We have some great memories of Boone. We would get a hotel in Boone and go to the ski resorts and we would go “ Faux Skiing”. We didn’t ski but we dressed the part and hung out at the ski lodges and drank hot chocolate ❤❤

I wanted to say thank you for the prayers! I went to the doctor on Thursday and I’m now able to be weight bearing on my left foot and I also started physical therapy Monday. I’ll be going three times a week. I go back to see the doctor on the 24th to see if my right foot is healed enough to start weight bearing on it. I’m praying it will be! If it’s ok with you I’ll just tag along on your camping videos until I’m back on both feet and able to travel myself! ❤

I’ve driven a truck through Boone to Banner Elk, Elizabethton, Johnson City etc. for the past 16 years through all wether conditions and it’s still my favorite way to get to East Tennessee from Statesville. I love the mountains and all of your videos!! Thanks for Sharing!!

Although Chimney Rock is my favorite place in N.C. Boone is a close second. There is a nice Christian book store in boone. Big T is the perfect dog.
We have been staining our deck. We're headed to the Smokeys on the 3rd week of October.

We stayed at Campfire Lodgings in Asheville December of 2020 or maybe 2021. Anyway, its up on top of a mountain and golly it was single digit temps in the mornings. Very very cold.
Never heard of it. It does get cool in the mountains at night.

I was just in Boone yesterday(Saturday). I was surprised at how busy downtown was. We didn’t have too long to look around so I definitely want to go back. We came back to Bristol from Boone and it was gorgeous. It was very all inspiring.

My dad lives right outside of Boone. We visit a few times a year. You need to visit in July and check out the Highland Games. They are worth another trip. The fall is also gorgeous. Just stay off the Parkway on weekends during peak colors. Just subscribed.

It’s kinda hard to find the perfect campground. I like lots of trees with lots of space between sites!
That said, I’ll camp almost anyplace because I just love it! Lol!🤷♀️

Very nice except for the fire ring being so close to the road. Not much privacy thetr. Try some Ghirardelli hot chocolate, it's the best. Happy Camping 🏕
