I think the whole “Waluigi Pinball being overrated” thing stems mostly from the track not actually utilizing the Pinball theme to it’s full potential (like, I’m pretty sure half of this track doesn’t even take place on the Pinball Machine, and instead is just on the slide… which kinda just feels like a normal road with the occasional pinball collision)
I personally don't like it because its horrible linear layout

While I was disappointed that 3DS Rainbow Road was in the 3rd wave and not the 6th, it remains a LEGENDARY track to this day!
Why would you be disappointed about getting it early? It also means we’re very likely to get Wii Rainbow Road in Wave 6, which means we will have two legendary Rainbow Roads in the same game

@@langdonledwig3734 Ds rainbow road is pretty basic. It works for the anti gravity with the loops but I feel like thats the only fun part about the track. Wii rainbow road feels fun for most of it tbh. Ds bowser castle is really good but I doubt we're getting a bowser castle and if it is a bowser castle we are getting, it's probably a double dash bowser castle or gba one.
We all know that Coconut Mall is indeed one of the best tracks throughout Mario Kart Wii because of one thing that makes it popular. The soundtrack. Everyone loves the Coconut Mall soundtrack so much, they made it a meme song. This track also became so popular with the community, they brought it back on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
The quality of this is amazing! Instant sub man. This channel is a hidden gem that’s hopefully going to blow up soon! Also, the daisy cruiser love is much appreciated!

To be honest I actually really hope that in the booster course pass that most of the future tracks are from Mario Kart Wii because there are so many good courses from Mario Kart Wii that have never been reused in later Mario Kart games

Regarding Waluigi Pinball, I like how it's not the only Pinball level in a Mario DS game- it's like Mario Party DS's Bowser Pinball, except without its unique track.
For my favorite Mario Kart game, being Mario Kart Wii, your choice of Coconut Mall is dead on. But i'm here to talk about another banger track that no one talks about. It's one of those tracks that you never hear about until you play the game and ask WHY HASN'T THIS TRACK GOTTEN A REMAKE!!!!!! IT'S NOT EVEN IN TOUR!!!!! It is often hidden in the shadow of the track before it in the Mushroom Cup, being Mushroom Gorge. C'mon, you already know what it is, it's Toad's Factory. There are tons of jumps, bulldozers moving on and off booster panels and mud, a massive jump at the end, conveyor belts, and a banger song. It's so jazzy and I'm always tapping my foot and bobbing my head when I play it. I'm not lying, if this track isn't in Mario Kart 9, I'm suing Nintendo.

My favorites would have to be
Super Mario Kart: Bowser Castle 3, up there with Rainbow Road & Ghost Valley 3 as one of the more difficult tracks but out of the 3 one of the more fun tracks to race on especially after it’s glow up in Tour
Mario Kart 64: Rainbow Road, while to people it’s the most boring Rainbow Road not to mention how long it takes to complete a race, but it gives me the most joy and happiness when I race on it (also as a side note but DK’s Jungle Parkway is a close second)
Mario Kart Super Circuit: Sunset Wilds, the whole track set piece with the setting Sun in the background makes the track look so unique to the other tracks in the game
Mario Kart Double Dash: DK Mountain, that whole is just one roller coaster ride of fun and I love it
Mario Kart DS: Airship Fortress, love SMB3 and the fact that it took until DS to do an airship level and having a butt kicking theme to go along makes it a thrilling ride
Mario Kart Wii: Maple Treeway, the Autumn vibes to the track layout to the soothing music everything about Maple Treeway is truly a breathtaking experience
Mario Kart 7: DK Jungle, oh look another jungle track that’s DK themed and finally one that’s based on the Country series…despite not being a crossover track but it’s track that I can get so much enjoyment out of from 7 aside for Rainbow Road & Bowser’s Castle
Mario Kart 8/Deluxe: Electrodrome, I may not have played the game since 2014 (mostly due to its terrible roster) but one track I had the most fun out of was definitely Electrodrome, with its techno theming to the fun track layout to it being a glorified Roy Koopa track it’s one funky track
Tour imma leave blank for right now as while my favorite could be a toss up between Vancouver Velocity, Berlin Byways, Singapore Speedway, Ninja Hideaway & Yoshi’s Island, there is a city track coming during the summer around the middle of July that’s making me hyped that I want to experience the track itself before deciding on my favorite Tour track

