I have listened to many Sangah sessions, the system gives me sessions in the cloud? in the general memory and I find little gems like that "Moon River "that in this version I find very very nice, with certain improvisation games very much of the Sangah touch.
I'm here again in honor of your bday next week Sangah...I'm not sure how many times I have come back to your lounge series of videos but I often play them during my day and I believe it is in part responsible for my positive attitude...if I was to listen to the tv news I would be in total depression....here I can float down the Moon River and take a fantasy journey anytime I wish as well as any other magical wonderland all because of you Sangah.....Big Hug your way from me..

I liked all of the songs you played, Sangah, but the one that was very special is one that I remember listening to with my father when I was a child. Jim Nabors sang it on "Gomer Pyle, USMC". It is a powerful song that takes me back to my childhood when I would watch entertainment with my father, who would always answer to the best of his ability my dumb questions. haha. 처음엔 한국사람인지 몰랐어요. 팬 됐어요. 완전 좋습니다. 저는 음악에 소질이 전혀 없어서 연주를 할 엄두도 못내는데, 저 어렸을 적부터 가장 부러웠던 직업이 재즈연주 하면서 가끔씩 노래도 멋지게 부르는 님같은 직업이었습니다. 저는 왜 음악에 소질이 없을까요. 그런데 이런 라운지 재즈음악을 너무 좋아합니다. 부럽습니다. 마음을 편안하게 해 주잖아요. 제가 접했던 재즈 연주자중 단연 쵝오에요. 어떻게 그렇게 맛갈나게 연주를 하시죠. 재즈 연주자로서는 완벽합니다. 딱 제 스타일입니다. 나중에 기회되면 직접 가서 듣고 싶네요.저 말고도 라이브로 듣기를 원하는 분이 많으니 가끔씩 스케줄을 올리세요.유트부 아니었으면 평생 님이 연주하는 거 못 들을 뻔했네요.

I think I got a wakeup call today. Call it serendipity, or whatever you want, but we never appreciate something good until it's taken away. We may become accustomed to the most beautiful music to relax by on a regular basis but quickly forgot just how much we have until it doesn't arrive on time one day. It's like waiting for the mailman for that letter that you are expecting, but the letter never came!!! It's an emptiness...a feeling like you've been forgotten, or worse yet, like something has happened to your penpal. Well, like every thorn has its rose...it wasn't that long before we were presented with that long awaited video that usually arrives like clockwork. So, what did I learn through this experience? I learned that even though we should not become too attached to things in this world, it is difficult NOT to become attached. Especially when we know from where that joy comes. Only God can create such beautiful music, and He alone gifts certain people to be the vessels to deliver that music. So, my first response was "Oh no...is this God's way of saying that all good things must end? Well, I assumed that there might be a technical reason for the video being a little late...no big deal, especially since I experience technical glitches constantly in my line of work. It's no big deal, but yet it seems like a very big deal to those who are very used to hearing Sangah's always beautiful music three times a week. So, even though I understood how "it happens", I wasn't necessarily happy about it. I was having a sort of pity party just thinking about how my life, as I know it, ended today. What if Sangah really were to stop playing one day?? That is when I realized that it's time to show her how much I appreciate her and all the time she invests in keeping us well fed. Maybe we ought to make a small donation to do the same in return? That's just my thoughts. Okay...I'm gonna be alright, I think, but that was a close call!! I may be better prepared to go through that again, but I sure have no desire to do so! Oh, and about the video, you ask? ;P

So...I've watched several of your videos by now, trying to watch every single one in the order you posted them while keeping up with your new ones. In several of your lounge videos, I was wondering what was wrong with that piano's finish, why was the lid closed. Then I saw a video of yours where it looked like they put a pad on top of the piano to attenuate the sound and it kinda made sense in the background music context, but there's Sangah, at a Steinway. If I were at that place, I' probably be arrested for disorderly conduct, opening the hood, resting it on the long stick, and asking people to be quiet because I'm trying to focus.
Sangah, take care, take a well deserved day of rest. But I know you are, as we all are a Child of God. You help us smile when circumstances seem overwhelming. I hope you feel the love we feel for you. Yes, "Someone is Praying for You". Take care Sangah...
