately does the exact opposite. Leaving her husband, giving Fleabag money, moving for the new job, going to the hospital.
Too real. It’s just too real. Sisters, man. You can say the most heinous, cutting, cruel things to each other. Sisters know your deepest, most painful wounds. If anyone else ever said such things you would rightfully never speak to them again. But 10 mins later, you turn to your sister and say “I’m thinking Thai food for dinner. Want some?” And it’s all over like nothing happened
In season 1 Fleabag: You have to trust me!" Clair: Why? Fleabag: Because im your sister Clair: How can I? After what you did to Boo!? My heart shattered to pieces but I truly applaud Sian's acting Because she really regretted that and it was visible throughout
Yeah good spot, different, but still close enough to be siblings. Claire is highly qualified, her accent may reflect the high society she strives to live in. Pheobe waller Bridge comes from an extremely privileged background. Boo is one of the few charicters in the show who speaks normally, perhaps to highlight the otherwise posh cast of charicters.

I think Claire is one of the most well-written characters in TV history. Sian eats it up. She's the best thing in the show.
Truth!
agree!
In a show full of great characters played by great actors, she somehow steals every scene she’s in by playing the “straightman” archetype, which is usually rather thankless. She’s a phenomenal actor!
Honestly, could never see what all the fuss is about with the priest. This will always be Fleabag’s best relationship
Exactly, it was amazing watching the relationship between these two grow,
Honestly, could never understand the need to put others down to praise someone.

Agreed! (It’s spelled Klare)
And the whole Claire choosing klare aka choosing herself was brilliant writing I think
Yessssss honestly it was a relationship I was rooting for, probably gonna write fanfics about these two!
Hopefully Claire ends up with Klare in an epilogue, he was perfect for her. Just so respectful and loved every aspect of her and brought out the best in her.

I love Claire. Amazingly written and played.
The way she cringes at touching the sister she really loves is such a real moment.
I loved these two. Out of Fleabug was this beautiful hilarious sisterly bond.
As an American who had an extended stay in London for a summer, Claire most closely represents England to me. Repressed, whip smart, stylish, and totally bananas.
I love that the feminist lecturer is played by Phoebe's mother! (it's her only acting credit listed on IMDb)
Whaat ? Now that's a surprise
Iconic
One of the best written series ever!!!

The irony is that she’s the younger one 😂 as in the cemetery scene when Fleabag says “yes you can little one”
