Dennis Waakop has to be one of the best music producers ever. So many beautiful massive hits that still brought cutting edge sound ❤ it feels weird that he isn't known and recognised by Tiësto fans...
A very dear chosen family & dear friend passed away recently. This was one of one of my best friend's favorite trance songs. He would get geeked out and mega blast it in our old Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, a whale of a car, driving down Sunset Blvd when we both lived in LA. Fun, treasured memories sista. Miss ya...
For people saying "Tiesto" produced this, really it was Dennis Waakop who wrote/produced this song and really most of Tiesto's old classic trance hits. Tiesto has always been a team, with Tiesto himself mostly DJing and being the face of the brand, while a myriad of others actually wrote and produced most of Tiesto's old stuff.

I bought a "best of" trance album in 02 i believe. I went wide eyed when i heard this 'track' and couldn't stop playing it over and over. It's what truly got me into this style. This song will always bring me back and I'll always have old school tiesto implanted in my heart. Bad ass
remember i visted germany back in 2002, more specifically lower saxony. this was playing in the airport and instantly became obsessed. been searching for it ever since, until i found it a couple of years ago. best trance track of all time!
This is the most cleverly composed trance track i have ever listened to. And i enjoy it very much. Listen properly. Listen properly and you will be able to see with your ears, because there is something great happening here.
I'll always associate this song with driving at night, because I first heard it on the radio when I was driving home from a closing shift back in 2002, I love songs that can do that.
I saw Tiesto live at Creamfields 3 times. One of the times he accidentally hit pause mid-set and a field full of some 50000 people left thinking WTF for a few seconds. Fond memories. But anyway, banging tune. Shame about the newer stuff but we'll always have tunes like this.
I still come back to this periodically after 20 some years. Every time I do is a reminder that it’s quintessential trance. No vocals. Just emotion and music. What blows my mind is that despite whatever movement you’re in, you can close your eyes and you hear the sounds of a train. The syncopated clickity clack of tracks. The blast of the airhorns. The bell dinging of the road crossings. You can practically feel and hear the locomotive pulling you through the city and countryside. All while being an amazing trance track.
We have moments in our life where everything just seems perfect. I had one such moment a few days ago where I was driving home from the gym in brisbane, the sun had almost set and there was a golden glow in the sky, I had the endorphins from my workout and this came on in the show I was listening to in the car, I practically floated home on a wave of goosebumps and good feels.
Some people say this track is cool. For me it's the best tune ever made. It sounds so simple and complex, happy and sad, calm and energetic. Whenever I hear it, it touches my heart and enlightens it with sunshine. It's fuckin brilliant! nice upload.
This song is so fking hardcore 90s, its unbelieveable! It takes me hardcore back to 1999-2004 in spain, when my father was a famous dj and just my whole life living right in the party scene everyday when i was only 3-5 years of age
Современный транс утратил свое предназначение, он мог отправить наше сознание в приятное путешествие, к сожалению современное направление стало очень земным, а тут именно ощущение того что ты сейчас сам оторвешься и полетишь!
the shame is that all the new house tiesto supporters do not really know that what made tiesto so famous were trance songs like this. This is the real tiesto
rafa montejo lol. Tiesto isn't ''House''. Especially these days with his POP MUSIC persona. Why are there so many trolls around the media calling him ''house''. wtf?? Frankie Knuckles, the Godfather of House music circa 1977 {RIP} would hang his head in shame. Please learn the history of Dance music. House came before Trance. House was basically a rejuvenated version of Disco music. Trance was born in the 1990s, House was born in the late 1970s in Chicago, The Warehouse. Educate yourself before you mislabel artists and music.
Laura L Trance has its roots in 70s also with klause schulze, morphed into electronic music as proto goa, and then went mainstream at the beaches in 1992-6.
Laura L calm down please. Tiësto has been producing house the last 5 years. Pure or not, it is house. And all I was saying is that it's a shame that nowadays' fans of Tiësto don't know his real genre was trance. So calm down. It was an opinion, not a dick, don't take it so hard :)
rafa montejo except what he's making isn't House. Period. Saying Tiësto is a House producer is like saying Justin Bieber is a Heavy Metal singer. House music is characterised by strong Funk, Disco and Soul influences, Tiësto's new releases do not have that.
i think Dj Tiesto -Traffic got me in to the classic trance genre. or maybe Paul van Dyk - For An Angel. or maybe Armin van Buuren - Communication. i don't knew it i think. but it was one of these
I 'grew' out of trance music and happily went into a techno, house, minimal route a long time ago. Whatever. It's been many years since I last listened to this track and jeez, honestly. It's still a weapon. Obsession is also another great track from this era of Tiesto!

