- In this video, I'll show you the best way to install Google Tag Manager in Elementor . With Google Tag Manager, you can track and manage all your website tags in one place, saving you time and hassle.
There are two benefits to installing GTM in Elementor how I outlined in the video. First, it will help you achieve faster website load times since you don't need an additional plugin. Second, you'll have the ability to exclude certain pages from tracking, giving you complete control over your website's data.
Whether you're new to GTM or an experienced user, this video will guide you through the process step-by-step. Watch now and start optimizing your website today!

Wish I would have watched this BEFORE I spent hours wasting my time with other tutorials lol! Very good video. Thanks so much. Can I also use this method for adding GA4 tags as well?
Absolutely, I have another video on my channel showing just that. 😎
@hugomakes Thank you! Very helpful information! Can you discuss the advantages of using Google Tag Manager over just adding the conversion tags to the website?
@mrcleverfox The most important advantage is that anyone from your team or third party ad agency can easily add scripts without the need to modify code on the website directly. Another is that you can use the built-in triggers in GTM without having to touch code as well, which makes it very easy to use. Finally, some platforms have built in tags, which takes the guesswork out of tracking. Hope that helps!
super helpful. thanks
Glad it was helpful!
very good
Thanks
For some reason my home page works, but my individual pages don't. I selected include on entire site but no luck, any idea how to fix this?
Here is how I would trouble shoot it. 1. Double check both codes are indeed in all pages in the custom code area. 2. I would use the developer tools in Chrome and look for the code in 1 or 2 inside pages to confirm. 3. Check in GTM that you have the code to fire on all pages. If all is as it should be, clear your cache. If the code is there and not firing, reach out to Google support. If code is not there, but everything is set up correctly, reach out to Elementor support and let them know the steps you took to troubleshoot. Good luck!
I have a subdomains with same theme
Any way to paste in root domain and it will connect with subdomains or need to do manuay on subdomains as well
You would need to insert the root code in both the domain and subdomain as GA4 comes with built-in subdomain support . It is easier if you use Google Tag Manager though to implement. Check out this link: www.analyticsmania.com/post/subdomain-tracking-with-google-analytics-and-google-tag-manager/#no-cross-domain-tracking should be very helpful!
