This is basically the same rig I have, but it keeps crashing regardless of settings. Gives me some hope that maybe in the future when they can fix the crashing I can play it
The crashing is something I haven't experienced at all, so it may not be the game causing the crashing. Have you tried going to your GeForce experience app and optimising the settings for "performance"? It could help 🤞🏼
If it helps at all, the crashing might not just be your pc. Several of my friends meet the recommended requirements and are crashing constantly. I don't think the game is very stable for a lot of people currently.
i know a streamer who has the exact same pc as his friend and he doesnt crash, his mate cant log in he crash instantly after spawning ( after a few second like most of us that crash ) and same for me i've seen multiple people running the same pc and for some it works really well for some it just crash after spawning @@Keeva-

Subscribed to you man, the videos are pretty nice! I tought you had way more subs than 2k (since u deserve more). At this point I reccomend for the people with this rig to continue playing ARK survival evolved, unless they have something particular in mind so they want this. And yes It is clearly playable. I have the same rig just that my processor is weaker (i5-7400). Anyways continue ur good work man!

HI bro. how you record your game ? obs studio? just asking because your video looks really good. i have nice pc 4060 rtx, 2 tera ssd ,32gb ram, i have my game everything on low but when i record my videos from ark on obs studio it looks terrible less than 360p quality tried many configs for obs nothing works. would be great to have some help and btw great video.

Take your pc outside, open it up, and spray all the dust out, careful not to over spin any fans. Make sure any and all fans (especially cpu/gpu) are free spinning.
I'm sorry I can't help unfortunately.. this video was made when ASA was released and because of my bad pc, I now play ASA on PS5 and it runs really smooth. Only thing I can suggest is removing clouds and fog using these commands: r.VolumetricCloud 0 r.VolumetricFog 0
I really hope it works for you! 🤞🏼🤞🏼 there's a couple more things you can do to help it run a little smoother too: When in game, press the ~ key Then type: r.volumetriccloud 0 Do it again and type: r.volumetricfog 0 This will remove clouds and fog 👍🏼👍🏼 good luck, let me know how it goes!

@_filerko_9579 I'm not too sure, it might not from what people are saying. This video is quite old now so the game has changed a fair bit and is a bit more graphically demanding then at the time of this video
running this on a 1660 ti hdd and a i7 9700f 54c°at stable 80 fps all low end settings with slight stutter due to 3d assets in hdd being slow all imma need is a better ssd
@ssrocky4gaming it's really hard to know, the optimisation has changed a fair bit since the game released (which is when I made this video). I also now play Ark on PS5. So sorry I'm not much help with this one man
Very helpful video, thank you! I am with gtx 1650 super (equal to 1060 except that 1650 super is with 4 vram) and I was wondering if I can run it. Probably on full release and much more optimization patches the game will be playable for low end specs.

@freddaman3502 in the main menu screen, go to your settings and lower them all before you actually start. Just turn everything as low as possible like I did. Then once you are in, you can try adjusting some things up and see what works
I got a r5 3600x and a vega 64 nitro+ which is like a 1080ti in terms of performance. I run consistent 8 fps at all low resolution scale on 0. I have no idea wtf is going on
@saikyue4462 optimisation for this game is pretty poor. From what I've heard, it doesn't sound consistent across different setups. I have people messaging me say they have worse setups then me and it runs better. I also have people saying they have better setups and it runs worse than me. So who knows 🤷🏽♂️
@@StynaGamez ya seems GPU means most I have plenty of people using it on a 1060 with no problems on low settings even some settings on mid you definitely get way better results the more RAM you have though with him running 8 GB of RAM he only has one single chip so he's not even getting the dual channel bonus

I have a 4070 laptop, 16 gb memory and 8 vram, is this okay for this game? My old 3050ti could not run it, but that had terrible memory, and I think my crashing was due to my memory and vram issues,
People seem to be having mixed experiences, I have had people say they have a better pc than me and they have issues. Someone tried to tell me that this video is fake because my pc shouldn't be able to run it at all. Could be worth reading some of the comments and asking someone that mentions a similar setup as you 👍🏼
@@StynaGamez MY CURRENT GPU on This PC is weaker than yours I think, 960 gtx, but my CPU probably is stronger / 32 GB Ram / SSD and it sometimes ran worse than yours and sometimes ran better than yours, I also used the console commands thing, but I couldn't handle playing it with these heavy framedrops, the game is very poorly optimized considering it's their MOST ACTIVELY UPDATED GAME.

