Got mine last week. And yeah its the air units in the tongue the digs in. Had to wear double socks. The cushion is the only thing that saves this shoe but for 200$ no thank you. Lebron 16 low is still the best for me.
I'm surprised to hear you say that they could be "ok" for outdoor use, cos as much as I love the Lebron line, my 17s just tore up barely after a few times on outdoor courts :/
depends the type of outdoor court, on rubber courts i think theyd be ok

The first month I played with the Lebrons I rolled my ankle 6 times and it sucked but the thing is that I think it is better for me because I’m a 5’9 188 lbs 15 year old and I play a little like Lebron so when I hoop in them I feel taller more explosive and more bouncy which my game includes that

I like the bounce. Good on my knees too. Got the Reflections. They are Sweet. Almost don't want to mess them up. Have wide feet. Went True to size since couldn't try em on. A bit tight, but should loosen up. I know I can jump higher. Hey-Nice Jersey!
I have both the 18 low and the 18s the 18s look better but the only issue is that tongue so I play in the 18 lows cause the tongue is more padded

@ 7:10 this is what I’ve been trying to explain to people when I first hooped in these. Main reason I don’t recommend these to anyone. If you love your ankles, stay away from the Lebron 18 lol.
it's odd that the designers would go through the trouble of designing a shoe with all the tech possible, and then take a brain dump on the tongue design..

damn lebron 18 have some issue with stability even with lower court feel, the 16's caused me some ankle injury everytime i wore that shoe. kobe's signature line is the most suitable shoe for me and nike doing their protros with unbelieveable price, i have no another option

@@apollox1420 traction out of the james gang wich is a multicoloway its great nothing crazy but it has a great bite on clean indoor courts , i liked this better than the 17 cus the 17s where inconsistent in some colorways
