    This video is super helpful! My partner and I have always traveled as a couple, but now we’re planning to take our first trip with our infant in the near future ,It’s a whole new adventure, and your videos are giving me some much-needed confidence. Thank you!

      Wow-we can’t tell you how much this comment means to us. Like y’all, we traveled so much as a couple and when we had our daughter we made it a huge priority to keep it going. She is almost 3 now and we have been able to take her on so many adventures, and these are some of our favorite travel memories. It’s not always easy traveling with an infant or toddler, but it’s SO REWARDING! And this St. Thomas Margaritaville trip was one of our faves. We wish you and your family many safe trips and awesome memories in the years to come 😀🛫🏝️

    • @micalebgoeswest
      @micalebgoeswest  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hello! No, the Margaritaville Club Wyndham Resort is not all-inclusive. All food and drink is charged separately. They actually don’t even allow room charges because the hotel itself is under different ownership from the restaurant group. So you have to have cash or credit card on you the whole stay. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

      Completely agreed. We ate at the Margaritaville restaurant and pool bar multiple times, so another option or 2 would be great. We did enjoy walking across the road to Coki Beach to eat or down the shore to the Sun & Sea Bar & Grill, too. Those were close options when you need a break from the Margaritaville food. Thanks for watching!

    How expensive were the drinks and food, since you have to buy all your own meals!

    • @micalebgoeswest
      @micalebgoeswest  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Great question. This was our first trip to St. Thomas ever and we found the food prices everywhere to be fairly expensive. We live in Orlando near the theme parks where everything is similarly expensive so we call it “theme park prices.” The Margaritaville restaurant and bars had theme park prices. Beer was about $8-9 and cocktails were $12 (but Happy Hour is BOGO!). Food entrees were in the $20-$30 range. Hope this helps!

      I’ve been looking into the seaweed situation in the USVI and there were a lot of reports of significant seaweed in late March, but I can’t find any current information. I know the resorts usually send out an FYI message to prepare the guests just in case, so I hope it’s not too bad during your trip! If you can’t find any updated info you can always call the resort and ask them for the current conditions, too.

    • @micalebgoeswest
      @micalebgoeswest  ปีที่แล้ว

      We actually booked our stay through a time share exchange company (RCI), so we used points to book and didn’t pay any deposit. I would expect that the deposits are refundable at checkout, but you may want to email or call the resort just to be sure. My guess is they refund them once they ensure the room was left in good condition.

We found lunch entrees ranged from about $17- $25 and dinner entrees ranged from $20-40. They also have a breakfast cafe serving coffee, sandwiches, and pastries in the $5-12 price range. Thanks for the feedback! We originally tried to keep up with meal and drink costs for our travel videos but we never kept up with it as well as we wanted, so by the time I make the video I don’t have all the cost info. I will tell you that food and drink prices in USVI are expensive everywhere. We live in Orlando where restaurants charge tourist prices and we still found USVI and Margaritaville to be expensive. Items like lunch hamburgers were $20+ and drinks were $15. But we got groceries for the room and that helped us save a bit