I have a i5-7500 @3.40 GHz and a GTX 1060 with 16 GB of Ram, but when I spawned in on all low graphics it would just freeze. Do you know that the problem could be?
I'm actually really not too sure, is it the latest version of Ark? Since posting this video, there has been a number of patches which improve performance
@2ezOT oh ok that's fair enough. It's hard to say exactly if it will run well enough or not. So maybe best not to risk it and keep your money. Do you have a console, PS5 or Xbox S/X? I'm a console player so I'm waiting for the PS5 version 🙏🏼
I have a 3050 and it still acts the same as your gameplay ive tried multiple ways to fix it but it just wont work (theres also flying rocks in my single player world)
It's funny, I've had someone else with a 3050 say the same thing. I'm really not sure what it is and how the requirements work. People are having mixed experiences. I play now on PS5 and the game is pretty flawless, I mean it's not as good as a jacked pc with rtx 4090 but the console version runs amazing

I honestly don't think you could, but I'm really not sure. If that's the PC you are using, google a website called canirunit (Can I Run It) and the website will tell you if your PC can run certain games 👍🏼

It's really hard to say whether it will work or not. It seems as though people are having mixed experiences. Yeah man I would say so! But I'm not entirely sure. You can always try googling a website called, canirunit (can I run it), the site will detect your PC and tell you if it can play specific games 👍🏼
I'm honestly not too sure. Your GPU (3050) should be fine graphics wise but I'm not sure how well the i3 can handle this game.. there is a website you can try, it is called "canyourunit . com" and it will detect your setup and tell you if it will work. Maybe give that a go?
Do you run into crashes alot and/or the game freezes that force you to close the app down and reboot? I'm not familiar with pc building nor parts lol. I have a 1070 and playing in servers I definitely crash alot and freeze.
I actually haven't had any issues. The only thing that has happened is my body glitched inside an argy and I had to leave and rejoin the server. Apart from that, pretty smooth sailing 👍🏼
@wu2king842 yeah that could possibly cause issues. The game is recommended to run off SSD as a minimal requirement. I'm running off HDD, seems to take a long time to load stuff, especially when first turning game on 😂

i honestly belive you can get at leaxt 60 70 fps on ark asa at this current moment with proper game optimization like ingame filter ini settings, nvidia optimization and file changes
I'm not the brainiest person when it comes to PC knowledge, but I can tell you that the "recommended" specs say 'i5-10600K' processor. This makes me think that you could probably play it, but you will experience dropped frames even on the low graphic settings...

It's honestly really hard to say exactly, I can only display here the results I get. But your laptop does sound beefy enough, however I'm running it on a pc. I play it quite comfortably, especially once I remove the clouds & fog from the game

upgraded to a new rig from a gtx 1080 ryzen 5 2600x and 32gb ddr4 to a rtx 4070 ryzen 5 7600x 32gb ddr5 just to play this game and have frame gen got to say money well spent plus it got me on the new platform am usually one of them people that will wait years for old gen top end and buy them cheap hence the 1080. got to say frame gen is a game changer literally lol

To be honest, it's really hard to say. People with very similar setups to me are having really bad results, constant freezing or not even being able to load in. I can only show you my results based on what I have. Your graphics is a fraction less than what I have, so I don't recommend risking it. If you have an xbox X or S, or even a PS5, you might be better off getting the console version, out very soon!
I'm not 100%, but as I can only show you how it runs with my rig. But in your case I would say it would have a hard time running it. There is another option though, it's behind a pay wall. If you look into "Nvidia Now" you can run the game in Max graphics on any system! But it costs a subscription fee. I'm patiently waiting for the PS5 version to drop, cheaper for me to get it console than to upgrade my PC
@@StynaGamez yeah just watched a couple of videos about people trying it with a 1050ti and getting like 5fps at the lowest settings 💀 for nvidia now, isn't there a free subscription where you can only play for an hour or something ? Heard about that when it got realeased... I wouldn't buy a ps5 just for this game thought, but hey at least you should be able to handle it !

