I noticed the 1111 at your side. Is it spiritual for you? 1111 to me is a story. Let me know. Peace.
@diver4341 what is the story I'm curious?
Best feeling in life,. listening to this. What a great day it was for Paris this day.
I came across this by chance and was instantly entranced. I've never heard such strange and beautiful music. At first we might be impatient -- where is this going?-- because we are all so impatient, consuming things in little bites all day long and hurrying along. Here, in this space, we can sit still, surrender, and be carried by the music. Hania asks the audience at the end: "did you like it? was it okay? because I wasn't sure." Dear Hania, your audience was so still and silent because they were utterly transfixed by the wonder of this performance. This music shows us the soul, shows us how beautiful the neurology of humans is. I feel sadness but also amazement at how young people can create such beauty when all around is stress, demise, even horror. Hania and her band take that melancholy too and make something beautiful of it.
Beautifully articulated. I had the same thought as well.
Thanks has gotta go to the TH-cam algorithm on this one for directing me to this video haha.
so cringe
wow, who are you? It is neurotic in many ways, strange and beautiful. Very well articulated.
Likewise. Totally entrancing and so beautiful. I'm loving it and am only 20 minutes in!
Excellent description of all the emotions that one goes through as their music progresses. This youth is more soul and heart than people and they have a gift of being with a higher vibration.
Breathtaking. You know when you pick up that rare book, when you don't know it's going to speak directly to you, and you can't put it down and you stay up half the night to finish it? That's how I feel about this performance at Invalides. I just found it on TH-cam. I had never heard of her before and was just looking for some background music to do some work. I was captivated--so very much in the moment, in the present, in the ecstasy of deep connection to my soul. Her music transcends boundaries of spirit, scale, and place. It pauses time and sucks you in to be and experience. Thank you for that amazing performance and for sharing your talent with the world. May we find peace, joy, and acceptance.
Artfully spoken. Yes!
Ashleigh you should write, you expressed this so poetic.
try nils frahm too if you haven't already

@@hadidawani668 Nils and Hania should have a baby... Just saying...
I saw her live in Rotterdam this year and had to chance to talk to her after the show.
I hesitated for a bit, because meeting an artist in real life can be a real bummer if they turn out to be really arrogant or lofty, but I’m glad I took the change!
I can't explain how lovely and kind hearted she is in real life. She’s truly one of a kind. Stay Awesome Hania!
She's so lovely. I saw her in Early July (2022) in a small church in Toronto, Canada. She played three 20 minute sets. In the end, an old man hobbled from the back of the church with a walker, and presented her with flowers. She broke down crying and thanked us. "I'm nobody. I'm absolutely nobody," she said with gratitude. The church was a dive. It was a late night. She was sensational and so very kind-hearted. And seeing her live was beyond belief.

I would have loved to see that old man present her with flowers! Thank you for your recounting of this. So humble of her.
it´s actually kinda cute that she looks and sounds so nervous while talking to the people but when she´s performing the world stops, honestly the best find of the year thank you cercle for giving the opportunity to these artists so we get to know em, 100% new hania fan she´s just amazing her music is so unique and beatiful
Warm congratulations for the Fryderyk award, the most important music award in Poland. And I will continue to listen to this magical concert in the royal courtyard of the Invalides.
I grew up with Jean-Michel Jarre, now I will live with listening to Hania Rani happily till I die.
Is Cercle the best channel on youtube? Yes, of course. And just give them the well deserved Nobel Peace Prize for bringing people together with lovely music!

I've cried many times for my son and this music takes me to the deepest part of my heart...and to him. Yes, tears are good. Take care.
I'm sorry to hear your heartbreaking news. I'm a father, and I'm crying now, too. Life can be unbearably sad at times. I hope you find some measure of peace.

