Never comment on TH-cam videos but this little treatment has honestly been AMAZING for my hair 😩👏🏽. It was all different lengths with the bottom being longest and the middle and top really short in comparison. I tried this yesterday and the first thing I noticed was that my hair was almost twice as thick! Really wasn't expecting that. After I blow dried my hair I realised it was all pretty much the same length which is now by my shoulders!! So excited to use this treatment again in the future and take care of my hair properly🤗.
Coconut oil/milk are natural relaxers (over time). So the length created is actually the curl softening, thus hair appears longer. But You have beautiful hair and this is an excellent moisturizer treatment!
I seen what you mean. I like the milk better it washes out better and leaves my hair very soft shiny and managable. They all drip. I wisy they would make a cap that is drip resistant. It works like magic though just like a detangler.

I finally tried this for the first time & it grew my hair back down to my shoulders. I had got my “ends trimmed” about 3 weeks ago & the damn “hair stylist” cut an inch of my hair off & it was right below my ears. I’m very happy she recommended this ✨.
Tip: instead of cling wrap you can use a shower cap. Just be sure to wash it out well. Or if you’re doing the coconut oil step overnight, you can put cling wrap and a shower cap to make sure that if doesn’t move if you move around a lot in your sleep (like me)
oh you should have left the coconut oil in and blow dried it, coconut oil grew my hair alone. not overnight lol.. but its good for your body and cooking..
I tried this method and I used the same steps that you did. I am very pleased to say that it worked for me! My hair was over an inch longer the next day!!! it did not matter which way I turn my head to measure, it was still longer. :-)
i realize that my head is turned to the side in my next day length check. this has not diminished the results of my hair gaining length the following day though. since uploading, i have done another length check with my head facing forward and i have still gained length. i will be sure to correct this in my upcoming hair growth videos. thanks! :)
hey two quick helpful tips. For the egg try using a squeeze bottle or food/hair brush. For the coconut oil, melt and funnel into a spray bottle. For the oily mess-pre snake wrap a old tshirt around the edges after the plastic wrap then a large satin scarp then bonnet.

all u actually need is 1 or 2 eggs depending on how long ur hair is if it’s long use 2. All u need is coconut oil that’s all, cost around 2-6$. And if u want a inch to grow leave it for the whole night and wash with cold/warm water because hot water would boil the egg on your hair so be careful. And last just wash ur hair with mild shampoo which is tree oil and ect... message me back if u need help. It actually works!!!

Ok so long story short I wanted to give myself a trim. But I didn’t want my mom to know so I didn’t take her scissors but I used my safety scissors from first grade..... and I accidentally cut to high and had to even it out then I cut the other side to high and had to even it out. Ikr..I do that as well. Add coconut oil/olive oil and castor oil or shea butter as well. It would be nice if you could heat the oils or the entire hair mask. Remember not to microwave your oils and not to directly heat them. You can place it a glass container then put to boil in a pot of water. From my experience it cools quickly so I usually apply the oil while its still heating. Make sure its not too hot though.

i found a recipe on Pinterest, I haven’t tried it yet so wish me luck: -one egg -tablespoon of olive oil -tablespoon of coconut oil -tablespoon of honey I’ll let u guys know if it works Edit: it’s in my hair right now 😂 Edit: idrk if it worked because I used a back piece of hair to measure (just like she did) and it looks longer than the line I drew so I guess it works and it does feel healthier, I kept it in for an hour btw
This definitely works 100%! I tried it, I must admit it wasn’t the most pleasant method as it is quite messy and can smell a bit but honestly it does work!!
Ok. Ok. So i have a method that has worked for me. 1 table spoon of coconut oil 3 eggs I first melt the coconut oil and place it into s Tupperware container. Then crack all three eggs and use ALL of the egg (accept the shell of course). Then put the lid on and shake it until mixed. Then you need to let it sit for five minutes before you take the shower. Do your normal routine and make sure you brush your hair before you put the mixture in, it just makes the proscess easier. Make sure that when you apply the egg that the temperature of the water is medium/cold or you will get a scrambled egg hairdo. Take about half of the mixture and distribute it evenly on the top of your head, then massage into scalp for about 1 minute. Then do the underside of your hair with the other half of your mixture. Once it is all in and massaged then brush through your hair with the mixture still in it. I usually let it sit for a minute or two. Then just rinse it normally, and that is usuallyy it. 1. It will not make your hair stink if you get it all out 2. You do not have to use the whole egg. For normal hair, use the entire egg to condition hair; use egg whites only to treat oily hair; use egg yolks only to moisturize dry, brittle hair. I just use the whole egg so i get the best of both worlds 3. I have been doing this for 2 months and i cannot tell you exactly how much it has grown but i have seen a big difference If you have any questions then please do not be afraid to ask in the reply section

