Tarot will litterally only show you want to see. That’s the strength of it. The cards are just prompting your brain. Great tool for self reflection and to some extent decision making, but not detective work.
Y'all realise they are playing cards yeah? The games called Tarocchini or Grosstarock or Königrufen. Games popular in the 15th century throughout Europe. And the cartomancy part didn't kick off until the 16 century when French occultists claimed that tarot cards had esoteric links to ancient Egypt, Kabbalah, the Indic Tantra, or ancient China. The nouveau deck wasn't printed till 1900. It's a modern novelty like an ouji board to tickle westerners fetishism for eastern mysticism. May as well shake a magic 8 ball.
@@Tom-lc9ni Yes they have origins in playing cards but that doesn’t mean anything. The way it works is each card has a basic situation, archetype, or figure that EVERYONE can relate to their life. We’ve all had a ‘tower card’ moment where it seems like everything is crashing down, the cards themselves *literally don’t matter*. The cards and meanings are only there to prompt your brain to make conscious and unconscious connections that it might not have otherwise. The cards themselves aren’t magic, it’s literally all in your head, just the power of human pattern recognition. That’s why it can seem like it can predict the future but most people know it can’t. Your brain picks up on patterns of behavior from other people even if you aren’t consciously aware of it, and based on that pattern it can make a guess at what might happen next, and sometimes that guess is right.
Ummm...that's not how tarot readings work. I've been doing tarot readings on and off for 40 years now and trust me when I say that you have a zero percent chance of uncovering a specific name via a reading. Or even a vague name for that matter. And, before you ask, I don't charge people for readings (unless you try to get me to do one for you every single day; that rates an annoyance charge).
You have a zero percent chance of uncovering anything, except a random card, which then can be contextually applied to circumstances based on the same exact psychology behind horoscopes.

Fun fact: Tarot card reading isn't necessarily some mystical practice used to receive visions or see the future or whatever; it's a form of meditation/mindfulness.
Ok, I like this take. I've never heard of anyone using it in the way you describe, but I could see where it could potentially have some applications as you described.
Wrong, it’s how you name your Stand Power.
I've been informed that you start seeing them as a side effect of having Keanu Reeves take up residence inside your head.

Look up the definition of the words 'meditation' and 'mindfulness' and realise that they are nothing to do with Tarot.
I'm so glad that "psychic investigators" are not in charge of our damaged justice system.
there have been situations where psychics made claims but not acted maliciously. like sometimes a relative of a missing person wants to know if their missing loved one is dead and they haven't given them false hope.

As someone who does tarot, people who use it to try and find info of other peoples lives and use it for actual criminal cases are so disgusting.
And are not a tool used in the court of law.

🌟spiritual psychosis🌟
This being said by a pagan witch, spiritual psychosis is a massive thing to be incredibly aware of no matter what religion you practice. My father was a Christian who still does have severe spiritual psychosis, and I've struggled with spiritual psychosis at times as well. always re-evaluate your spiritual beliefs to make sure you're not going off the deep end. Also, DIVINATION IS ALL ABOUT INTERPRETATION!!! Very easy to misinterpret tarot cards and other things. Take interpretations with a grain of salt. Please. And don't already have preconceptions about what answers you'll get, or your mind will only seek to please you.
Be safe when practicing spirituality and stay rooted in the physical world!