I find it ironic how Sunset Wilds here is the best in Super Circuit and is probably one of if not the worst in MK8 because of the nighttime removal
My favorites would probably be
SNES: Rainbow Road for its beautiful background and music, its completely unique track design (a very uncommon thing in super Mario kart) and the fact that it's the only track from the original game to have a completely unique setting. It just barely edges out Mario Circuit II because it that.
N64: Yoshi Valley because of just how many routes you can take and I think it's super funny that you don't know what place you're in. Bowser Castle is a close second.
GBA: Ribbon Road for its fun layout, abundance of jumps, and unique track theme (The 8/DX version is still better though). I do like Sunset Wilds, just not as much as this one.
GCN: DK Mountain for its exhilarating downhill rush and the stupid bridge at the end. Daisy Cruiser is definitely good as well, but I don't have as much fun with it.
DS: Tick-Tock Clock because of its unique theming and track design. Waluigi Pinball is great, but I feel it didn't fully utilize its pinball theming. It would've been nice to have some alternate routes or something as well, since the first half is just a bunch of turns with nothing interesting going on. Still second place though.
Wii: Rainbow Road because of its insanely difficult yet satisfying track design and beautiful music and background.
3DS: Rainbow Road for all the reasons mentioned in this video.
WiiU: Big Blue for all the reasons mentioned in this video

Super Mario Kart: Rainbow Road: started the tradition of amazing technicolor finales with fantastic music, and if you can snag a mushroom you can jump over that pit where the track splits in two
Mario Kart 64: Yoshi Valley: a giant Yoshi egg, multiple pathways, and to top it all off, you can't be entirely sure what place you're in ... what's not to love?
Mario Kart Super Circuit: Rainbow Road: so many ways to jump to other parts of the track, visually stunning of course, and naturally, the soundtrack
Mario Kart Double Dash: Baby Park: it's just a simple loop, sure, but the chaos with items flying everywhere reminds me of a child's birthday party
Mario Kart DS: Waluigi Pinball: no need to explain, right?
Mario Kart Wii: Toad Factory: the clanking sounds of industry hard at work really make this track! Exactly the type of place I'd expect our little mushroom dude to chill at (or maybe not)
Mario Kart 7: Music Park: as a rather skilled pianist and orchestra student, this track just sings to me. Pun intended.
Mario Kart 8/Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Wild Woods: driving up and down a gigantic tree will never not be fun, and it's fun to see the Shy Guys hard at work ... but the best part is the music. 5/4 meter is a difficult rhythm to play well, but Nintendo pulled it off
Tour: Merry Mountain: festive! nice remake in the Booster Pack as well
Mario Kart 8 Booster Pack: 3DS Rainbow Road: this is cheating, but I wanted to choose something different for MK7, and while I certainly enjoyed MK7's Rainbow Road, the Booster Pack remake is GORGEOUS.

For the next Mario kart game I pitch the course idea of Bowser Junior‘s casino. Junior has always had a jazzy Vegas theme so I think it fits perfectly. I actually have the entire idea for what the entire track would be like. Also personally I think Wii’s best track is toads factory and if it isn’t in the booster course pass I will commit mass genocide

I was surprised that you didn't put Mount Wario as the best MK8 track, since it seems like that is overwhelmingly the most popular track in the game. It's definitely the best track in the base game, but when factoring in all the DLC, Big Blue is my favorite.

