Will we see a New Zelda game before 2029?
A sequel to TOTK where we explore lands outside of Hyrule and give the Era of the Wild a proper conclusion.
@@a.jthomas6132 no.
I wish the Oracles trilogy finally... I know, I'm dreaming. 🥲
....yes.
We will get the Oracle remakes in the style of the new Link’s Awakening. It will release on the new system in it’s 2nd year and feature a brand new 3rd adventure. The new system will release next Spring. A new 3D Zelda will be revealed at this time but won’t release until 2029 or 2030. The new system will launch with OoT remake and an upscale BoTW and TotK bundle.
I have spoken and thus it shall be.
I don't understand why we can't have both Open World Zelda and Linear Zelda it make both fans happy.
Well it would be inconsistent and the direction of the franchise would seem messy, I prefer a mix where you can go whatever you want but you have to do dungeons in order and some areas are unlocked
It can be all of that, one, the other, or a mix and innovation doesn't mean a game has to fall neatly into a category. The big main titles will remain open world but there's clear room (and demand) for more refined progression and presentation, which is basically about balancing freedom and restrictions. Meanwhile we can have smaller titles that are usually a more straightforward linear experience, either remakes or why not original top-down games. That's without counting spin-offs.
@@EtaM29 basically the windwaker?
I would personally love that… but even from a business perspective, wouldn’t that be a worthwhile experiment? maybe those who only know _Zelda_ for the recent open-world games would love them, too?
BotW-enginr Remakes of Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks would fit that bill.
Its so wild that the next big zelda wont come out until im an old man😭😭
🤭
Games take too long to make, man...
I think it would be wise for them to bring out some old game remastered or remake
ohohohhh what is santa bringing goat
6 years seems pretty standard now between major 3D titles so I wouldn't be surprised if we got it by 2029. I'll be in my mid 30s, crazy to think I've spent my whole life with this series.
development of Totk was completed in end of 2021.
True, but then again both Botw & Totk were huge open world games, so 6 years made sense. we don't know if the next 3d zelda will be as massive
so it could take less time to make than Botw & Totk
@@rowenn1729 It was completed in 2021, sure. However, it still released in 2023. The completion date is irrelevant when we are looking at the tangible consumer ready release dates.
@@nihilriv3r that means they started the next Zelda earlier than what we expect. Aonuma said that we would not wait so long for the next iteration
@@rowenn1729 I remember when twilight princess got delayed multiple times before its original release . While I hope it is sooner, patterns and prior experiences are going to take precedence here for me.
I’m not saying it’s not possible, just that I don’t want to put that much faith quite yet knowing they also have a movie in the works.
i sincerely hope they stop trying to make the games bigger and just try to make the games better
Real.
I keep forgetting we’re getting a live action film and get sad again
I hope the next 3D zelda game is a traditional one, just so we don't have to wait centuries just to play it like breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom
Also, Switch 2 would benefit heavily in terms of sales with having a new 3D zelda to come out on the system as soon as possible
Not going to happen for now anouma is sticking with the open air format
Vehemently disagree. Time and quality is what makes Zelda special
The gap between twilight princess and skyward sword was only one year shorter than botw to tears.
Seeing Link Between Worlds upscaled makes me want to see it on Switch/Switch 2.
As for a future 3D Zelda, I want to see a more concentrated world with more developed towns and villages. For example, an open Hyrule Castle Town akin to Twilight Princess.
Agreed. The 'divided'fan base seems to be like the old 'of you like hot dogs, you must hate pizza and hamburgers '.
We need to remember to appreciate the good, and give clear-headed feedback on the bits we dislike. And understand that disagreement shouldn't make enemies.
I agreeed.
Bring back linear story progression!
Preach
The N64 titles, OOT and MM are still the gold standard for Zelda in my eyes. It doesn't matter how much content you add, nothing can beat the experience of those two games.
As i recall, Nintendo said they had so many DLC ideas for BOTW that they decided to put them all together to make a new game, TOTK. So with that said, wouldn’t they have already started a separate mainline Zelda game shortly after BOTW came out? I am thinking whatever they would’ve been working on would have been delayed and updated for switch 2. Then they could release the game shortly after switch 2 release as a surprise.