You got nothing else going on in your life?
I just discovered her yesterday and my life changed.
Just several days ago I had a chance to visit a concert in Lodz, Poland where Hania Rani received an award on the music festival - Golden Ear. Concert was unbelievable, that was in small venue and the silence and focus of the attendees was speaking as much as music. Everything was blacked out only few small lights around pianos on stage. I been to some concerts, including masterminds like Sting, Peter Gabriel or Ennio Morricone, but I never seen so many people sitting, heads supported by hands on knees, not even watching just focusing on what they hear. Unbelievable.
Concert started with her going into the mood and feel, mixing various elements from songs plus custom freeflow in improvisation, at least that was my feeling. To feel and receive all of these details, focus you had to achieve was, at times, hard to describe, perhaps even close to painful.
Still, to be honest here Hania - perhaps because she had complimentary team - went beyond herself. I wish this particular concert will be released on the CD/Vinyl, as it is truly legendary, and sound quality is just fantastic.
As I mentioned after concert, wishing you mrs Hania fruitful well deserved international career, thank you for sharing part of your soul and allowing us to explore this wonderful place.
First. :3
:3 Nice. It was in my feed. Indeed! Super good!!!! Live performance in France 👏🏽👏🏽🇫🇷🫶🏽🤝!¡ 🇮🇱Amazing musicians. Electric keyboards, grand piano, loopers, cello, drums, trumpet, vocals, etc.
A concert with Hania Rani and Nils Frahm would be a dream come true
absolutely!
Yep!
and/or Olafur Arnalds
or Bugge Wesseltoft. Never overlook those who came before.
Omg this was exactly my thought when I first heard Hania Rani!
Do they know of each other? Would they like to collaborate? Gosh I hope it will happen while these treasures still both walk the Earth
1st one, the superb intro👌🏻 Hania Rani goes Jean Michel Jarre, is brilliant.
my thoughts exactly, a small tribute to JMR, even if not intended
First 5 sec i hear this... Exact Jean Michel Jarre.
Well, is it really a compliment to liken a musician to Jean Michel Jarre ? This question leaves me in immense perplexity 😂
@@grzegorzzmijowski1010 True ;-)
Well I must say that type of music is common thing these days.
it's the biggest blessing to be able to see this for free. thank you so much, much love for all
Not sure why, but while working on emails in my office today, this music takes me back to my younger days in San Francisco -- when things were deep and heavy with slow jazz, freedom and creative impulses. Really enjoyed the ride!
Let's just not ignore how beautifuly perfect the sound recording of this is!
Agree.. a beautiful live mix.. incl the piano.. so subtle
True, I love the sound mix, but as a photographer we mustn't forget the awesome video shots and the details in the sunset, ulalaa thumbs up
I actually was wondering if the audience was hearing it as balanced as we are. Tough "room " to tune as an engineer. Phenomenal live recording.
In some of her singing I hear a lisp. Is that just her voice, or an artefact of the recording?
Some instruments are too quiet, namely the bass, very hard to hear.
The moment you know that someone is a true artist when you listen for over one hour of their music which is totally not in your favor and you admire every minute of it ❤
Well said
Agree
Yes ofcourse huge yes🎉
Absolut zutreffend! Obwohl Klassik- und Jazz Liebhaber bin ich mit meinen 80 Jahren von Hani Rani begeistert. Eine großartige Künstlerin.❤
Был на подобном концерте, полное разочарование исполнителями, однообразно и бездарно
The algorithm has brought me here today and I could not stop listening. I have listened to it twice now and bought concert tickets. Not one artist has ever done that to me ever. Simply out of this world
I love that I feel the same!!
almost agreed, Hans Zimmer, just saying 😉
Hania has what I call the "Radiohead ability" - the ridiculously-rare, almost-impossible balance struck between haunting and stunningly beautiful that I've only ever experienced as effectively in Radiohead's music.
You’re absolutely right. I think zero7 can come close too
The opening song brings back memories of Jean-Michel Jarre's 1990 Paris La Défense concert - Hanai Rocks!
I though the same 😊
never thought I'd see Hania Rani on Cercle, this is great

Repetition, stillness, slowness.. hardly any beats.. great mix for relaxation, meditation, healing of all sorts. Awesome performance!
Hania Rani is too good. This is the stage she deserves!
Listening to this for the 3rd time. I've never heard anything so magical.
It's a complete masterpiece 😆☮
Over ten times for me...just love it!
i've stopped counting .. 😅
Absolutely mesmerizing! The setting of the Invalides is perfect for Hania Rani's music. Feels like floating on air.
5:30 + Wow, it actually IS possible to attend a show where the audience sits patiently, appreciating the silence between notes and between passages. I am used to phones held high, cheering, clapping in the middle of songs, setting off fireworks, and throwing coins, bottles. etc. as soon as the volume of the piece goes down a bit. Lovely performance by Hania; look forward to all her musical exploration.
Cudos to the French!
I don't know if this is because I am exhausted, this makes me cry. It is such pure beauty, bliss. Soft and strong. Fragile and invincible.
I think many of us need a little more space for their emotions to flow. Our everyday lives have become so busy and we rush through emotions. For me it feels more like pressure that I had built up and the music helps me to let go.
This concert is such a masterpiece.
I just figured out that the "Unreleased" (44:24) piece is actually called "Kyïv", a piece she wrote just after the beginning of the war.
Your music makes me fly over the waves of the sea or over infinite landscapes. thank you very nice melodies
Oh my god. I was routed randomly by YT to this artist, Man this is so huge. Such a beautiful romance of piano and electronics, percussion and melody, i immediately fell i love with it! Such a young great artist, simple astounding. Well, this is love at first sight, i will Look at her records. By the way, a great quality Video!
It’s autumn 🍂 in Missouri-driving through the Ozarks with windows down and this playing, even the falling leaves seem to be dancing on their way down. So sublime

Hania Rani was born in Gdańsk, Poland. She studied music at the Music School Feliks Nowowiejski in Gdańsk and the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. Trained as a classical pianist, Hania Rani began incorporating jazz into her work during music school...'' - from Wikipedia

