Why does everyone rave on about how good The Swedish House Mafia are and David Guetta? 13 years ago we had tracks like this, and didn't know how good we had it until we look at what is made today. No effort, no passion, just money and dirty noises in dance music nowdays. It's finished.
7 years on. I will say I am glad that early 10's type of dance has gone now. Things are far better, not quite as good as the tune above but things are better than 10 years back with dance music.
You have to thank Judge Jules for that, he had crazy energy and passion for trance music and the scene in general back then. Even though he could be bit of a prick at times and was only a semi decent DJ, there's no denying that his record label was incredibly important to the development of the scene.
@@slightlytwistedagain I agree. I never thought he was a great DJ. Far from it. His mixes are bland and at times crunchy...for a world class DJ, he didn’t cut the mustard on a CD. But live...whoa. He was brilliant. He is a legend for sure
I actually pulled over a driver to let me borrow this CD with the promise to give it back to him. Got his number and all. It was a bonus he was a hot Canadian but the reason for me was truly the music. And he was so cool about it. This is what was great about these times... people were chill about everything. No racial cares no animosity just music and unity through music and respect and tons of agape love.
@@crustythewanksock2413 edm is the more recent bastardized product of commercialism, money and selling out to appeal to the US market. This track is back in the day when trance (not edm) was the best
As Jmcd31 said, dance music has been around for decades with a huge dance scene in the UK and Europe from the late 80's onwards. When dance music started to become a big thing in the U.S. in the last 10 years the record labels wanted to slap a name onto it to make it a 'thing' hence they started calling it EDM to make it cool and hip. To be honest EDM sounds like a crappy name for a prescription drug.
AMAZING. I forgot how much of a masterpiece this was. Such a beautiful progressive version of an already fabulous song. That bassline is so dirty when my mum came in my room I had to put on porn on the screen to hide it.
This is yet another Commie bassline masterpiece. Yes most of his remixes sound similar but if you have a winning formula, stick to it. Love to hear Commie back remixing some of this modern shit that is out today.
The original is definitely in it's own league but this is good great, I love the bassline on this mix. The original is opening the gates to heaven pure bliss, this version more on the dirty side and you need both.

Totally agree, Cant stand today's music, its totally shit!!!!!

Late 1999 Tongy was hammering this on Radio 1, the good times

❤
One of my favorite trance tracks from 2000...
10 years ago...so far away...yet still sounds danceable and full of class!
Nearly 10 years since this comment. Seems so far away but still just as relevant.
20 years on and it's still banging 🔊🔊🔊
It was such a different take on production it sounds so fresh even today in 2023 ❤
Defo the best mix of this track.. Heavy weight
awesome tune, I remember the days driving round in my GSI listening to this on repeat lol
One of the greatest trance tracks ever, and one of the greatest remixes too.
Manifesto was a beast of a label!
Agreed. They had so many great releases

Did you give it back to him?! 😄
Yes actually... we became life time friends... still to this day ❤ 😅 @ellie.mirily
@@Dulce2393 Was this particular mix actually on a CD? I've got the radio edit of the Commie mix on CD, but struggling to find the full length version.

Love the, what only can be described as, squelchiness of this remix!!!!
5:07 love the original but my God I love how this mix drops everything there
LOVE LOVE LOVE this version!!! Best one out there!!!!
That bassline is pure filth and the track is pure energy. God, I miss EDM the way it should be.
This isn't EDM!!!
This is not EDM.
jmcd31 it’s electronically produced, it’s dance and it’s music tho so technically it’s EDM ☕️🐸

Hi hilary
Мне не кажется, или эта группа украла ноты из темы Taskforce - Touch Me?
How to destroy a classic. If there was ever a reason NOT to remix a classic track, this is it.
EgoChip I totaly disagree, this is far superior to the original classic in my opinion. Perfect example of a *superb* remix!
Different to the original but every bit as good if not better. The drops are lush, hits the spot every time

@@boiky1714 Have to agree. The original is a great tune, but feels weak. This commie mix just adds to it in all ways.
