Ocelot's face matches his look from MGS2. Pointy thin lower face and pronounced nose so it's pretty accurate to his design in MGS2 and even MGS4. Alot of people in the comments forgetting how he used to look like in MGS2.

Keep in mind this is a Kojima inspired game made by Kojima's old team. These characters are actually speaking Russian in lore, but meta gaming has it translated for the audience's convenience into English. possibly an explanation on why lip syncing here seems odd cause the lips are clearly detailed and enunciating words, just not the ones we are hearing.

Facial animations and just some of the animations in general just look super janky. It is pointless to throw a fresh coat of paint on a game like this if its going to fall apart in motion. In still shots it looks great...until it starts moving.

The lip syncing is so off it hurts...and yes it matters because it is a different ball game to have realistic looking humans with poor lip sync, compared to what the OG was...

There using unreal engine for this game animals fauna looked better than ever, and yes the voice over from the Original Mgs3 ( which it’s still perfect by the way ) and the improved controls too. Plus more content but there could be more.

Broooo these cutcenes are 1:1 😍😍😍!! The only thing that looked *very* off was the lip-syncing...the lines didn't feel like they were coming out of the characters, it felt like the game was muted and the voice-lines were being played overtop of it. Hope the lip-syncing gets better for the final release.
The released cutscene from the beginning of the game has some pretty good syncing with Zero. MGS 3 always had weird syncing. I'm hoping it's just the discrepancy of Japanese vs. English footage