Everyone went through the process after the big chop, or transitioning stages, tried different ways to make their hair grow. We tend to use excessive amount of products, while over styling or hair. However, maturely this is a good method, with little tweaks and adjusting, it does work. Actually, some of this concept was used back in the day when women rock beautiful Afro's and unprocessed hair. It wasn't over rated about oils, sulfate free products, or using different leaves and herbs! I stick to a old regimen by using sulfate grease and glovers mane mix!!! "NOW THAT MAKES YOUR HAIR GROW!"

I wash my hair every week (7 day grace period). Week one, I use Shea Moisture Manuka honey shampoo and conditioner. Week two I wash my hair with just conditioner. Week three I wash my hair with just water and do a hot oil treatment following a deep conditioning masque treatment, week four, is a oil wash... Meaning I saturate my hair with olive oil, neem oil, and coconut oil... Wash it out and use a deep conditioner with a few drops of protein and mix together (baby face protein). I sit under a heated dryer for 30 minutes and wash it out. During each week I moisturize my hair twice a day between washes. I have a spray bottle with water, rose hip seed oil, and a leave in conditioner (the conditioner I use is from OKAY- ANYONE WILL WORK) I spray it just enough to be damp, and then I put my concoction in it (which is Shea butter, vitamin e oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil- which is whipped together as a cream I keep in a jar) and lastly I lock it in with the Shea moisture souffle cream. I grease my hair with sulfur 8 and glovers mane mix "lightly" every time I wash it especially on my edges). I don't use heat. I wear wigs or sew ins, and braids every now and then- only for two months TOP! I trim my ends every two months. I looking into trying the African soap and shampoo bars next... But that will be something ill try in the winter. I must add, that every other month I do use apple cider vinegar w/water followed by a egg and avocado oil & honey deep conditioner treatment. Other than that... This is it!

I agree, its a fun ideal but I think it was th position of her head and the way she measured it the second time versus the first time. Her first measurement she did, she grab near the ends of her hair holding it while using the marker, the second time she was pulling her hair from the bottom, plus straighting her hair added some length.
I'm trying this right now as i type this. I already did the olive oil and egg mask. Washed it off and now I have the coconut oil. I started a bit early but having the coconut in my hair is annoying. It keeps dripping down! I might need to stay up as long as i can and wash it off before I sleep. I will post my results after!
Agreed. Growing long natural hair is not easy and can be so confusing for newly natural. GROW YOUR HAIR is an app on GOOGLE PLAY STORE to help newly naturals. Its very helpful full of recipes etc.
The real hair growth comes from massaging your scalp with hot oil and your head tilted at a 90 degree angle. The other extra isn't necessary. I used to do it from another video on TH-cam and it works the same. You do it for 1 week out of the month.

If u stretch your hair.. Kinky or straight, it's still going to come to the same length. The hair being relaxed only makes more clear

I finally tried this for the first time & it grew my hair back down to my shoulders. I had got my “ends trimmed” about 3 weeks ago & the damn “hair stylist” cut an inch of my hair off & it was right below my ears. I’m very happy she recommended this ✨.

Tip: instead of cling wrap you can use a shower cap. Just be sure to wash it out well. Or if you’re doing the coconut oil step overnight, you can put cling wrap and a shower cap to make sure that if doesn’t move if you move around a lot in your sleep (like me)
I have quite a few wrap scarves; if you put on the shower cap or any plastic, i.e., saran wrap, secure it with your wrap scarf. use 2 if you have to.
oh you should have left the coconut oil in and blow dried it, coconut oil grew my hair alone. not overnight lol.. but its good for your body and cooking..

i realize that my head is turned to the side in my next day length check. this has not diminished the results of my hair gaining length the following day though. since uploading, i have done another length check with my head facing forward and i have still gained length.

hey two quick helpful tips. For the egg try using a squeeze bottle or food/hair brush. For the coconut oil, melt and funnel into a spray bottle. For the oily mess-pre snake wrap a old tshirt around the edges after the plastic wrap then a large satin scarp then bonnet.

all u actually need is 1 or 2 eggs depending on how long ur hair is if it’s long use 2. All u need is coconut oil that’s all, cost around 2-6$. And if u want a inch to grow leave it for the whole night and wash with cold/warm water because hot water would boil the egg on your hair so be careful. And last just wash ur hair with mild shampoo which is tree oil and ect... message me back if u need help. It actually works!!!