Well if You have played on device in description then your device is not bad its very good device. Try playing it on intel HD 620 I am Sure no one can play ark survival ascended on that graphics card.
@@StynaGamez that's what I am saying I have very bad graphics card intel HD 620 and my graphics card cannot even run roblox on full graphics so its very confirmed that I will play ark ascended on like 5 or 10 fps and it will be so horrible.
jeez it lags i wouldve expected more from a 1060 as i am a user of one a big tip tho in all games shadows are absolutely horrendous for fps so turn then to low/off and maybe u can manage a bit of a higher quality + frames as now there is more room to add extra graphics for other categories!

Yeah I guess with the low settings, it's still unreal engine 5 as opposed to Unreal Engine 4 👌🏼 I play this now on PS5 and I'm often still blown away by how good it looks

Just wondering, I have a 3070 instead of your 1060 but everything else the same. is the HDD a huge change to the games performance since thats what i also would use? or will i be able to run it on a little better graphics than this cause of my gpu?
That's a great question man! Did you watch the gameplay on the second half of the vid? It shows where I enter a cave and the game freezes for a brief moment to load in... this is where the HDD has affect, same as when you first load up the game, it takes time. Apart from that there is no other performance issue (that I have found) in regards to HDD. And yes I would assume your gpu could handle better graphics settings, would just be a matter of tweaking things to see what works best. Good luck mate 👍🏼
I totally agree, however, Ark Ascended has a whole bunch of quality of life changes that are improvements to Evolved. So at least you get to experience those 🤷🏽♂️

Yes, that is considered high end for sure. However, people with similar setups to that seem to be having small problems. I think you would run it really well in high graphics settings!

I posted this video on the first weekend of release, so my guess is there has been a bunch of optimisation patches to the game since then so it looks different. I have been playing on PS5 since it dropped on console, so I might go back to my potato PC to see how it runs now 🤔

Im on a 2020 Gaming HP Pavilion laptop, i already had to add another 16gb of ram so its at 32gb now. Intel i5. Its struggling a little even with low settings, time to start building a PC i guess 😂
I have a good newish cpu but a 2013, 780 graphics card and i can run alot of games still fine cause ive also got good ram but idk if i will be able to run this game

I refunded the game 😄. Took me pretty much the full 2 hours to get things going and it was pretty rough. Although with a bit more time maybe I could have had it running as good/bad as ASE

Very nice video but for me personally i will stick with ark survival evolved because i can play it on high settings at least with gtx 1650 and i5 10300h and 8 gb of ram but soon i will upgrade and buy a new pc with my money from my news paper job(i am 14)and the pc specs are gonna be like r5 7500f 32 gb ram on 6000 mhz 1 terabyte nvme and rx 7700xt or 7800xt
And that is completely understandable! Playing in gross graphics like this video isn't very enjoyable. I play it now on PS5 so graphics are nice and crisp 👌🏼
How are you running this on an HDD? My game just straight up crashed but also my HDD might not be the problem. My specs: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, Intel Core i5-4590 @ 3.30GHz, 16GB RAM, HDD
I'm not sure, I find the only issue with HDD is load times. It takes ages to load into the game and for all the in game assets to load. Also when I enter caves and it has to load (as you see in this video). But yeah, my experience is quite good. I have made a handful of videos if you want to check them out and see the quality I get. For you, something else may be an issue. Might be in your Nvidia settings, make sure it optimised for performance 🤔 but your rig definitely seems good enough!
@@StynaGamez I'm thinking the optimisation will be prioritized to console as it would be Hella easier due to way to many pc hardware combos out there. Im playing pc on all low and want to upgrade but thinking I need to see playstation gameplay first. The games looks really immersive with the water/foliage reactions ect, it's such a shame to have those things turned off😢

The crashing is something I haven't experienced at all, so it may not be the game causing the crashing. Have you tried going to your GeForce experience app and optimising the settings for "performance"? It could help 🤞🏼

If it helps at all, the crashing might not just be your pc. Several of my friends meet the recommended requirements and are crashing constantly. I don't think the game is very stable for a lot of people currently.