Here's my list:
SNES: Mario Circuit 2 - There isn't a single track I'd consider good from SMK, but MC2 is probably the closest to being good that the game has to offer.
N64: Royal Raceway - MK64's track selection is a very interesting one for me. There aren't many I'd consider good, but the few that are good definitely stand out. Weirdly enough, Royal Raceway is my favourite, NOT because of the SM64 easter egg, but rather, just because it has a simply fun layout.
GBA: Lakeside Park - Super Circuit is SMK but with actually good tracks. While it can't escape from the obvious technical limitations and awful drifting, at the very least it has an excellent selection of tracks. Lakeside Park is my personal favourite - I love how the erupting volcano spews lava rocks onto the track, and it's always funny when you don't turn in time and end up getting sent backwards by the yellow ramps near the end of the race, after the big jump.
GCN: Wario Colosseum - I see people say that "if N64 Wario Stadium and Rainbow Road are bad for being long and boring, GCN Wario Colosseum is bad as well." And to that I say NO. Wario Colosseum actually has substance. And unlike those two other tracks, it was cut down in length FROM THE START. It didn't need a remake - official or fanmade, to give it a reasonable length. Wario Colosseum used its long length and RAN with it, doing as much as the track possibly could with the two lap structure... also, you can actually fall off in multiple places, which makes the track infinitely more interesting. I haven't really made a good argument for why Wario Colosseum is the best track, but at the very least I've proved why it's better than its overrated N64 counterpart.
DS: Delfino Square - DS is a game that I've always felt had an overrated track selection. A majority of the nitros are kind of meh at best, and there are barely any good retros. People praise Waluigi Pinball as a great track and while it is definitely great, there are better tracks. Waluigi Pinball has the issue of being a long track with nothing going on for a majority of it, and the only part of the track I find fun is the last few seconds, which is just a long straightaway with a ton of hazards. There's no shortcuts, barely any pits... it's just basic. Now, if we were allowing the use of remakes of nitros, I'd go with Shroom Ridge. But obviously, I'm not going to use a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe track. My favourite DS Track is Delfino Square for a simple reason: there's rarely a dull moment. You have split paths, shortcuts, shortcuts, and more shortcuts, the iconic drawbridge. For a track with such a laid-back vibe to be so fun is... refreshing.
Wii: Rainbow Road - I am of the opinion that Wii Rainbow Road is not only the best looking track from MKWii, but one of the best looking tracks in the series. And this is from the game with WAY TOO MUCH BLOOM. Not only that, but it also has one of the most difficult yet fun layouts of any track, and some real SSS tier music. Just... if you don't like Wii RR, you're either bad at Mario Kart, or you have bad tastes (nah but fr opinions are valid and don't let anyone tell you otherwise, me saying that Wii RR haters have bad taste is just a joke, don't take it too seriously)
3DS: Rainbow Road - wow, two rainbow roads in a row. And uh yeah, 3DS Rainbow Road isn't the hardest Rainbow Road. Heck, it isn't hard PERIOD. It's laid-back. A victory lap. But unlike N64 Rainbow Road, it isn't drawn out. 3DS Rainbow Road is as long as it needs to be. 3DS Rainbow Road is not a race track. It's an experience.
8(DX): Electrodrome - This track... is a visual-audio spectacle. Banger soundtrack (as expected from MK8), beautiful visuals (as expected from base-game MK8), great layout, and by far one of the best uses of Anti-Grav in the entire game. The green and pink split paths, which twist and turn around each other, allowing you to see racers above (below?) you, culminating with those big light-up panels making those satisfying bangs (which I'm pretty sure was reused in MKT as the combo sound effect) followed by a huge glide down to one last left turn which can be skipped by a shortcut... While the ending of this track DEFINITELY has some similarities to other MK8 tracks, such as Mario Kart Stadium, the rest of the track is so good that I don't see much of an issue. Easily my favourite track in the ENTIRE SERIES.
Tour: Ninja Hideaway - This does not feel like a Tour Track. The only thing that makes me remember this originates from tour are the turns that are WAY too sharp to make without smart steering half the time. Ninja Hideaway's constant higher-lower path structure feels like something out of a console Mario Kart... no, it feels like something out of a Sonic game! Ninja Hideaway is full of action, and there is NEVER a dull moment. The only real issues I have with it stem from its remake in MK8DX, being that somes turns are way too sharp or sudden to make at higher speeds, but obviously, a course's remake isn't being considered (and even with that considered, NH is still really fun in 8). Ninja Hideaway... is just a fun track all around.
Also, something a little unrelated, but with the three Non-City Nitros considered - Merry Mountain, Ninja Hideaway, and Sky-High Sundae, I noticed something that excites me for future Non-City Nitros. All of these tracks have a split path at at least one point in the track, more specifically, a higher and lower path. With each new Non-City Nitro, the amount of split paths seems to increase, with Merry Mountain only having a brief high path early on in the track, Ninja Hideaway being built around having a high path and low path for the entire track, and SHS having both a fork in the road AND a high and low path at the same time. With this considered, future Non-City Tour Tracks are bound to be very heavy on split paths, assuming I'm not overthinking this.
I know someone had said this in a form of way, but imagine also adding in Mario Kart Home Circuit and finding random footage to congratulate them for creating a creative track or doing it yourself

N64: Choco Mountain. I know some people don't like this track or something but I liked the charm this track had and it being included to 8DX as DLC looks even better
GBA: I have nor played this one but based on the Retro Track selection from other games I'd probably pick DS Sky Garden
GCN: Didn't play this one either but I like Daisy Cruiser from the 3DS
DS: Delfino Square. I like the Music and the atmosphere this track has. coming from one of my first mario karts ever played as well so its nostalgic
Wii: Maple Treeway or Toads Factory (I can't pick one for this game either)
3DS: Music Park or Wuhu Loop. its kinda hard to pick favourites for this game because I didn't play too much of it and most of the Nitro Tracks are forgettable here
WiiU/Switch: Mount Wario

