      I had a couple rounds where I didn't predict properly and had emergency funds used. I don't remember which rounds they were, though. If you have screen shots, perhaps I could make a video...see if I still "got it" ;)

      @@TH-camPreneur Thank you I will check to see if I can find. I actually just finished round 4 of the individual rounds and did terrible. Lost ton of money! Today we start team rounds. We will run 8 rounds. I will be watching all your videos from the very beginning now. Do you think is a good idea to take out long term loans from round 1? I heard since they are due in 10 y and we only do 8 rounds I won't have to pay them before. I just think loans make the company look bad.

    • @YouTubePreneur
      @YouTubePreneur  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      In this game, and mostly in corporate structure, loans are mostly necessary. In your personal life, you should avoid debt imo. Having said that, I used long term debt as a crutch. I tried to not sell stock to raise money.

    what type of strategy did you use? I have a question though if I have chosen a niche cost leader strategy, then how to do it

    • @YouTubePreneur
      @YouTubePreneur  19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'll answer this in case others have the same question. A niche cost leader, to me, means you're choosing one product to focus on narrowly (a niche). You, within that niche, choose to beat your competition by keeping your costs down, thereby allowing you to keep your prices down (the cost to the customer). This is what allows you to be the cost leader (in the customer's eyes).
      The way you do it is focus your time and energy on one product, automate it as much as possible, pay for tqm, and follow the customer's desires to a tee.

    Question... when forecasting for Amoeba, you factor in Able's high tech market share. Why is that?

    • @YouTubePreneur
      @YouTubePreneur  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are only so many products that will be purchased in the year. If one product is always on top, it makes sense to consider how many products it leaves for the rest of the market to absorb.

    Hello, I have notice that you have change pfmn and size of your product to make the revision date December. Does that means you want your product produce hased on previous pfrm and size for the whole year of 2020 and until last day you change your pfmn and size. Does it make sense?

    • @YouTubePreneur
      @YouTubePreneur  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's exactly right. The whole year, you're selling your old product until the December. That allows you to make an adjustment the following round, too, otherwise, you're stuck until the round after next. Because you also get insight into what your competition is doing at the end of each round, it allows you to adjust accordingly and sneak up changes on your competition at the same time.

    I used these decisions as a near exact blueprint for mine, however, i still had to take out an emergency loan after round 2. I think i ended up spending too much on automation. I increased it to 5.8, still less than what he did. Any advice from anyone on automation rating? Do you guys think he increases it a little fast? My simulation is competitive against classmates and therefore is more difficult to obtain as significant a market share as these videos.

    • @YouTubePreneur
      @YouTubePreneur  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine were against my classmates, too. That's the difference. If your fellow students are as aggressive as you are, the increased competition may cause you to sell less, thus increasing your inventory and an emergency loan. My videos should act as a model to learn from, but because the high number of variables, you have to take the lessons learned from my videos as assistance to guide you in making tailored decisions for your rounds. I hope that made sense. If you have specific questions for your results, email me and I'll give you an honest opinion.

      The first round or two is easier, in my opinion, to land in December. It's ok if it lands in November, too. You may have to adjust MTBF's and the other numbers involved; however, if you are investing in TQM, you pretty much won't get one to land in December unless you're making dramatic changes (which aren't necessary).

That will predict where your product ideal location will be throughout the year. So if performance is 5.0 and size is 12.0 and the drift rate is 0.5, you would have a cell that says for each month, 5.0 plus (( 0.5 divided by 12) times which month in the year you're looking for).