At this point I reccomend for the people with this rig to continue playing ARK survival evolved, unless they have something particular in mind so they want this. And yes It is clearly playable. Take your pc outside, open it up, and spray all the dust out, careful not to over spin any fans. Make sure any and all fans (especially cpu/gpu) are free spinning.

I'm sorry I can't help unfortunately.. this video was made when ASA was released and because of my bad pc, I now play ASA on PS5 and it runs really smooth. Only thing I can suggest is removing clouds and fog using these commands:

Yeah man, 144hz is only my monitor display... 144 frames is the maximum it can handle. You'll run this game around 30-40 frames (hz) 👍🏼

@freddaman3502 in the main menu screen, go to your settings and lower them all before you actually start. Just turn everything as low as possible like I did. Then once you are in, you can try adjusting some things up and see what works

Honestly, I know it's hard because you want that higher resolution. But try playing at 1080p. You'll probably get like 45 fps 🤷🏽♂️
I got a r5 3600x and a vega 64 nitro+ which is like a 1080ti in terms of performance. I run consistent 8 fps at all low resolution scale on 0. I have no idea wtf is going on
@saikyue4462 optimisation for this game is pretty poor. From what I've heard, it doesn't sound consistent across different setups. I have people messaging me say they have worse setups then me and it runs better. I also have people saying they have better setups and it runs worse than me. So who knows 🤷🏽♂️

I have a 4070 laptop, 16 gb memory and 8 vram, is this okay for this game? My old 3050ti could not run it, but that had terrible memory, and I think my crashing was due to my memory and vram issues,
People seem to be having mixed experiences, I have had people say they have a better pc than me and they have issues. Someone tried to tell me that this video is fake because my pc shouldn't be able to run it at all. It's funny, I've had someone else with a 3050 say the same thing. I'm really not sure what it is and how the requirements work. People are having mixed experiences.

I honestly don't think you could, but I'm really not sure. If that's the PC you are using, google a website called canirunit (Can I Run It) and the website will tell you if your PC can run certain games 👍🏼

I actually haven't had any issues. The only thing that has happened is my body glitched inside an argy and I had to leave and rejoin the server. Apart from that, pretty smooth sailing 👍🏼

I'm not the brainiest person when it comes to PC knowledge, but I can tell you that the "recommended" specs say 'i5-10600K' processor. This makes me think that you could probably play it, but you will experience dropped frames even on the low graphic settings...

It's honestly really hard to say exactly, I can only display here the results I get. But your laptop does sound beefy enough, however I'm running it on a pc. I play it quite comfortably, especially once I remove the clouds & fog from the game

upgraded to a new rig from a gtx 1080 ryzen 5 2600x and 32gb ddr4 to a rtx 4070 ryzen 5 7600x 32gb ddr5 just to play this game and have frame gen got to say money well spent plus it got me on the new platform am usually one of them people that will wait years for old gen top end and buy them cheap hence the 1080. got to say frame gen is a game changer literally lol

To be honest, it's really hard to say. People with very similar setups to me are having really bad results, constant freezing or not even being able to load in. I can only show you my results based on what I have. Your graphics is a fraction less than what I have, so I don't recommend risking it. If you have an xbox X or S, or even a PS5, you might be better off getting the console version, out very soon!

I'm not 100%, but as I can only show you how it runs with my rig. But in your case I would say it would have a hard time running it. There is another option though, it's behind a pay wall. If you look into "Nvidia Now" you can run the game in Max graphics on any system! But it costs a subscription fee.

