Do you think we will get anymore Tears of the Kingdom related news in the future?
I hope so… it direly needs at least a daybreak update or adding a Master Mode
Not certain but Mike odysee just uploaded a video of a patten he found that’s believed to be windwaker related that’s brand new 🙏🏻 let’s hope the bundle is coming. But to your question I don’t know why but something is telling me they’ll come back to this for DLC and surprise us all
They have already stated that they will not DLC
DLC for the Switch 2 re-release.
the game is done...people are stuck to something that never is gonna come by
As my professor from my film class said: music and sound tell the story.
What the Zelda team did incredibly well in is making Hyrule feel more alive and organic. Whether it is from the weather, wind blowing as Link use a paraglider, or fish jumping out of the pond.
Junyo Osada deserve to have a recognition!
Well, more organic, certainly. But “alive” is debatable. Considering how desolate and empty Hyrule feels. I appreciate it’s because it takes place in a post-apocalyptic Hyrule, but nevertheless, Hyrule feels empty and vacant.
Absolutely. I remember one of the first things Miyamoto boast about during the BOTW promotion was how there was an individual sound effect for everything horse hoof as opposed to a generic galloping sound effect one would expect. They really did go all out.
no kidding, it doesn't matter the context, if I hear that ascending theme journeying to the Stormwind Ark I get goosebumps every single time. Probably my favorite orchestral piece of music out there! Definitely would be glad to listen to it played at a live Zelda concert!
It's honestly no wonder that the game constantly is trying to nudge you in the direction of Rito Village, because the skydive onto the Wind Temple is easily one of the best setpieces in all of gaming from both a design and music perspective.
the build up of instruments and volume as you get higher did an incredible job of also building my anxiety. I dont like heights, so I really felt that whole part of the game.
TOTK was masterful project and not only in animation and direction but the music and sound design of the game are chef's kiss!
I'm far more impressed by the physics and programming.
Hyrule Warriors: The Imprisoning War is a combination of words that kind of blows my mind. Can you imagine the intensity of the cutscenes they'll make in a game like that? Gimme gimme
We really need a third game of "Warriors" series. Hyrule Warrios and Age of Calamity are two must to have it.
An incredible game, one of a kind experience... It actually took my breath away, just like BotW did. Loving your content, btw!
I really need to get two book: Creating the Champions and the art book of TOTK.
The journey up to the Stormwind Ark is something I've done 3+ times just to get that since if ascension and build up. It's my favorite part of the game after the descent into the depths to face off with Ganondorf which is ALSO amazing.
I like how in Nintendo dream they specifically said that his smiling face should be directed at Zelda.
Fujibayashi or Wes Ball?
@@a.jthomas6132 It was in the Japanese Nintendo Dream magazine when they promoting his toy.
@@a.jthomas6132 I assume they're talking about Gunpei Yokoi?
It was in the end cutscene of TotK but scrapped, you can still see it if you move the camera
I'm betting they just overlooked that cave and didn't notice in time to fully remove it.
The mod of Princess Zelda should be enough to convince Nintendo that we need a playable Princess Zelda. But I want to see more of her journey in the distant past since we have gone through limited fragments as you said.
Since the story itself is divided into two, a companion story where we get to see more of Hyrule of that era from Zelda’s own point of view and learning more about the Zonai origin. In addition, given Queen Sonia, King Rauru, and Mineru more screentime while providing more information about the Ancient Sages that fought alongside their king in the Imprisoning War.
And lastly, given more background of Ganondorf’s character. The JPN text shows that he wants to gain control of all creations in order to bring back the land that id once roam by demons and reignite the fighting spirit which the people inhabitants of Hyrule lacks. Learning how he master the Gloom from the Demon tribe and Kotake and Koume (Twinrova) are very important as well.
Those are the things Nintendo and the Zelda should’ve done for DLC if not for the cancellation. If not them, then hopefully some game programmer can make a fan made indie game that would give us fan some enlightenment and resolves we have been waiting since Skyward Sword.
