I never owned any NB back in the day, unfortunately. That was one of the few brands that escaped me. I had plenty of nikes, Reebok, LA gear, troop, spx, British knights and travel fox. Oh, and some asics.
@@SOLESERFER yeah, the best era of shoes, imho. I wish the likes of la gear, spx, troop and British knights would make a comeback. The la gear catapult were awesome shoes. The karl malone catapults were fantastic. Troop made the best tracksuits. Incredible. I also loved the converse react shoes too.
Nice! They are constructed a little different than most athletic sneakers and the rubber on the outsole is thicker giving it a bit of a boot like feel but they break in very well. Check out the video Rose Anvil has cutting them apart he explains the unique construction well.
@@SOLESERFER thanks, I’ll definitely check that one out next. I’ve got to say, I’m loving all the options for court shoes in 2023 and hope this style stays around. In the past year I’ve skated fast breaks, some flights from the Nike store, and even dunks are affordable now.
Yeah that’s pretty much all brands these days especially with their models they try to keep around the $120 range. I grew up with the originals in the 80s and been into sneakers once the 70s so I lived through all the differences over the decades in materials and quality. ✌🏼
It's a quality sneaker. I'm glad NB made a comeback.
I've got that Queen Latifah cassette. A lot of references to New Balance in Golden Era hip hop. Quality Kicks.
No doubt. Thanks for watching brotha. Love those classic tunes.

I have a thing for all the brands 80s shoes so very nostalgic. A great era!

After your video I’d be hyped to skate a pair

Damn I may have to pick up a pair of 550s
Always good to try out some different classics now and then…. ✌🏼
that one guy cut these in half and the comeback ones are chock full of fake leathers and other bobo materials.