Finally someone said it. I've been thinking this ever since I've played the Totk. It's high hopes though. I'm also pretty sure that while they build the foundation for the game, most of the team can't work on the same project. So it makes perfect sense that they've split some of the team for totk and most of the terrain modeling/writing/planning team for the new game. Totk didn't add as much new things as botw has from ground up. There's no way that the whole team worked on it for that long. Especially last year, when they said they delayed to polish the physics. That means only those coders were most likely working on it at that time.
@@MacatMovie What I wish too. Though from interviews it sounded like they had been really focused on TOTK to get it right (which to a large extent must be true in any case) and Aonuma implied that even if Fujibayashi had ideas for the next game he hadn't told him yet. On the other hand indeed the scope and main content must have been settled around a year before release, they were clear about not doing DLC, and Aonuma repeating that they had done everything they wanted / could in that world despite clear potential remaining makes me consider that passed a point, they may have decided to keep big ideas on a pile for their next games. Knowing a new console is around the corner and that inevitably a major title would be expected sooner rather than later to support it, it may have helped them to feel ok about being more derivative and "safe" with TOTK as a conclusion to BOTW and the Switch.
People tend to forget tears of the kindgom was ready by 2022 it sat on the shelf for almost a year before actually getting released. I seriously think the next 3d zelda is more like 2026 but thats me.
For the 4k remake of Ocarina of Time, a companion story where players become Shiek in the last 7 years of Ganondorf’s reign and a similar treatment as Final Fantasy 7 remake would be the best approach for Nintendo to go forth.
That would actually be pretty cool. Maybe something on the same scale as the xenoblade dlc’s like future redeemed?
Those words are poison to me sir. FF7 remake is the worst thing that has happened to FF7 and alleged "remakes". FF7Remake and Rebirth are SEQUELS to FF7. It depends on players knowing the first games events.
I don't want to be rude, but between the facts that Nintendo has seemingly demonstrated that they don't particularly keep attention on anniversaries, as they totally skipped the 35th, and the fact that even a game that was effectively half-made from tbe previous, and STILL took the full development cycle time, I'm not expecting to see another big Zelda title anytime soon. They struggled keep on schedule even when a fair bit of work had been done years previous, so if the new 3D, open world game is probably going to want to be totally new, I expect it will be a long time, and if they then ALSO decide to add in more towns, with more NPCs to fill them in, like Skyrim, that will only add.
Otherwise, I don't know what I want from it. I got along with Wild well enough, eventually, but I didn't care for Tears, and as a fan of Zelda since the beginning, for Tears to be the only one I started, but never finished, because I actively quit, that's saying something. I liked some mechanics, like gliding, and climbing, but not Ultrahand, and building devices. I hated the "story", and was mad at the sheer amount of potential they pitched, just to make gizmo BotW, so I'll have to hope the next one is more like open world Twilight Princess.
I'd love a new 2D top-down Zelda. LttP is still my ever-favorite, and I really liked LBW, most of the time. I'd love an updated Oracles set, or something new.
In the end, I know a problem is I am aging, and either longing for what was, or fearing change. I can't say Tears was bad; I just didn't like it, but considering I didn't, even after I did, for the most part, come around to Wild, and I HATE Skyward Sword, it's been a while since I just got a good 3D Zelda experience I love, so here's hoping! Probably not soon, though.
I think you fail to realise that from wind waker to skyward sword, Nintendo used the same engine, just modified to create each subsequent game, the same thing can easily apply to the next generation of games to, just a thought
Also skyward sword has the best bosses in the series imo, TP has the best dungeons, WW has the best exploration, OoT has the best/easiest replayability with randomisers, Majoras Mask has the best side content and NPCs
That's just me tho, MM is my all time favourite Zelda game 👌🏾
Don’t get me wrong but I enjoyed the game just as I enjoyed both Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.
The only mistake in TOTK I have seen is not showing more of Zelda’s journey in the distant past and content (from the first teaser trailer) where she and Link explored the underground cavern with the history of Ganondorf in the cave paintings has been cut off from the final game.
Since the story itself has been divided into two parts, why can Nintendo give us an interactive Dragon Tear memory where we have a playable Princess Zelda? This again is a missed opportunity they had not thought it through since Skyward Sword. Let alone the origin of the Zonai, a Twinrova boss battle, and give Ganondorf more insight/background to his character.
And like you said, story has been taking a backseat which upsets most people. I am no game developer but Fujibayashi and Aonuma needs to think this through while planning out their next project.