SNES: no idea, those are kinda basic
N64: Bowser castle, the music and mistery of the map is so iconic
GBA: if we count only the original game then Sunset wild and sky garden get it, if we count tour/deluxe version i may add snow land and boo lake
GCN: daisy cruiser, is just so good in concept
Ds: Peach garden and airship fortress, played one in Wii and I love it, and the other is really good
Wii: I'm between Koopa cape, daisy circuit and coconut mall, i will pick that last one
3Ds: Maka wuhu, is so special to me as someone who enjoyed a lot Wii sports resort
WiiU/Deluxe: gotta love shy guy falls, that Andean style it has grow on me, also to add super bell subway, it is pretty good
Tour: I'm between Singapore speedway and Vancouver velocity, those two are the best city tracks for me, into nitro it's ninja hideaway

SNES: Mario circuit 2 - personally I hate SNES tracks and honestly wouldn't care if Nintendo stopped bringing them back but this is the closest to a track I actually consider great.
N64: Royal Raceway - honestly a fun, simple and decently challenging but not unfair track.
GBA: Ribbon Road - just such a cool theme, lots of zippers, big jumps and an epic shortcut. Even though the mk8 version is better, I still adore the GBA version.
GCN: DK Mountain - just an iconic, challenging and epic track. Being shot out of a cannon before navigating the tricky bumpy and twisty road back to the bottom is nothing short of amazing.
DS: Waluigi Pinball - yes yes, many call it overrated but to me it's a fan favourite for a reason. The theme is probably the most original and out there theme yet, the design while lacking in shortcuts is made up for by its windy, drifting heaven design. The challenge, the colours and iconic design are reasons why this track is as beloved as it is. Huge shout-out to airship fortress though.
Wii: Maple Treeway - absolutely adore the theme, the layout is challenging but also relaxing and the music is perfect. While coconut mall is a close 2nd for me, maple Treeway is the mkw track for me.
3ds: rainbow road - honestly, I find most of mk7's tracks pretty average but rainbow road was truly special. This iteration is by far the most ambitious, creative and fun one yet. The whole solar system theme works so well. Making it a sectioned track was also genius allowing the developers to do so much with this incredible track.
Wii U: mount Wario - just brilliant and another wonderfully designed section based track. Each section offers something new and fresh and the whole track feels like an adventure. A true masterpiece.
Tour: Ninja Hideaway - I usually am not a big fan of tracks with many different pathways, eg. Yoshi Valley, as there is usually only one or two paths that actually is useful but ninja hideaway is perfectly balanced no matter what path you take. It's probably one of the most technical tracks ever with a high skill ceiling that makes it a very refreshing track to play each time.

