@@AndietheLab It's hard to pick, I love the front looks, the performance, the braking and I love the character of the car and what it stands for, but If I had to pick one specific favourite thing , it would be that supercharger whining in track mode.
This car is the pinnacle of the front engine RWD platform. However I was just at an excellent outdoor car show in Elburn Illinois and, for the first time, saw a pair of C8s side by side. Looks like a whole new level of machine to me, finally. I was blown away. Still love my 14 GT500 but I may plot to get a C8 someday.
Debating on getting rid of my 2017 f250 lariat diesel for this car. I sold my 12 Roushcharged mustang a few years back and I miss it. I haven’t used my truck as a truck at all and diesel maintenance, even as a mechanic like me, gets expensive. Haven’t towed a single foot with my truck and it just hit 60k miles. I retire from active duty in April 2022 so I’m thinking of getting back in a mustang. Still contemplating!
As a mustang owner and fan i love where Ford has finally elevated the car. But i also feel its what shouldve been done decades ago. As a Saleen owner i know exactly where the mustang couldve been vastly improved up decades ago. And Ford couldve done it but chose to keep its true capabilities in the hands of the aftermarket and tuner operations. So. whats done is done, But now i wonder if mustang should take a giant leap forward. If mustang should go mid engine. We think of the mustang as a muscle car but fact is, its concept was that of a sports car, To be even more on the point the original mach1 concept was indeed a mid engine sportscar ment to be a corvette rival. but as we know was watered down into what debuted in 1965. So WHY mid engine. Simple longevity. The current Mustang could go on being what it is excluding one thing. its engine. make no mistake the day is nigh for the V8. An electric car is soooo much cheaper to produce than the cost heavy plumbing that comes with producing a combustion based drivetrain. something that is ultimately being phased out. I love the V8, but no one will love a big loud and rambunctious V8 being beaten by an economy box with a big electric motor. And that is the future here now and on our doorstep. So no matter what configuration mustang will be getting an electric motor, will it be hybrid? not likely as it only adds tremendous cost to the current build. so its either All electric which would lend itself to fords future E fleet or be downgraded to a strong V6 to meet emissions. And no matter the engine choice sales will continue to bleed because people are simply wanting a change for the new. Corvette going mid engine was a no brainer, shouldve been done decades ago, but at least they did it rite. The car only will see its sales improve with each future iteration. But as we all love the current mustang and everything it stands for, it too cannot miss out on the changing times. Going mid engine would only see its sales VASTLY increase. its performance VASTLY increase and its longetivy also Vastly increase. And need we not forget. Chevy very well may be canceling the Camaro. which means no less than 75% of its buyers will shift over to the corvette, and only but a scant few die hard muscle car lovers will begrudgingly go either mustang or charger (if the charger is still around). And Chevy could opt to uterly trounce Ford and Mustang but creating themselves a mid engine camaro based on the corvette platform!!. a slightly cheaper c8!!! For and mustang would be in dire straights should a mid engine camaro hit the scene. And it would make sense for chevy as the camaro has always been a product of hand-me-down corvette parts bin. I truly do believe it time for the mustang to be reborn a new as a mid engine sports car. As i do believe as good as it is today.. without some really great changes its days are indeed numbered.
How does the line lock and burnout affect your soft Cup 2 tires? I think the $18,500 is a bit high and the $10,000 for painted stripes is insane! For most, cruising is the most they’ll do so $100,000 is a lot of money just to drive to shopping canter. The GT makes much more sense! But like Jay Leno says: I’ve got more money then brains”!😊. Enjoy your toy!
I look forward to your inevitable review of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Super Stock. Not to mention the Charger Hellcat Redeye Widebody and the Durango Hellcat.
Hi, as a fur kid daddy (sadly now only two) I know my English Springer Spaniel will sit happily in the front (although she does prefer the rear) can you tell me if her German Shepherd stepbrother would fit comfortably in the rear. I'd prefer both in the back but I really don't think that's a possibility. As usual great video.
Your video editing skills are just so amazing. You keep finding creative ways to showcase the vehicle and it's always fun to get your thoughts. Mustang has more female buyers than any other sportscar, even so a chick in a GT500 is especially rare. Did you get lots of looks and random conversations with strangers?
I forgot to ask, how are the seats comfortability wise? I know there is no lumbar support, how are longer drives in that seat? Any low back or hip discomfort?
Andie the Lab best car review channel! Even better than Doug DeMuro. What would you think if Doug DeMuro started doing car reviews with Noodle (his Bearded Collie)
That sticker price makes my 2019 Lexus RX 350 seem like a bargain. I wouldn't swap, tho the Mustang would be fun to drive for a little while. But still, I'll stick with my Lexus and drive like a lil' ol' lady, lol.
America's pride? As a Corvette owner, I say no lol Trivia fact. Those carbon fibre wheels are made in my home country of Australia! Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!
Be alot nicer if Ford hadnt started pricing their damn mustangs out of the average working mans reach. 760 hp is nice, but not for 70 grand+. The mustang was literally made under the guise of a blue collar everymans car, now a fully loaded gt is 50 grand. That's absolutely ridiculous. I say this as someone that's on my 8th mustang now, with a 2017 5.0 currently in my driveway. They need to take a look at what Chevy is doing offering a base model v8 camaro for 34 grand in the lt1 model. Use to be that you could get a new mustang if you had a halfway decent job and good credit, but 50 grand for a 5.0 and 70-90 grand for a gt500 is laughable. It's a car not a house payment. I hate to say it but Chevy is making them look silly between the entry level lt1 camaro and the new vette. I'd rather have a 2014 gt500 anyway, at least it's still a manual and not an overpriced computer doing everything for you. Dont even get me started on the lackluster mach 1. That was the model I was interested in until I saw what a parts bin disappointment that is. Only thing going for it is the tremec 6 speed, which is the transmission all the 5.0s SHOULD already have in them to begin with...only took a class action lawsuit over that shitty Getrag transmission to get their attention. Whoever is doing their marketing and designing needs to be fired. Offer a base 5.0 with the tremec in it with around 500 hp for 35 grand for those that want a no frills car to build on. They wouldn't be able to keep them on dealer lots....but what do I know though. Oh I know that my next car after a long line of mustangs wont be a mustang, I do know that
Where the fuck are you finding a base model 5.0 for 50k ? Most 5.0 are going for 35k bro, they are literally the biggest bargain yet hence the reason why they are the top selling 2 door/coupe. No matter how you look at it, this car has tons of power value and capability, an average man should not be able to buy this especially with the stereotype of powerful Mustangs in the passed hitting crowds and getting wrapped around poles because any idiot with enough money could buy a powerful Mustang and show off until they crash.
You are too cute. I wouldn't mind having this car, talk about a Manly car. So, can just anyone jump into driving something like this or should people work there way up to this kind of HP? 450 HP car, 525 HP car, 600 HP car, than to this one?/

how do you get access to all these cars?

During the first 55 sec of filming the earth revolved 120mph faster!

Supercharger ❤️❤️
Is there any chance you could ask your uncle to make the next gen Mustang a little smaller? Lose a little weight? Thanks.

Who would have guessed that America's pride gets 6 mpg when driven spritedly and 10 mpg when not
Stop worrying about fuel when the car almost has 800 hp from factory
