    So I’m searching the internet for box set sleeves and this pops up and I’m like I subscribe to him. The video was useful even two years later, thanks Dylan.

    I just did this with my “John Mayer: Where The Light Is” 4 LP Album. Thank you so much 😊

    I use the leftover bags from my mofi inner rice paper sleeve packs. Works well also.

    Great advice! I did the same thing but i used a penknife and just sliced the corner off, then taped it together and voila! Fits my 4LP Box set perfectly

    Brilliant! Was trying to avoid buying an overpriced set of box set sleeves when I only need a few, and this is perfect. Thanks!

    Thanks Dylan, not everyone can afford all the sleeves in bulk. Now we’re ready to see some videos of the vinyl you’ve picked up lately. #KeepSpinning🎧

      The Record Spinner By the way, you ought to do a video explaining what an “indie Exclusive” is. There is not one video on TH-cam(that we’re aware of)that explains that. That would be great for the “newbies.” Right now we’re tied up getting ready to move our HQ to Las Vegas.🎧

      I will definitely take note of that and keep it in mind as a video suggestion!

    I love these instructional videos that is actually useful. I’m gonna do this with my big boxes with Floyd , Zepp , Sabbath and Oldfield , asap. They are my only ones without protection in my collection. Thanks guys !

    God damn perfect, just what I needed. I only have three record boxes, all of them vary in size at 27mm, 24mm and 11mm, which makes it hard and also unnecessary to buy a pack of 25 sleeves... Gonna make myself some DIY box sleeves tomorrow I think.

    I save and use the plastic bags that the inner/outer sleeves come in.
    If I run out I may try this.

      Thank you Leon! A little something different that surprisingly other vinyl TH-camrs haven't gotten to and something that can be useful for others!

    Great video, really useful considering how many box sets I only - I have upwards of 40!

    It's not super pretty, but it works. I use the resealable package that my DiscKeeper record sleeves come in.

      @TheRecordSpinner  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha you got that right, especially if you use regular Scotch tape. Ah yes that’s a great solution, I’ve used those sleeves in the past so I know exactly what you mean. It’s all down to the size so sometimes you can get lucky with not having to scramble for a sleeve solution.

    @therecordspinner Do you know if this way works with the new Black Sabbath box sets? They are kinda big. I know you have at least one of them, so have you done this with them?

    Did anyone ever find a 10" boxset sleeve? Considering doing this if I can't find one but it doesn't appear to be a product that exists unlike the 12" and 7" versions

  • @AlfredoRoccia

    Thanks for your trick! Do you think we need to put a sleeve on the discs within a box set as well? Or is the external one enough?

    • @TheRecordSpinner
      @TheRecordSpinner  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just the external one. In terms of the records, it’s always important to make sure they are stored in polylined/anti static sleeves.

    • @AlfredoRoccia
      @AlfredoRoccia 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheRecordSpinner Right! You still need the inner sleeve. Thanks!