If I would pick my favourites from every game, then those would probably be: SNES Rainbow Road because of its soundtrack and Vanilla Lake 2. I know its not a good track but I like it.
From MK64 it has got to be N64 Rainbow Road. Its soundtrack is so beautiful, it tears me up.
My favourite track from Super Circuit got to be Lakeside Park. I like the concept with its erupting volcano in the background. Reminds me of Wii Grumble Volcano.
My favourite Double Dash!! Track is by far Wario Colloseum. This track is so much fun and it does deserve to come back more than any other track in the series.
To be honest, I don't get the hype of DS Waluigi Pinball. It's not even in my Top 20 favourites tracks of all time and I think, that DS Airship Fortress and DS Peach Gardens are better. I like the Soundtrack of both and I think that the overall layout of these two is better than Pinball. Hate me for this. I don't care.
Wii Maple Treeway and DK Summit are by far my favourite Wii tracks. I like their concepts and especially their soundtracks way more than Coconut Mall.
MK7 has the best Rainbow Road. Change my mind. 3DS Rainbow is such a beautiful track. It is an adventure. From the visuals to the music it is perfect in every way.
From Mario Kart 8/8 Deluxe my favourite tracks are, of course, Mount Wario and Cloudtop Cruise. I don't have to explain, why Mount Wario is so amazing, right? Cloudtop Cruise: I'm always a fan of tracks that play up in the clouds. And I like the Gusty Garden Galaxy bit in the Soundtrack.
I'm Including Tour in this. From the City Tracks, my favourite are Vancouver Velocity (because of its Layout and soundtrack), Singapore Speedway (also because of soundtrack and Visuals) and Berlin Byways (because of the Soundtrack, but also because I'm German). From the non-city Tracks, definitely Ninja Hideaway. If you played it in 8 Deluxe, you know why it's great.
I definitely agree with you on pinball has no shortcuts at all and is just boring. I somewhat agree with you on these tracks. But here's my opinion
SNES it has to be mario circuit 3 or donut plains 3. I'm including original and rendition and the mario circuit 3 in mario kart 8 is amazing for 200cc, a simple fun track. Same as donut plains 3 with the shortcuts going through the water.
N64 idk tbh but I really like bowser's castle and Mario Raceway. Rainbow road for me is overrated in this game like the music is amazing but the track itself is quite boring tbh. Most rainbow roads don't really have shortcuts but they feel fun to race on if you know what I mean.
GBA has to be cheese land. Honestly best track in mario kart specifically the mario kart 8 version but the original was really good too. The music has to be the best out of all the mario karts for me too or at least top 3. Bowser castle 3/4 are really close behind 3 because of the ultra shortcuts on the wii and the visuals being amazing, and 4 because of its stupid difficulty which I like about it.
With double dash I agree with you wario colosseum is defo the best track in double dash its basically a rainbow road but I think dk mountain is close. Yoshi circuit too because of how it plays on 200cc in mk8.
DS for me I agree with you but bowser castle is close.
Wii has too many great tracks for me this is all nostalgia but it was amazing. Rainbow road, DK summit and Koopa cape stand out to me the most. I enjoy mushroom gorge and maple treeway quite a bit too.
3ds tracks for me are all really good too. Neo Bowser City is my favourite because of its insane difficulty on 200cc with the 3 u-turns and the music is really good, referencing toad's turnpike, mk7 intro, toad's circuit and the circuit theme in mario kart wii. Rainbow road is close behind and Wario's Galleon/Shipyard.
MK8 also has really good tracks. The biggest stand outs to me are Mount Wario, Cloudtop cruise, Mute City/Big Blue, Mario circuit.
I don't know much about tour but Sydney Sprint (I have a bit of bias to this cause I'm Aussie) and Ninja hideaway are definitely the best ones and sydney sprint's theme too is amazing.
@@shrapt3528 There are so many other great tracks that I couldn't mention in the previous comment. I agree with Koopa Cape and Wii Rainbow, they're definitely Number 3 and 4 out of the Wii tracks but Toad's Factory is also really cool. And if we're counting new renditions of SNES tracks, then Donut Plains 3 would be my favourite. One of my favourite retros in 8DX.

Can’t really speak for SNES and GBA since I hardly played those games but here’s my favorites from the series:
64: DK’s Jungle Parkway (massive underrated one)
GCN: DK Mountain (hope it gets added to the BCP🤞)
DS: Airship Fortress (also hope it gets added to the BCP)
Wii: Dry Dry Ruins (another underrated one there’s like 4 other Wii courses that are just as good)
3DS: Wario Shipyard (another close one between also Shy Guy Bazaar and Rainbow Road)
8: Big Blue (Being a massive F-Zero fan, Mute City was a very close second though non Mario courses aside Electrodrome takes the cake with Mount Wario closely behind)
Tour: Sydney Sprint (Berlin Byways was also close)

Unless you’re talking about the 8 Deluxe version (a great remake) Sydney Sprint is very mid. It looks somewhat nice and the music is good but it’s just bland compared to the other two 2021 Tour tracks (Berlin and Ninja Hideaway)
@@VancouverVelocityFan Oh yeah I’m talking about the 8 Deluxe versions. I don’t play Tour mainly because I’m not super interested in playing it and also to avoid watching gameplay footage of any of the Tour tracks and Tour Nitro tracks so that they feel like completely new courses when they come out for the BCP. I do watch some Tour content but only on retro courses so I can see if they have a strong possibility of being added later in the BCP but that’s a whole different topic altogether.

Wii: Coconut Mall is great, but I find more enjoyment out of DK Summit, Toad’s Factory, and Rainbow Road, not saying Coconut Mall is bad, but it seems…overrated in my opinion, not dissing your opinion, I just prefer the other 3 more
8 or 8 Deluxe: As someone who never touched an F-Zero game in my life (yeah, make fun of me all you want) I like Big Blue, just not as much as something like the Ribbon Road remake (I get that it’s a GBA course, but I think you can make the argument that it’s a completely different track, based on how differently it looks and how it plays) I find the look of you being in a child’s bedroom with all the toys, posters, and the feel of the room makes you feel like you’re a kid again playing with RC cars on a track that you made
Tour: Merry Merry Mountain is probably the weakest of the tour tracks in my opinion, not saying it’s awful, just underwhelming, I prefer the delight of Sky High Sundae, I get that it’s an oval and everything, but people love Baby Park, despite the fact it’s an incredibly small oval with 7 laps, anyways, Sky High Sundae is probably in my top 10 favorite tracks in the franchise
