The "minimum height" option is not on my version here. I just downloaded it 2 weeks ago... so maybe they changed something. Was trying to follow along, but that one thing totally lost me. I'm thinking may this was a pro version thing..... Still, the video is fantastic... I can make it work.. will just have to figure out how to work around that issue.

Whenever I tried using the overlay and gradient my image completely disappeared. I have played with it over and over trying to figure out why I cannot see the image anymore. I adjusted the opacity but regardless the image is no longer visible. I'm sure it's a quick fix but I haven't figured it out yet. Any help welcome! Thanks for the video.

Hi, Wes. Thanks a bunch for this tutorial. I've redesigned my WP site a half-dozen times or more, always using what I know or am learning. Elementor sits unused because I couldn't make sense of it. (Ummm... a YT would've answered my Qs. Duh!). In fairness, I'm 100% all-in as I build my microbiz after retiring early from teaching. Looks like today was the day to learn how PERFECT Elementor is for me. The building blocks fit nicely in my left-brain, organized teacher thinking - as I redesign for my creative business site. Evidently, Elementor has made some changes very recently. About a week ago, when I pulled up "Blocks", I found about 40% of them (maybe a little less were not locked). Today, I had trouble getting that section to pull up.... when I finally did... they are ALL locked as PRO features... I found maybe only 1 or 2 that were free to use. Unfortunately.

You're talking about hosting on wordpress, I never recommend that. I use bluehost for hosting, then wordpress and elementor are free to put on that hosting. (the hosting's less than $3 month when you use my affiliate link: wesmcdowell.com/hosting)

I think header and footer is must thing for every website whether its landing page or a actual website