Any game they make will be amazing
I hope that the next installment of The Legend of Zelda will be as good as Tears of the Kingdom, or even better
We need an OOT style zelda
Game with the map of TOTK
🙏🏼
Yes if only the companies listen
I wish, been waiting nearly my entire life for another Zelda like OOT and MM. Twilight Princess was not it.
Speaking of Hyrule Warriors, there have been talks about fan request ideas about a sequel to Age of Calamity. And I thought the Imprisoing War would be a brilliant way to make up loose ends Tears of the Kingdom left behind. But in an alternate reality that’s created by Terrako.
won't be seeing it until 2026
@thererealjaystone2344 is that official?
@@a.jthomas6132
hyrule warriors came out in 2014
age of calamity came out in 2020
If they tie into both AOC's alternate timeline and TOTK's backstory I doubt it'll deal with loose ends, at least in the BOTW/TOTK and main line lore continuity. There's room to expand AOC's timeline though, or a great opportunity to see this Hyrule in its foundation era which we only got glimpses of in memories.
Nice video!
That is very hopeful of you. I was preparing myself for an announcement and may be one small promo picture in the late 2020s with an actual release date in the 2030s.
I mean, the big 3d ones take around 5-6 years. It's possible the stronger hardware might make them take longer, but it's equally likely that it could shorten the dev time since they no longer have to optimize for outdated hardware.
@@calvinbrinenestoris2357 I hope so. They would sell the Switch 2 a lot faster if it came with a new 3D Zelda game. That would be the only reason why I personally would buy one at full price.
@@MintakaSaiph it's still gonna be quite a lot time before we get one. Unless they scale back substantially, ittle probably be around late 2028/early 2029, with early 2030 at the absolute latest.
They'll definitely still want something big in mainline Zelda for the next system though, so we'll probably get either a new top-down game or a high-effort remake of one of the older games (probably Ocarina, it's the most famous and it needs it the most). Personally I'm hoping for a top-down game, but either would be cool and I'm guessing fully remaking Ocarina would go over better for them because it'd be a big epic 3d game on the new powerful system instead of something 2d, and because Ocarina is so famous and highly regarded.
i could see them attempt to do both, another top down, and a new fully 3d game. they do have the manpower to do it and each game type comes with its possible features the other might not be able to achieve as easily.
also, wouldn't it be cool if they were to release their botw mockup game using 3d assets in a more traditional 2d environment?
What the Zelda Team should let us do is create our own characters from a roster of the Zelda Races. They can even be NPCs that assist us. As long as we get to make our own characters; it could be a big hit!
They should make it a breath of the wild styled remake for the original Zelda games
Love ur vids!
oot done some what like breath of the wild would be amazing my only issue with breath was it felt lacking in the dungeons i want oot and majora's mask dungeons not puzzles half of witch can be cheesed... new area's on the map opened up after claiming "lost" or "forgotten" loot.
I miss the years where there would be only a couple years between launches.
We've had the following Zelda games since 2017:
Breath of the Wild
Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition
Cadence of Hyrule
Age of Calamity
Link's Awakening (Switch)
Skyward Sword (Switch)
The Legend of Zelda Game & Watch
Tears of the Kingdom
So odds are we get something this year.
I'm thinking they'll probably do a TOTK imprisoning war hyrule warriors
I agree but don't count game and Zelda 😂😂😂 come on, let's be real here that was barely anything lol
@@anon4305 💯% agree
I'm still heavily anticipating a remake of the Oracle games. Those would be lit especially today.
I would like to see the very first Legend of Zelda get a proper remake.
If they just finished TOTK with the much needed DLC to add islands, content in the depths and master mode, then I can gladly wait for another new one. This one isn’t finished dang it
Like in Immorals Fenyx Rising do that same online setup, but with Zelda!!!! That would be Awesome!! Lol 😂
2031 the 45th Anniversary.
I think there are ways to deliver an ambitious title without the same technical complexity as Tears.
For example, a multi-verse sort of Zelda game or time travelling on steroids, or a choose your own adventure story that is different each time you play designed for replay. Perhaps the former would require some sort of system for automating making the environment look different so that it doesn't have to be hand crafted, and the latter would obviously require a ton of different cutscenes and thought into story crafting, but neither of these would require the same sort of slaving over the physics engine like apparently was the case with Tears and Breath, yet could also provide ample opportunity to put an innovative stamp on game design.