I have hope they decided there are full games worth of content there... For example Rauru and Sonia must have had a kid, Zelda herself lived through the Imprisoning war so if we had a game in that setting we could defend the realm from everything but Ganon including Twinrova, have adventures with the light dragon, possibly explore outer Hyrule and the erection of the Sky Islands/barrier and possibly fight the first calamity/Guardians.
So in other words you admit TOTK has a poor storyline and you hope a 3rd party will rewrite it?
@@railfanningpoints2.045 it has a fine storyline, just threadbare.
They did almost no merchandising here in Canada - its frustrating considering how much we had for BOTW..
Also unfortunately that Zelda main character mod will likely get shut down. Nintendo is cracking down so hard on its IPs - to the point where they are shutting down anything Nintendo related on the Steam Workshop.
Sad that the stones are pins and not full blown stones. Rather have a full one.
Etsy is your friend there
I really want to have the sacred stones and the Geoglyphs shirt since I already have Ganondorf from Hot Topic
The one with “Please… lend him your power” with the iconic Link trying to reach Zelda really captivates me as well as plent of Zelink shippers.
I got 2 of the Uniqlo shirts. Light dragon and Korok design. The Hudson one is clever too (the sign is popping out of the pocket but the guy holding it is actually inside the pocket!) but I thought the others were lazy: just an image slapped on a shirt.
Technical info: quality is nice. The sizes run LARGE, so unless you like oversized I’d go smaller than usual.
And if you look where the sign is touching the edge of the pocket, there's an Ultrahand green glue glob sticking it to the pocket edge.
I‘m still sad that we didn‘t get a Rauru & Sonia Amiibo. 😢
Don’t forget Sidon, Yunobo, Tulin, and Riju.
A sequel to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity in Nintendo Switch should tied up the loose ends TOTK have left us.
And Nintendo Switch 2 would be the perfect way to introduce this game since Ganondorf May exist in the alternate timeline since the events of AOC changed the events of BOTW due to Terrako and Harbinger Ganon’s interference.
Love the dive further into the physics of the zonai devices. It is an unreal achievement.
I really really really hope that when you can play totk on switch 2, you can ultrahand like 40 things together.
It really is true they spent way more time dealing with the actual unique gameplay gimmick of the game rather than what we were hoping for: a more in-depth story and underwater gameplay...
It's still a stellar game don't get me wrong but it's not perfect
8 secret stones mean that Zelda's or Ganon's version was included, but only one of them (unless they left Mineru's out of the pack).
I wonder what the stones that made the 3 dragons looked like in their owner's hands (same elements as the current sages?).
Where is the secrets sir? Can you please explain
Literally, are the secrets here in the room with us. The Zelda content creators are really milking whatever they can from TOTK. Since there’s no substance or answers from our years long questions lol.
The masterworks better reveal more about the zonai
when you said the merch is only available in japan i think i died inside
I would welcome the Zelda mod with open arms. Would definitely get me to play ToTK again, assuming modding isn't too much of a pain.
You know those handful of spots were you can ascend all the way from the depths to the surface world? (the key one being under the lost woods) I lost my sh*t when I realized *that* has it's own song! Those lil arbitrary spots most of us don't use. Nintendo's production value is bananas.
the twilight princess link figma is also super good
I hope they will announce a release date for the official soundtrack soon enough. I liked the music quite some and would like to add that one to the one for Breath of the Wild.
On the time (7:46) on there is s very cool pullover showing on the left side😍😎 were can i get that one? I want it
One... I mean... ONE DLC bringing Kass back, where he comes back from his travels/studies with 8 songs that will present 8 challenges to be accomplished in 8 locations that could be mixed between new Sky Islands, Surface (caves or such) and Depths areas that upon completion, will give you 8 blessings to fulfill the 2 remaining hearts and small cutscenes or storyline explaining some events in the past and between the 2 games, with a final dungeon which could be the missing Rauru Castle with an alternate boss would be such a great thing! 1) The Sheikah Tech Disappearance (shrines, beasts, guardians, columns) and what happened between the 2 games; 2) The lore of Ganondorf and his 2 mothers (shown on story flashback) and why no new Gerudo males were born; 3) The creation of ruins (like Typhlo, mazes and Faron region); 4) The Story of the Zonai and why they disappeared; 5) Draconification and Farosh/Dinrall/Naydra story; 6) The ancient hero aspect lore and what happened 10000 years ago; 7) The lore and who were the 4 champions retainers of the stones on Rauru time; 8) Anything else related to Zelda when she lived on Rauru time back that could close any other open story left unanswered through the games. One DLC would fulfill it all as ot did not need to be long or too much detailed, but giving us a hint would be sufficient...
zonai stone merch? does like, a triforce exist. i want dballs, chaos emeralds and the triforce
Everyone told me it is called bullet time.