Ok so long story short I wanted to give myself a trim. But I didn’t want my mom to know so I didn’t take her scissors but I used my safety scissors from first grade..... and I accidentally cut to high and had to even it out then I cut the other side to high and had to even it out. Ikr..I do that as well. Add coconut oil/olive oil and castor oil or shea butter as well. It would be nice if you could heat the oils or the entire hair mask. Remember not to microwave your oils and not to directly heat them. You can place it a glass container then put to boil in a pot of water. From my experience it cools quickly so I usually apply the oil while its still heating. Make sure its not too hot though.

Ok. Ok. So i have a method that has worked for me.
1 table spoon of coconut oil
3 eggs
I first melt the coconut oil and place it into s Tupperware container. Then crack all three eggs and use ALL of the egg (accept the shell of course). Then put the lid on and shake it until mixed. Then you need to let it sit for five minutes before you take the shower. Do your normal routine and make sure you brush your hair before you put the mixture in, it just makes the proscess easier. Make sure that when you apply the egg that the temperature of the water is medium/cold or you will get a scrambled egg hairdo. Take about half of the mixture and distribute it evenly on the top of your head, then massage into scalp for about 1 minute. Then do the underside of your hair with the other half of your mixture. Once it is all in and massaged then brush through your hair with the mixture still in it. I usually let it sit for a minute or two. Then just rinse it normally, and that is usuallyy it.
1. It will not make your hair stink if you get it all out
2. You do not have to use the whole egg. For normal hair, use the entire egg to condition hair; use egg whites only to treat oily hair; use egg yolks only to moisturize dry, brittle hair. I just use the whole egg so i get the best of both worlds
3. I have been doing this for 2 months and i cannot tell you exactly how much it has grown but i have seen a big difference

In addition to the absurd comments below, you can either like or dislike and keep it moving! Everyone went through the process after the big chop, or transitioning stages, tried different ways to make their hair grow. We tend to use excessive amount of products, while over styling or hair. However, maturely this is a good method, with little tweaks and adjusting, it does work. Actually, some of this concept was used back in the day when women rock beautiful Afro's and unprocessed hair. It wasn't over rated about oils, sulfate free products, or using different leaves and herbs! I stick to a old regimen by using sulfate grease and glovers mane mix!!! "NOW THAT MAKES YOUR HAIR GROW!"
Exactly what is it that you use? And where do I find these products? So is sulfate good for the hair or not? Sorry for bombarding you with questions, but please answer.
I wash my hair every week (7 day grace period). Week one, I use Shea Moisture Manuka honey shampoo and conditioner. Week two I wash my hair with just conditioner. Week three I wash my hair with just water and do a hot oil treatment following a deep conditioning masque treatment, week four, is a oil wash... Meaning I saturate my hair with olive oil, neem oil, and coconut oil... Wash it out and use a deep conditioner with a few drops of protein and mix together (baby face protein). I sit under a heated dryer for 30 minutes and wash it out. During each week I moisturize my hair twice a day between washes. I have a spray bottle with water, rose hip seed oil, and a leave in conditioner (the conditioner I use is from OKAY- ANYONE WILL WORK) I spray it just enough to be damp, and then I put my concoction in it (which is Shea butter, vitamin e oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil- which is whipped together as a cream I keep in a jar) and lastly I lock it in with the Shea moisture souffle cream. I grease my hair with sulfur 8 and glovers mane mix "lightly" every time I wash it especially on my edges). I don't use heat. I wear wigs or sew ins, and braids every now and then- only for two months TOP! I trim my ends every two months. I looking into trying the African soap and shampoo bars next... But that will be something ill try in the winter. I must add, that every other month I do use apple cider vinegar w/water followed by a egg and avocado oil & honey deep conditioner treatment. Other than that... This is it!

Her first measurement she did, she grab near the ends of her hair holding it while using the marker, the second time she was pulling her hair from the bottom, plus straighting her hair added some length.

I'm trying this right now as i type this. I already did the olive oil and egg mask. Washed it off and now I have the coconut oil. I started a bit early but having the coconut in my hair is annoying. The real hair growth comes from massaging your scalp with hot oil and your head tilted at a 90 degree angle. The other extra isn't necessary. I used to do it from another video on TH-cam and it works the same. You do it for 1 week out of the month.