What is clear to me is that the team is uninterested in designing at least a 3D game that isn't based on some significant gaming innovation. We seem to agree on this point!
bro predicted echoes of wisdom
I think it would be interesting to have Princess Zelda in a RE4 style Seperate Ways like Ada. If not playable in the main Zelda game. With Twilight Princess style graphics look, but refined
I think the next main line game should have a big open world map but more dungeons and the best weapons are either un breakable or the best for and away
Edit: also the dungeons should be in order and it would feature a very linear main story but open world side quests
i would love to play the breath of the wild concept game using the original zelda game engine…. any chance they could ever release it?
They only made it to test out some concepts. It was never developed into a finished game.
This is what they should do.
Zelda Ocerina made ground up remake.
Then to mimic the original release-
Use the same engine and assets to make a good version of a remade majora mask.
The 3DS MM was not as good as it should have been.
Too bright and weird changes
I need Zelda every year lol!!!
2028 is too generous lol, i was thinking 2030 at least (unless they use the same engine)
Which they most likely will, from wind waker to skyward sword they used the same engine so its safe to say we will get a new Zelda game by the very latest 2029-2030 :)
I don’t want to wait 5 or 6 years for a Zelda game to come out!!!that is a very long wait I’m sorry but it’s how I feel about it!!!!
There’s no way we’re getting a new main line Zelda game after only 3 years
A game that has both top down and 3rd person combat and then also side scrolling combat
I'd like to see a bit of a decrease in scope and expected development time in the future to make balancing elements easier and give us more opportunities to play new Zelda games, lest it become a decade-long wait per-game. Starfield already indicates the potential problem of a game taking so long to come out that it no longer feels up to date. Even Tears could be said to argue this point somewhat, plus we're all only going to live so long. I'd prefer a future where Zelda games don't come paired with a reminder of existential dread. XD
Here is my prediction-
Remake of GBC games both included with a passing extra to reference the missing 3rd.
Or minish cap in the style of Links awakening.
Then trailer for new open air-
Waiting
Waiting
Waiting
Theories
Remake again or new smaller game.
Delayed open air for a year.
2030 sees new game.
I actually kind of want a linear Zelda but honestly I love this franchise so much I don’t even care what they make I will love it
I also have a thought, since there is no DLC, what if nintendo will put it out as a add on game with the new system? It has been done with other systems.
The Legend of Zelda
We are going back to the first game of the series which is the end of the Zelda Timeline but now retold in open world in PS4 Graphics. OR...a Sequel to the First Two Zelda NES Games...yes I know A Link to the Past is just that but it is a different Link timeline, but focusing on the end of Dhemise altogether as well as it's incarnations. The Original Game being the Final Story was always what I had in mind for the LOZ Timeline but the Dhemise factor reconsiders it as Ganon will just keep coming back in future incarnations. He is kinda like Sin from Final Fantasy 10 or vice versa I should say lol Ganon is so iconic. A relic of the 80's. Calamity Ganon vs Sin vs Lavos from Chrono Trigger would be a cool death battle that should be done soon.
First off, where's the video with Banuune?
Secondly, hate to say this homie but someone has to-- dude no one cares about the next Zelda. Everyone is bummed. If you ask me I'd either cover your older favorite Zelda games or something entirely new. Idk man seeing "next Zelda" every video is painful. This is said with lots of love and respect, but I sincerely think you can do better.
That video unfortunately got claimed. Been unfortunate with those situations in the beginning of the year. Been using some wrong clips that have gotten claimed. Had to change completely how I edit in March after it happened for 3 videos.
@@commonwealthrealm how about doing a video on what Zelda could be like using the same game setups that Immorals Fenyx Rising uses??? Plenty of game speculation to be explored there..🤔🤔
I think they could do everything and have you travel/chase ganon though all timelines and then merge the timelines at the end with a wish on the triforce which resets Hyrule to breath of the wild
I'm all for 2D games, but the Super Mario franchise is not evidence of a 2D revival, it's evidence that 2D Mario will always sell gangbusters. Lest we not forget NSMBU of all games sold better than not only every 3D Mario yet, but every 3D platformer that exists. As for Metroid Dread's success, we're talking about a game that hasn't gotten a proper sequel in almost 20 years.
I hope they got for a 2D LoZ because I love em, but I find it unlikely it'll outperform the 3D LoZ games.
Imagine a 2D Zelda game where the whole in the fairytale book and not really connected to the timeline where Ganon or somebody new tries to rewrite the story and Link has to go through chapters to stop him. It would've been neat to see the option of multiple scenarios where you can have different plot points, dialogs, boss fights and even a bad ending where the villian wins.
