I would like to see a video where she talks about getting started and almost like a guide for women to begin their journey to be a protector, no matter what occupation or level of that they want to reach. I think it would be great to be able to show a video like that to my fiancé so she can hear practical advice from another woman who has done it and how to accomplish it.
I have never met a parent I related with on parenting responsibilities and philosophies. After hearing Tim verbatim repeat things I’ve said and done I feel good knowing I was right to follow my instincts and lead and guide my daughter in the way I have. You can do it in a loving way that's not an invasion of their privacy. And privacy comes with age and trust. If you love your kid, you're checking in on your kid.

If you own it, a truck brought it. And trucking is structured on the FOURTEEN hour work day, not eight or ten. As a driver I have all kinds of people telling me "you need to" in order to accomplish what they say I should be able to. I've even been told to quit. If we all do that you all don't have anything, from sneakers to Glocks to Cheerios. It just gets old, and trucking is packed with vets.

With that, you get experience, perspectives, and training that could potentially save your life - or the lives of others. Seems like a bargain to me. All of us have to make decisions and/or sacrifices regarding the training we pursue - in whatever field (defense-related or not) is relevant or important to us.
This man is great for what he does, but he is not a symbol for the person that you want to be a member of the USCCA. We teach regular people to protect themselves, Ted teaches people to be operators. He is not the typical person that would want to be a member of the USCCA. I am an instructor and counselor. I was in the special forces almost 50 years ago, but I am now one of the regular people, he is not one of the regular people. His training is for soldiers, not self defenders. Sorry Ted.

He has no influence at this time for the training courses we provide and we will continue to provide education and training targeted towards responsibly armed Americans who are carrying to protect themselves and their loved ones.