❤❤❤
This was a pretty good dlc
We need dlc definitely
I don't think the ultra hand mechanic will return to the next Zelda, but after all of the development they went through I wouldn't be surprised if there's a spin off or a new IP that heavily uses this mechanic.
Why don't they open their merchandise to overseas ? always japan for the exclusivities
`What is the free tool though?
Good, i don't play this both games 100 percent. Now im playing it 😎
funny how here nobody bashes totk like everywhere else.
yeah its just stupid they dont see the full picture
he said climbing with the b
Honestly, the lack of master mode and trial of the sword, kinds threw me off of this game. I knew I'd probably stop playing every day eventually, but the announcement of, 'no MM or trials' just immediately disillusioned me from the game."
I cant wait to open up botw 3 or hyrule warriors 3 and hear. "Secret stones? Demon king?"
Perhaps with all the sales from all this merch , Nintendo can use some of the profits to create a proper DLC for TOTK.
There will be more TOTK. Nintendo’s saving it for the reveal of the next console.
This is old news
Zelda nuts and bolts?
The uniqlo collaboration is just bland, like something you'd get off a cheap market stall, what a shame! I was looking forward to seeing what they'd do
I just want to move on from the wild era man…

You don't need to say those locations if you already said "Japanese addresses"
I much prefer the OST for botw.
They already have a game that lets you play as Zelda. Not Smash related.
While the physics is great, the rest of the game suffered for it. From story, to character development, to the world map in general.
Tears of the Kingdom is a lackluster game in terms of story and Zelda, but a good puzzle solving game. Less a Zelda, than a Tears of the Kingdom, BOTW. Having recently replayed Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Wind Waker: my emotional side is drawn to them, whether subjective or not I hope Nintendo eventually comes back to this approach to Zelda. Ura Zelda is perhaps the one midquel we never got in 1999. Majora's Mask always felt like it needed a Link or a direct sequel where Link gets grounded into the Hero of Time canon. Something with Vaati but in the Hero of Time era. Also: Wind Waker 2 was repurposed into Twilight Princess as Midna's starting design was aimed at Wind Waker 2.
It would be mind blowing and would surely rise Nintendo's stock if they announced something such as returning to Ocarina of Time as a remake, I'm pretty sure it's their Final Fantasy 7 moment. But what would be even more amazing is returning to the Wind Waker style and give us a new take on that style. The gameplay would probably be insanely good now inspired by the open world era's discoveries. But by limiting the climbing mechanic and bringing back weapons, Zelda would gain so much it would again be the fan favorite it always was. I hope Nintendo doesn't simply go by sales in the future but actually starts to care about the old fans who have been with the series since the 90s and some even since the 80s.
Did someone point out that the sound of this video is awful? If not: It is awfull!
Oot and TP will 4ever be the best.
How does Link dive in this game???
Oh right he can't
Nothing NEW in totk. A failure of trying to take back items from preqz. Clothes also. Thaz my take!
TotK = Minecraft 😂🤣
I don't recall minecraft having a realistic physic system
I think the last two Zelda are the worse 2 games in the series. It was supposed to be like the original game on the nes & turned into something entirely different. Almost everything that made Zelda great is gone. Including musical instruments which was always my favorite. I've lost all hope for Zelda & think they've ruined it. It should be obvious with everything that made the original games gone. Sadly I have no plans on ever playing these games again & hopefully can delete them out of my memory.
OK bro, it's not that deep.
And botw/totk does things (not every) better than older games.
I love the direction the games took. Just hopefully for the next Zelda game, they bring back what classic Zelda games had and combine it with what these 2 entries brought.