I'm already saving money for the Switch "2", or whatever it'll be called. When it launches here in Brazil, I fully expect it to cost triple or quadruple the US price (PS5 is $500, here it's R$4000, dollar to real is ~R$5,00). I don't care how long it takes, as far as I'm alive when it comes out, I'll be ready to play the next main Zelda day 1!
They'll say 2027.
It'll mean 2031.
I think the next zelda game is gonna have a little smäller map but has many ways yo explore. But I dont feel like an game with powers like ultrahand and ascend. Just use new tools and I want to delete the purah pad and sheaikah slate. Just like hyrule field aviable little later of the game Just not instant.
Let me present...
The legend of Zelda and the spirit gates.
You Start in the air with links green clothes in a cave. You se like in a Dream or something ganondorf with all his power and then it gets black.
A spsirit called Sarah did com to you and noticed it eas link. She helps you troght the game then Just go out of the cave and you need something a bird to get you down but you need to free the bird.
When you are down Sarah is gonna say what you are gonna du next and then arter you had done like 3 or 4 mini dungeons you could open the spirit gates and then when you go throught you are in a world and now ganondorf comes and are gonna take the triforce cuase it is in the spirit world. You are gonna try to stop him but he will win the race. Then you see the triforce shatter and you need to do more temples and then deafet him in the air with the bird and then you cleared it. What fo all of you think about this
If a Zelda game that needs a remake is Zelda II. A Mtroidvania style Zelda game with classic items would be sick, but thats never gonna happen. I hope we get something completely new.
Do you think the movie could change the way these games are designed?
They could go with the current timeline but split up the map with water between and let say it went eons. Bring back sub water exploration but keep the sky like in 2011. Bring all into one. Still I like to see artwork of graphic, not realistic.
I figured ages ago that I can hope for 2030 and maybe be pleasantly surprised by anything earlier as far as big new Zelda is concerned.
What i think they should make a Zelda online game no PvP u can play solo or multiplayer story we all love zelda and I'm some of us would want an online Zelda there is different links so why not can customize your link put masks change color on some skins it's would be amazing tbh
Yep, like in Immorals Fenyx Rising do that setup but with Zelda!! That would be Awesome!!😊
202X? That could be 5 years from now. Minish Cap launched during the DS?
202X? If Totk took six years, we might be looking at a 203X release.
I think the zelda team should seperate into 3 where one team focuses on 2d then thenother linear and the main on the more open games
The problem is that there are so many Zelda games with an actively growing fan base. It’s getting nigh impossible to please everybody. If they were able to do that with a SINGLE Zelda game, it would basically take an act of God. There will always, Always be people complaining about something. I’m generally pretty open minded when it comes to games. I basically am just sitting back to see what else they have in store because I thoroughly enjoyed TOTK. And I enjoyed WW and SS, among others. I’m just excited to see what else they have up their sleeves 🤷🏽♂️. The Zelda universe has become so huge now that everybody wants something different. I’d love a modern toon link 3D Zelda game on a home console. We haven’t gotten one since WW but I’m not getting all bent out of shape about it. The way people rant and rave and scream online is very off-putting. Like have some chill.
Just take our money and give us an awesome OoT remake in return.
For the next open world Zelda game, I want a continuation of the Wild Era where Link, Zelda and the Sages (Sidon, Tulin, Riju and Yunobo) set out on an exploration of foreign lands outside of Hyrule by sea since Penn and Sidon’s wife Yona are foreigners.
Tears of the kingdom was finished two years ago. I believe theyve already started working on the next title. I think 2026 or 2027 will be the next new 3D zelda
It gonna be 2030
I think 2029 at the latest. We will not go longer than with Tears. The next system also needs a big new Zelda game before it is replaced ;)
Chill, bro. We just got a 6-year-developing Zelda game last year. We won’t get any new Zelda game until 2040
What language is this guy speaking?
I personally would welcome less ambitious titles interspersed with the over-the-top ones.
I would enjoy another top down Zelda game.
But not a remake or remaster.