@thelegendarycowboy6616 sounds like PVE might be more your style? I enjoy PVE, at least to build up to a sustainable position. Then turn PVP on when everyone is ready. Well if You have played on device in description then your device is not bad its very good device. Try playing it on intel HD 620 I am Sure no one can play ark survival ascended on that graphics card.
I wouldn't say my pc is very good, but it does enough to run the game, edit videos and livestream 👍🏼
@@StynaGamez that's what I am saying I have very bad graphics card intel HD 620 and my graphics card cannot even run roblox on full graphics so its very confirmed that I will play ark ascended on like 5 or 10 fps and it will be so horrible.
jeez it lags i wouldve expected more from a 1060 as i am a user of one a big tip tho in all games shadows are absolutely horrendous for fps so turn then to low/off and maybe u can manage a bit of a higher quality + frames as now there is more room to add extra graphics for other categories!

Yeah I guess with the low settings, it's still unreal engine 5 as opposed to Unreal Engine 4 👌🏼 I play this now on PS5 and I'm often still blown away by how good it looks

@goldenlegendrex it's interesting you know. I've had people comment saying they have a better PC than me and they can't run it. But I've also had people comment saying their PC is worse than mine and it still works. Seems as though there is a lot of mixed experiences, all varying from setup to setup 🤷🏽♂️

Just wondering, I have a 3070 instead of your 1060 but everything else the same. is the HDD a huge change to the games performance since thats what i also would use? or will i be able to run it on a little better graphics than this cause of my gpu?
That's a great question man! Did you watch the gameplay on the second half of the vid? It shows where I enter a cave and the game freezes for a brief moment to load in... this is where the HDD has affect, same as when you first load up the game, it takes time. Apart from that there is no other performance issue (that I have found) in regards to HDD. And yes I would assume your gpu could handle better graphics settings, would just be a matter of tweaking things to see what works best. Good luck mate 👍🏼

I totally agree, however, Ark Ascended has a whole bunch of quality of life changes that are improvements to Evolved. So at least you get to experience those 🤷🏽♂️

Yes, that is considered high end for sure. However, people with similar setups to that seem to be having small problems. I think you would run it really well in high graphics settings!

To be honest, I'm not really sure. People seem to be having mixed experiences. Some people with better rigs than mine can't run it well, then others with worse rigs than mine can run it better than me. Wish I had a better answer for you bro. But good luck

I posted this video on the first weekend of release, so my guess is there has been a bunch of optimisation patches to the game since then so it looks different. I have been playing on PS5 since it dropped on console, so I might go back to my potato PC to see how it runs now 🤔

Im on a 2020 Gaming HP Pavilion laptop, i already had to add another 16gb of ram so its at 32gb now. Intel i5. Its struggling a little even with low settings, time to start building a PC i guess 😂

I refunded the game 😄. Took me pretty much the full 2 hours to get things going and it was pretty rough. Although with a bit more time maybe I could have had it running as good/bad as ASE

Very nice video but for me personally i will stick with ark survival evolved because i can play it on high settings at least with gtx 1650 and i5 10300h and 8 gb of ram but soon i will upgrade and buy a new pc with my money from my news paper job(i am 14)and the pc specs are gonna be like r5 7500f 32 gb ram on 6000 mhz 1 terabyte nvme and rx 7700xt or 7800xt
And that is completely understandable! Playing in gross graphics like this video isn't very enjoyable. I play it now on PS5 so graphics are nice and crisp 👌🏼

How are you running this on an HDD? My game just straight up crashed but also my HDD might not be the problem. My specs: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, Intel Core i5-4590 @ 3.30GHz, 16GB RAM, HDD
I'm not sure, I find the only issue with HDD is load times. It takes ages to load into the game and for all the in game assets to load. Also when I enter caves and it has to load (as you see in this video). But yeah, my experience is quite good. I have made a handful of videos if you want to check them out and see the quality I get.
For you, something else may be an issue. Might be in your Nvidia settings, make sure it optimised for performance 🤔 but your rig definitely seems good enough!

Im playing pc on all low and want to upgrade but thinking I need to see playstation gameplay first. The games looks really immersive with the water/foliage reactions ect, it's such a shame to have those things turned off😢

Hard for me also as I was really looking forward to making Ark content and just the few videos I have made just look awful lol.
