@@NeganSmith24exactly. With the guy who said “guns and bombs”, that’s all good until they genetically modify the dinosaurs. I know it sounds ridiculous but it’s only natural that if we can bring dinosaurs back, we can genetically engineer life by that point.
I know these are just films and books, but they have a point:
The JP3 Spinosaurus took a plane to the face and was fine, going on to kill a T. rex right after
The Indominus Rex tanked an RPG
In the novella of JP3 they had a tank shoot the Spinosaurus - it was fine after
People are corrupt, and stupid. They will make crazy shit if they can

If dinosaurs were brought back from extinction, it would be a complex and challenging task. One of the primary challenges would be obtaining viable DNA samples from the fossils of dinosaurs. While scientists have been able to extract some DNA from fossils, the preservation of DNA is poor over millions of years, making it unlikely that enough usable DNA could be obtained to bring the dinosaurs back.
Assuming that scientists were able to obtain usable DNA and successfully recreate a dinosaur, there would also be significant challenges in terms of housing and caring for them. Dinosaurs were massive animals and would require large areas to live and move in. Additionally, they would require specific environments and diets that may be difficult to replicate in captivity.
Furthermore, reintroducing such a massive and potentially dangerous animal into the world would raise serious ethical and ecological concerns. It would have significant impacts on the environment and could potentially drive many species to extinction.
Given the current state of technology and knowledge, it is highly unlikely that we will be able to bring dinosaurs back from extinction, and even if we could, it would be a decision that would require serious consideration of the ramifications.

Sorry to deflate your Awesomebro expectations, but a world with living dinosaurs really wouldn't be _that_ much more dangerous. We already coexist with numerous species of Megafauna that are larger, stronger, and faster than us, many of which are apex predators in their natural habitat.
And we've already driven many of those species to extinction, almost always by accident.

Most people don't understand that dinosaurs are just like modern day animals. Imagine, you are in Africa for some reason, and you encounter a lion. The lion doesn't immediately attack you right away, it defends it's territory or cubs because it has probably never seen a human before. Should the T-rex be any different? Even though Jurassic Park's dinosaurs where never 100% accurate, they still treated them like real animals! Watch Kurzgehzaught's video on what dinosaurs really looked like as they do a much better job at explaining this stuff unlike me.

@Wildlife Warrior no they are theropod dinosaurs, crocodilians are distantly related cousins. I think you got them mixed up. Birds are not distantly related, they evolved from theropod raptors, that's why archeopteryx( a transitional creature between birds and non-avian dinosaurs) had the hooked claws in their feet like a velociraptor, had teeth and had hands with fingers but was clearly capable of flight and had a lot of other features like a bird. Birds are always classified as theropod dinosaurs that's why.

  • @davidcolantuono3622

If I could bring back dinosaurs (and I wish I could, by the way), I wouldn't want to bring back *EVERY* species since there would be too many of them, which would disrupt the ecosystem. But, those I would bring back would be primarily the smaller dinosaurs. No giant sauropods. No huge carnivores (well, maybe, Tyrannosaurus Rex would be an exception). But, generally speaking, I would bring back relatively small dinosaurs up to the size of Utahraptors.
My favorites are in the Dromaeosaur family. Those include Velociraptor, Achillobator, Deinonychus, Dromaeosaurus, Dakotaraptor, Utahraptor, and Microraptor. I would definitely bring those back if I could. And, if I could clone them, they would act and behave much differently than their ancient ancestors did millions of years ago.
For one thing, the carnivores would be omnivores and wouldn't eat any meat that wasn't cooked all the way. So, you can forget about being breakfast, lunch, or dinner to any of them in that case (unless you were cooked first). They would adapt by eating other foods like fruits, vegetables, grains, other sources of protein, snacks, and even sweets.
For another thing, their intelligence level would be much higher than even the dinosaurs in the *JURASSIC PARK* franchise. They would be smart enough to communicate with people and other animals by using thought transference. They wouldn't be able to "talk" like we can, but they would use their thoughts to "speak" to us. Just think of the conversations we could have with them. In addition, their higher intelligence would enable them to do various functions including cooking, driving, working (as in real paying jobs), going to school, and many more things we humans do.
And, finally, they would be *MUCH* friendlier than either their ancestors or their JP counterparts were. They would be very civilized...perhaps, more so than many of us are today. They would only attack if someone teases, torments, abuses, and provokes them, in which case, those foolish enough to do such things would be asking for it. But, they would give plenty of warnings to such foolish people before they attack. And, their attacks would rarely be lethal. Instead of killing and eating, their attacks would mostly involve whipping with their tails.
That's how I would clone dinosaurs if that was possible. I know it's not really possible to bring back dinosaurs, but this *IS* a "what if" scenario here.
P.S., the smaller dinosaurs could be tame enough to keep as pets in my hypothetical scenario. Just make sure you have a place for them to do their "business". Bring them outside like dogs if you have to.

Well just an idea but I believe they would also be smaller and here is my reasoning. The Megladon Shark (sorry if I misspelled) went extinct because the lack of food resources it just wasn’t sustainable longterm . We are even finding out today that normal sharks are moving closer to shore or exploring areas outside their comfort zone to find food. Plus add how much humanity depletes the oceans resources, human/natural causes affecting ocean conditions I just don’t see a bigger sized oceans species surviving without dramatically affected our oceans ecosystem in a very negative way