Not even a sequel-
Just a new Zelda game
2d turned into 3d remake should happen next year then the movie and after that the next iteration maybe in 2027
Crazy to think I will be 20 when the next zelda will come out 💀
3D open world in 2028-2029 and top down Zelda 2025-2026
As I've said before, I think the next game could be another direct sequel in the 'Wild' era but this time it takes place outside of hyrule. Another possibility (and the more likely one) would be the new game taking place in a whole new era. It'd be interesting for the next game to be cyberpunk esque. The Zonai's technology could be used to justify this massive change in scenery. Ganondorf could possibly be reborn as a gang leader or something. I'd personally prefer same era, new kingdom.
All I have to say before watching the video to completion is that the next Zelda game better be a ZELDA GAME and not Minecraft with a Zelda SKIN!!!!!!
... 🤦
Did you reach completion?
😂😂😂Everybody watch out this man making threats to Nintendo
1000 Korok seeds to keep us going until then.
Just.... No, I would rather play SS wii with my elbows
I just want the TP port on switch that's all 😿
Go back to linear Zelda. We want puzzles, great writing, and for god sake, bring back the music.
Next mainline Zelda comes out in 2030. Bet.
4 to 5 years
I think the open world, non linear world has set the standard now.
Welp, I've been playing SS again. Probably going to play botw after.
Probably not until 2030
U made a typo in the title
The X is deliberate since we don't know the year ;)

My bet is 2028
I want another open world Zelda game
2028
Bet any money it’s coming in 2030
Great. No story again? If they pull that sh*t again, I'm not buying. They'll have MORE than enough numbers to make up for the disillusioned ones like me, but BotW and TotK are so incredibly boring that I didn't even bother to finish either of them.
... 🤦
Wouldn't agree for BotW but Tears was a huge disappointment on the story/lore front, combine that with me not personally enjoying the building stuff OR the weapon fusion and that makes for one huge letdown.
Yeah and you could tell when all they could do is smile and nod and say "ultrahand" during marketing that they were gonna gloss over good story again. I'm gonna need to be shown that I can actually play through a story before I buy the next game.
Nah I 100% agree and I've said it myself, never mind "if" when the next game comes out I'm not buying it until I hear what "Zelda" fans have to say about it, not the people who have only played botw/totk, I played through both of them to completion JUST because they're Zelda games, I enjoyed certain things but the whole time I felt like I was doing things just to do them, I didn't feel like I was in a zelda world, I felt like I was in skyrim or something but if it was a cartoon, I play Zelda games, not Skyrim, I can never fully express how I feel with these games but they sold 30+ million copies, Zelda is most likely gunna be dead to me unless we get old style 3D and more top down games again, sad to think but it's true, Open Air is just what they will do because its made them so much money 😢
@@CodeRed0Literally. I really hope the franchise doesnt sell out completely by the next zelda game
2030
Why do you care? You will complain anyways.
Finally
In my eyes Botw and Totk are TOO big for their own good, i felt so unsatisfied playing through them for the most part, i despise finding Koroks, and the story was handled so poorly in both games
The world just felt..... wrong, i have no words to describe how i feel about both of them, theyre good dont get me wrong but man, it just felt sooooo repetitive, the dungeons, the people, the quests the constant "Yahaha" and errand boy mind set they both have, i was disappointed by the lack of variety for botw and lack of creativity in puzzles and dungeon design for totk, the themes in totk were great, fire temple was the best (if you dont just cheese it like we all did) i could about this for hours but i have been saying since the release and playthrough of TOTK that i would rather just go play ANY other 3D Zelda game and yes that includes the wii version of skyward sword
This comment is too long but hopefully someone reads it and get it, ive seen a few people already playing botw/totk being their first zelda and went back to older games for the first time and said they get why people arent happy with the new formula 🤷🏾♂️ im just rambling i guess i dunno
I agree with you completely, especially the world feeling off, it just felt too gimmicky? It didn't feel like a zelda world or a story imho. Link didn't even get a backstory, it was hard to connect with the champions (because you basically didn't, the memories forced you to remember a bond you never played through yourself), the npc's felt like anime tropes, and it just didn't hit imho 😞
@lila6911 me and a friend were discussing this to some extend and came to the realisation that all we needed to push the franchise forward was essentially wind waker 2, that game was great for the exploration and its characters were interesting, not to mention how it feels like a more fleshed out "Open World" with a story that was handled 1000 times better, I said it once and I'll say it again, if the next zelda game is open air as they say but ends up being an empty, bland, uninspired, World then I think I may have to drop Zelda all together, I just go back and play ocarina Randomisers instead
Literally almost everything of what you say is an opinion, but you sound so sure of things you are giving misinformation.