I am still in love with my daughters mother. We are so apart from my mistakes with drinking and drugs. This lady gives me strength and hope with her mastery in music . Today I am sober and can appreciate the hard lessons I am enduring. Consider it pure joy our maker says. With that attitude anything we want is possible. This is a view of heaven if we open our senses up. I dream of what if now but I also dream of what is.
After different talents as Eric Satie, Jean Michel Jarre, or Pink Floyd, i'm so gratefull to discover Hania Rani !...
Cant believe shes been performing for Cercle. Hania, jestesmy dumni! :D 🇵🇱🇵🇱
Geniusze muzyki :)
There is something magical going on here that I can't explain. But it reminds me of the spirit and joy of early JMJ music, also by coincidence performed in Paris. If I weren't designing architectural landscapes, I would be delighted to be designing sonic landscapes, anywhere close to this. The creative arts are international and are one thing that should never divide us.
Oh my go(o)d! She just gets better every time. I loved her music ever since I have heard her the first time, but this is something different... its the sensation of music-indused extasy, the "musical orgasm". Thank you.
I was a dreamer when I was 18 years old, I wanted to be on the stage and play, to share my life experience with people, now I'm 30, so much has happened, life did it differently as I wanted, seemed there were things to learn, and I was so exhausted with everything, all those dreams were far away from me, as I saw your performances, I had to cry, I feel that part in me which couldn't get the chance to appear is coming back, I am inspired again by you, so often I play you and just look at you, look at what you do, and admire you.

@@OrtoInScatola Maybe in France, like Canada to a degree, the audiences stay quiet out of the way, to not interfere with the magic? If this was inside the responses of airy hush and awe would be heard. AntonSalvik, that's true and also so great she has the confidence to play for themselves and the experience, trusting their arrangements and plans. it's really fantastic all around isn't it?!
Well, many artists are tortured souls and often lack confidence. So what you may be witnessing is not humility, but insecurity. Not sure that's the case here, just sayin'.

Love this lady. She is one of those artists whose art comes directly from the center of her being. In this concert she pulls the other musicians from the center of each moment into her miracle of creation. And we get to watch and listen.

Her music takes me to a place I've never been with any other artist. Thank you Hania.
Holy macaroni, I started listening to this and then completely lost track a couple of what I was doing and just spaced out in front of my monitor. Like a cross between Nils Frahm and Dave Matthew's Band. She's so good on the piano!
BRAVO!!! Many thanks for this beautiful, moving concert!
So happy I found this.
"Dancing With Ghosts" - I'm just blown away by that one.
In fact the entire set is next level special, I watched this when it premiered then put it on my mp3 player and drove up onto a hill and listened to it all over again as it slowly got dark.
Phenomenal.
Try listening this on Shure earbuds they use on the stage.
I think with this she took her songwriting to another level. She is amazing pianist/composer and I think Leaving, Home etc are not songs, just vocal-supported ambient compositions. Her songs till now were rather drafty (Don't brake my heart) and here Ghosts are a product of seemingly hard work made on writing a complete song. Great to hear this result, it's of highest quality.
2 utwór to poezja melodyjna.
I just can't get enough of this performance. listened to it at least 10 times since I discovered it last week..... :)
I know. If you are like me, it is not going to get "better". I discovered this about a year ago and this concert is pretty much always open in a tab on my computer. There may be a few weeks between me listening to it, but it just seems easier to keep it open than having to search for it, since I know I will need it again soon.
I was also fortunate enough to see Hania live a couple of months ago and that was amazing. If you ever get a chance, then go for it. I drove 200km for it both ways. Well worth it!
Just stumbled upon this video and was not ready for the onslaught of emotions this music gave me.
I couldn't ignore the intense longing it stirred in me. Beautiful. Reminded me a lot of Nils Frahm's music.
If this were released as an album I think it would win a Grammy
I would never have believed that someone would manage to make it to the same level as Pink Floyd. After 5 seconds, I was trapped. I actually play the guitar, but now I've unpacked my keyboard instruments again. Thank you for this great video!
My word.. what a unique talent. Was there ever such a musical ear? Bravo to the camera work also, crushed it.
HOLY moly!! This is just superb brilliant prog music. just…wow.... what a perfect harmony in this performance. From the bottom (and top) of my soul, this very tonight I became a HANIA RANI fan. I have never heard someone handle a piano in this way. Maybe one of the best concerts I have ever watched (minus the odd ones I´ve been to live in person…)
it's a trip in time, the best from tangerine dream, Klaus Schulze, JMJ, Glass in one, this is Hania Rani for me
Intro klasy mistrza Schulze.
Don’t forget Vangelis. 💚
As soon as her music started I had gooebumps all over my body. Literally shiver ran through. So powerful music. I'm glad I found her & this channel !
It's so moving, uplifting and sad at the same time. As if the music would purify your soul.
Hania is quickly becoming one of my favorite musicians.
Kolejny raz słucham tego koncertu - rewelacja.
Ja chyba trzydziesty...