remember i visted germany back in 2002, more specifically lower saxony. this was playing in the airport and instantly became obsessed. been searching for it ever since, until i found it a couple of years ago. best trance track of all time!
m.th-cam.com/video/1kFUszxku_E/w-d-xo.html
This is the most cleverly composed trance track i have ever listened to. And i enjoy it very much.
Listen properly. Listen properly and you will be able to see with your ears, because there is something great happening here.
ASOT Top 1000 - No. 50 .... #ASOT1000
Glad it got that recognition
@@cosmic_gate476 easily had recognition way before the asot list, tiesto set the benchmark back in the day
Goosebumps everytime even 20 years on since I first heard it
This track makes me cry, so many memories... One of my all time favorites.
Fantomas24ARM Yeap, defintly one of the best trance music of all time!!!
I'm crying right now.
Me too
Боже блять и вы здесь говнари русские
Tears of joy
I get so emotional to your music 😂😂❤❤
I'll always associate this song with driving at night, because I first heard it on the radio when I was driving home from a closing shift back in 2002, I love songs that can do that.
To me it reminds me Tiësto in Concert II, I can almost hear the chorus at the back
Any good song should have a memory to it.
The best and remember me of the good times..
There are no words to describe how I feel when I listen to this. A masterpiece that never gets old. ❤🔥❤🔥
Best trance song ever made?
This is a timeless classic back when tiesto was top boy, seeing him and pvd as residents at cream ibiza at amnesia it was so good.
Dit is de beste trance ooit
I saw Tiesto live at Creamfields 3 times. One of the times he accidentally hit pause mid-set and a field full of some 50000 people left thinking WTF for a few seconds. Fond memories. But anyway, banging tune. Shame about the newer stuff but we'll always have tunes like this.
Read the label. Ronald van Gelderen wrote it basically
He did. 👍🏻
One of Tiesto's best classic trance tracks. Epic. Long buildup, Long peak, invigorating.
Who is your father bro
It takes me back to a time when I was popping ecstasy like smarties.I got home and listened to this to chill out!!
This is not a song, is a track.
Relaxing on a train excellent tune ❤🎉
EXCELENTE TEMA DESDE CHILE UN CLASICO ....TENGO 66 AÑOS LO FUI A VER A EATACION MAPOCHO CUANDO VINO A CHILE
It's hard to believe that the man who introduced me to DJ Tiesto over 11 years ago passed away this month 4 years ago he was toestos biggest fan
I am so sorry. What a gift he gave you.
DJ Tiesto > Tiesto
R.I.P. DJ Tiesto :(
Is not necesary, Tiesto can be named Tiesto or DJ Tiesto, its same.
+Gutiierrex x He refers to the old tiesto vs the new one. Obviously the old is better he no longer register his songs as DJ Tiësto, just like Tiësto
I can't deny..
so true
Dimitris Karaoulas wots ya probs like ya think ya big and hard tiesto best dj going you wanna Fuck off back home
Danndock 7 years 😎
when tiesto was better and the days was better too .
This was and still is an absolute masterpiece.
Gosha Rubchinskiy Interesting, Thanks for the info! I've heard Klause Schulze too.
This and Lethal Industry are my two favourites from him. I don't want to talk about his recent work though.
one of the earliest Tiesto songs that got me into Trance genre
same here
i think Dj Tiesto -Traffic got me in to the classic trance genre. or maybe Paul van Dyk - For An Angel. or maybe Armin van Buuren - Communication. i don't knew it i think. but it was one of these
Thanks, I needed that.
одна из лучших композиций как в прошлом так им на сей день!спасибо TIESTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ты Великий,просто спасибо,что ты есть!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Согласен100%
This reminds me how music was born by harmonizing different sounds to form a masterpiece. This song gives me different emotion by its sound.
You are right 👍
What a classic still gives me a rush and goosebumps
I 'grew' out of trance music and happily went into a techno, house, minimal route a long time ago. Whatever. It's been many years since I last listened to this track and jeez, honestly. It's still a weapon. Obsession is also another great track from this era of Tiesto!
That bass line is the cleverest thing i ever heard in any trance song...it doesnt fit at the start but then it all comes together....fantastic!
La escucho y escucho al pasar los años y pienso wow que pinche rolon señor una obra de arte auditiva.
Classic, I actually forgot about this track but for a long time couldn't get it out my head ... Sign of a true classic.
Listening this on a sea bench watching dockyard in the middle of the night. Perfect for the moment. Too bad that Tiesto stopped making this kind of magic.
Back when Tiesto was God on the Trance genre . That era , nobody could have competed with him
This is one of my all time favorites.
What a super trance tracklove it what a legend tiesto is.
absolutely love this track. But when i heard the live version from tiesto live with choir doing the backing vocals woooooooooowwwwwww! Blew me away like nothing i had ever heard!
Adam Drew I wish I could have heard that. Must have been amazing.

Fcuking love this. 3rd degree gurns, chewing your face off with hundreds of grinning lovely people! Yeah! Much love X
tiesto please go back to trance....tis what made you no 1!!!
This is one of the Time that Trance has his high Level, an the Producer two 😂
I'm on it at Release Time, Thank U Tiesto 🎉 this is a Masterpiece! ❤ ❤
one of the greatest, love this track.......
Tiesto is a god, his early trance work is some of the most beautiful, well made music I've ever listened to.
Trance music will always live on
One of they “travelling” tunes as I call them🤘🏼✌🏼
