    Fleabag is probably the most accurate portrayal of sisters I've ever seen

      Absolutely. They always write stories with sisters competing with each other jealous of each other. I have two sisters and we never, ever were like that. I do no get it. We are close in age and we love each other's company. We stand up for each other and we would never compete, we want each other to be ultra happy. It is people outside our family who project on us that we are in competition. Ridiculous.

    Nothing in this world will change my mind that Claire is definitely the elder sister

      Holy shit I never realized that they never mentioned who's the eldest and who's the youngest but 100% agree with you. Claire is the elder sister.

      As a younger sister, Claire is 100% my sister lol, down the skincare products point (she actually uses 12 stuff and I use either one or nothing.

    Fleabag has the most realistic sibling relationship I've ever seen in television. They also look very similar which makes it so realistic.

    I love their relationships so much. their family seems dysfunctional but they've got each other. and they are not sugary sweet all the time but the emotional bond is definitely there. thanks for the clip btw

    this is so heartwarming and at the same time painful to watch for me as someone who has a half-sister, but never got to really bond with her because of the huge age gap and family drama.
    we only started talking now, when I’m in my 20s and she’s in her late 30s.
    I really wish she was there when I was growing up.
    I know she does too, but what can you do.
    I always longed for this bond, for the feeling of sisterhood. I have a friendships that somewhat resemble it but it’s not the same.
    I know having a sister often means constant bickering and some rivalry, but it’s also can be such a wonderful, beautiful thing.
    you’re not alone in this world.
    there’s always someone who’d run through airport for you.
    I wish I had that.

    • @aliplay5
      @aliplay5 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      wow it's crazy, I could have written every word of this. But I am the older one and she is still a child. I hope some day we will be able to connect and I hope she won't hold a grudge against me.

    • @kemmustwhat
      @kemmustwhat 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@aliplay5 well, from my experience, yeah, it really stings when you’re a kid
      I always thought my sis just hates mom and me (not true, now she calls my mom ‘our mom’ even tho she was 18 when my parents got married)
      but when in time you figure out all the family dynamics and how messed up some of your family members are (well, in my case) it all clicks, and there’s no hard feelings after
      so I’m sure when she gets older she’ll understand
      hope you two get a chance to reconnect in the future!

      @Rosa_moon_J 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      this is exactly the same for me! i’m in my mid 20s, her in her late 30s.she grew up on the other side of the world as well. we have such a special relationship now, but i wish we could have had that when we were young too.

    • @aliplay5
      @aliplay5 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Rosa_moon_J I am also on the other side of the world from my sister! The age gap, distance, and messed up family are really not conducive to a sisterly relationship. When she's in her 20's I'll be in my late 30s too. It gives me hope hearing you were able to build that relationship, so thank you for sharing!
