Y’all have NO IDEA how ENCOURAGING & TIMELY this is. I grew up in the States to South African parents. So, I was not raised around blood family, and my parents were not walking with the Lord; although they grew up culturally attending church. They eventually separated and divorced. That said, this is giving me a glimpse into Gods faithfulness and His promises in a way I’ve never seen it. the fact that I hear the Lord speaking through your parents...in my parents accent .. it’s like getting a lesson from “home”!! Thank y’all for being obedient to the Lord.. praise God.
Ntate Jerry has always been my favorite actor from a series called "the line" and I met with mam Mofokeng when she taught me first year psychology at Ann latsky nursing college.. I used to look at her as this sweet soft spoken lady and wonder how she was as a mother.. Imagine my surprise when I found out who her husband was..💓💓💓

I'm from Zim, and I've fallen in love with Ntate Jerry's craft since the movie 'Tsotsi'. I must say he's a living legend. Appreciation to Ntate Jerry , one day before me and my partners first anniversary I'd ordered a gift online which had not pitched frantically I went to the mall to look for plan B , as I left one of the shops I saw this book in a little book shop kiosk , we had been participating in Mama Claudines webinars weeks before and I knew I had to get this book, the book has changed how we love , brought intentionality and vision to our relationship

I thoroughly enjoyed how we met by Mr Makhs' parents. It brought back memories of the early days growing up and watching how our parents expressed their love to each other. Beautiful and important insights. Learning to how your partner wants to be loved and just doing that is as simple as it gets. I really pray to keep this simple advice at the forefront of my mind.
I think this also means that we need to know ourselves and be authentic in relationship as well. Ultimately, I guess mutual vulnerability is key to this life long process.
