Fredbear's plushie figure model was made by Emil Mack (Creator of Five Night's at Candy's). And the Foxy plushie figure model was made by an artist called Spygineer. It's unclear that Funko has ever asked permission from either of them, but that shouldn't be their fault since most of the companies that work for Scott just tend to google search and pick designs without checking it's originalities.

But they were okay with it, and we're fine with everything that Funko had done with the money. They just want the model to be successful. Which is sad they're giving Funko money for popularity. I feel like I recognize the Foxy plush design more exactly from something else. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the second I saw it, I had an undeniable feeling I had seen the exact design and pose before. Bus, since this video is a few years old, it's possible that I've just seen these figures before.
To this day I'll never understand how Funko thought they'd get away with stealing an extremely popular Fredbear Plush model let alone one made by an incredibly popular face in the FNaF community
@TylerTV Gaming simply using a model for an animation is very different from using the design of the model to create a product people will always be able to tell the model belongs to one person but ripping the design changes things

Funniest part is the stolen designs being arguably better than the original ones, I wish the creators had the means to make their own models- or even plushes with those designs! I'd buy them in a heartbeat!

I feel like its a stretch to say both are stolen models because accidents do happen when two different people have the same idea at a different time or at the same time.

Well, Funko's a big company, what did you expect? No offence though, although I feel heartbroken that they did this. Funko probably would've done it sooner or later Edit 1: I mostly agree with you that their Reskins, it's just the same but with a different character. Maybe Funko should make some more with totally different poses or designs. Like example: Maybe the original Golden Freddy from the first game with his pose before he jumpscares you. I agree with you about pops... with the human pops. I completely disagree when it relates to five nights at Freddy’s. Their models are all really unique and well made. Despite being characterised and exaggerated, they still remain accurate with the heads and body’s and go to insane lengths to really match the character well. Just look at the twisted one pops. If you don’t like them that’s fine, but don’t say they’re rehashed when they’re really not... with the Fnaf ones anyway.

It's a technique used to make eyes look as if they are following you! It's pretty cool, It's often used in fursuits too. It's done by making a hollow eye then just putting something quite further in the hole (eye). ^^

this isnt the first time funko or official fnaf merch used some of the earlier models as a reference, there exist posters that have I6 (creator of the first fnaf models) without credit. Even the Funko Foxy looks more like I6's foxy than the original. I suspect that they just use whatever image they can find on google instead of asking scott for references or, god forbid, the actual models
If you actually take the time to look at them side by side you'd clearly see the differences. So no it wasn't stolen . They may look a like to someone who briefly looks at it but thats not really because they stole it or something. When funko made an adaption of scotts design they did what they could to make it look accurate. Thats why they look slightly Similar because both used the same reference and both aimed to achieve an accurate depiction .

I feel like the box is a metaphor for how trapped the children felt while waking up in a different environment called an animatronic. They couldn't breath, see, talk, move, or do anything.

I don't think they stole from the creators for several reason I am lazy to explain. Edit: Ok I guess I have to explain.. So my excuse for it is that the style is just too simple and generic. It's the typical FNAF style but a bit more simple. Yes they might got inspired from the model but it's not really something unique.

Larry StudioS but I found a pint sized heroes of fnaf, and the display showed a golden Freddy without eyes. The other one on the display in the box was normal but when I came back, someone took it
this isnt the first time funko or official fnaf merch used some of the earlier models as a reference, there exist posters that have I6 (creator of the first fnaf models) without credit. Even the Funko Foxy looks more like I6's foxy than the original. I suspect that they just use whatever image they can find on google instead of asking scott for references or, god forbid, the actual models

Stealing models is something I'd expect from a bootleg, not official merch and definitely not from Funko.
If you actually take the time to look at them side by side you'd clearly see the differences. So no it wasn't stolen . They may look a like to someone who briefly looks at it but thats not really because they stole it or something. When funko made an adaption of scotts design they did what they could to make it look accurate. Thats why they look slightly Similar because both used the same reference and both aimed to achieve an accurate depiction .

Edit: Ok I guess I have to explain.. So my excuse for it is that the style is just too simple and generic. It's the typical FNAF style but a bit more simple. Yes they might got inspired from the model but it's not really something unique.
