I would like to see a video where she talks about getting started and almost like a guide for women to begin their journey to be a protector, no matter what occupation or level of that they want to reach. I think it would be great to be able to show a video like that to my fiancé so she can hear practical advice from another woman who has done it and how to accomplish it.

After hearing Tim verbatim repeat things I’ve said and done I feel good knowing I was right to follow my instincts and lead and guide my daughter in the way I have. Tim you are a good human and I appreciate you. Hope to talk and train with you sometime brother!

Be the "Helicopter Parent!" Let your kids know that you have the right to peak in on their phone and look at their social media, internet history, text strings. You can do it in a loving way that's not an invasion of their privacy. And privacy comes with age and trust. If you love your kid, you're checking in on your kid.

If you own it, a truck brought it. And trucking is structured on the FOURTEEN hour work day, not eight or ten. As a driver I have all kinds of people telling me "you need to" in order to accomplish what they say I should be able to. I've even been told to quit. If we all do that you all don't have anything, from sneakers to Glocks to Cheerios. It just gets old, and trucking is packed with vets.

I met a woman named Marta Kennedy in Venice Beach in 2014...she was an ex marine....probably one of the best friends I have ever had. Jesus Christ is the Lord
Acts 2:38. Choose the good, hate the evil.
Psalms says: God loves those who hate evil.

@@MM-eo2oz then 18 year olds shouldn't be in the military.
I can't understand how people decide when a person is responsible. Its completely hypocritical and nonsensical.
Some say the voting age should be 16. Currently its 18.
You can drive a car at 16. Cars can be used to cause intentional harm. Auto accidents kill more people than guns every year. But 16 year olds are trusted with this responsibility.
You can join the military without parental permission at age 18. With parental consent you can join at 17.
But you have to be 21 to buy beer and according to tim kennedy, you shouldn't be able to own a civilian ar15 at age 18.
It makes no sense. Its not logical or consistent.

My youngest daughter always scared us, we live rural but a fair amount of traffic and just three miles to the highway heading south to the border and one mile from one heading west.
She would always jog with her headphones on alone thinking because we are fairly rural she's safe when that's far from the truth.
We have meth addicts up the road, at least two registered sex offenders here not to mention all the people who drive out here just looking around. She was a easy target who wouldn't even know there was someone driving up behind her until it was too late.
Thankfully nothing happened and she did eventually stop doing it to shut us up about it.

As a criminal defense attorney in El Paso… who is well versed in every criminal aspect of the community… from both sides of the fence… Tim doesn’t know what he’s talking about in this community.
When my kids were young I had a test for them when they wanted to do something that might be dangerous… When they were old enough and strong enough to stop me from wresting them into the back seat of my car.
Over my 43 years of practice I have represented numerous pedophiles and child sexual abusers… often they are relatives or trusted friends. All others have been low income, low socio economic status perverts.
Human trafficking of young kids in El Paso is almost unknown.
The human trafficking around here is alíen smuggling… big business!

I've saved an elderly man that flipped his car upside down in a ditch while others watched. He could've died cause he was under water. My mother seen her neighbor go down in the front yard and she ran over there and started chest compressions. My mother also had stage 4 lung cancer and she is still fighting it.

27:40 - 29:27 Listen carefully to this conversation = can't you just hear every group of genuinely concerned people who started the concepts of the groups like the FBI, CIA, NSA, DOJ, the SS, the Nazis, Communists, KKK - (add all of the agencies you want that have ever existed) having the same discussions for "the greater good" and look at what they all eventually decomposed into. The problem isn't the capability to wipe-out the evil people of the world. The real question is how to keep the people who do the job from becoming the evil. Be careful what you wish for. Look at what 90% of the US government has become.

I see this excuse all the time in BJJ and in developing more advanced pistol, carbine, and medical skills. It's ultimately just about priorities. Most of his classes are around $1000. You are paying for use of facilities, liability insurance coverage, electricity, maintenance workers, and Tier-1 instructors from a variety of disciplines - among other things.
With that, you get experience, perspectives, and training that could potentially save your life - or the lives of others. Seems like a bargain to me.
All of us have to make decisions and/or sacrifices regarding the training we pursue - in whatever field (defense-related or not) is relevant or important to us.

You can still do more than just absolutely nothing. Even just doing a little automatically puts you at like the 90% of the population

I REALLY want to like Tim. So much about him is great: military, etc. However, he’s hard to like.

This man is great for what he does, but he is not a symbol for the person that you want to be a member of the USCCA. We teach regular people to protect themselves, Ted teaches people to be operators. He is not the typical person that would want to be a member of the USCCA. I am an instructor and counselor. I was in the special forces almost 50 years ago, but I am now one of the regular people, he is not one of the regular people. His training is for soldiers, not self defenders. Sorry Ted.

Tim Kennedy is not an instructor with us. We partner with him to spread awareness about the USCCA. He has no influence at this time for the training courses we provide and we will continue to provide education and training targeted towards responsibly armed Americans who are carrying to protect themselves and their loved ones.

I don’t think USCCA is trying to get all of us to emulate Tim (not Ted) Kennedy. Some, if not many, of his experiences are relevant to us as protectors. If nothing else, he’s very interesting. I say have him back on.👍

I don't believe you. If you were SF in 1970, you wouldn't be so myopic and closed-minded. You'd also have more respect for a fellow Green Beret. Instead, you whine like a petulant child.
Anyone who has seen a Sheepdog Response video of their training would know their classes are filled with men & women of "regular people" - most of whom are LEOs. Given the current madness in the USA, we all need to learn his lessons. So many petty haters on here.
