Thank you so much for doing this video. I have been wanting to learn this volley for the longest time. My tennis instructor is very traditional so I have not been able to practice. I have the sling bag tennis machine so I can practice not. Thanks Ryan 🎈🎈👍👍
An option I am teaching my players is to choke up on the handle to hit a swinging volley, shortening the radius of the swing, then the ball can be played closer to the body with just as much force and less time for the opponent to react. I call it using my kiddie racquet grip and it works.
I think that Drive volley is more exact name to define this swing. Because balls comes above the shoulder line, Drive needs to be applied so as to hit the high ball strongly. ^^~

@@yakzivz1104 it’s a fun shot but not easy. Thanks for watching!!
Love this shot. Never thought it was a technical shot.
Thank you for the quick teaching!
So helpful. Easy to understand. Thanks for those tips!
Happy to help Sandy!
Great instruction. Thanks
Hi Ryan, what about grip? Should one modify it a little bit before hitting high dry volley? Thanks!

Are you hitting the back of the ball or the outside of the ball? Thank you Ryan!😎🌻
Hi Ryan - really appreciate these videos!!
Could you do one for the two handed backhand swing volley?
You are grunting in this video 😃
Grunt: good!
Quiet: holding breath, and gasping at end of point/rally. LOL
Hello 2MinuteTennis;
You forgot to mention the grip.
Thanks for sharing.
Like the way Ryan doesnt drop his racquet below his chest from start to finish on most shots.
