I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *suluxs* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me
The pochette metis is more casual, casual chic for errands, office, school, casual eat out but not for special occasion you need to dress up. However the Gucci really look elegant in a simple way. You can wear it to an important meeting, job interview, a nice dinner dating at Jules Verne or French laundry. The Gucci is more versatile, that's also the reason the price is higher. Only my opinions. Both are beautiful for different usage. The Gucci look very beautiful and elegant on you, specially on the white dress. The metis goes better with jeans, and minis.💕

Great video ❤️ I’m a Metis fanatic, it checks all my boxes. For some reason, I didn’t reach for my Gucci bags, even though I loved their design (it’s a mystery) so I sold them last year. The Horsebit is wonderful but I know its rigid structure will annoy me and it won’t fit what I need. My Metis are like Aladdin’s caves, I stuff everything 😂

Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I don’t want to spend so much money on it now, I have been *yutulu* buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability
I think the LV is my pick. I think the back zipper and top handle make it more user friendly. I like the top handle for just picking it up from the car or restaurant table etc. Gucci is so elegant though, like that too.

I don't know the price difference of the mini but if it's significant, I'd go with the mini if you don't need extra space and have money left over for something else 👌🏾

The Gucci is so beautiful, but I need that back pocket!! I also worry about the wear and tear on the sides of the tab that slips behind the horsebit. One of these days, my perfect bag will be designed 😂

I owned the Gucci Horsebit, believe me it's more expensive, feels expensive and looks expensive. The materials make is half durable leather and half canvas, unlike the Metis it's only canvas and a very tiny leather material.

Gucci 1955 horsebit is just classy. I like the pochette and went to buy it but hated how it looked on me. I ended up getting the cosette.

Do you use some kind of leather care for the leather details on the Gucci bag? I got mine one week ago and I love it so much. Bit I‘m worried about the leather it looks quite delicate. ❤❤❤
Btw I have now also both bags. And although both are monogram bags I found the gucci one less more flashy.
@@Averageperson.. Hey! Yes I agree, something about Gucci monogram or at least the more vintage Gucci looking styles are more subtle in a way. I haven't used anything on the leather yet and havent noticed any wear..I will keep you posted if I notice anything
@@fancyfrugalfashion Ok thank you. When I went to the boutique I said no to two bags. The one had a faulty closure mechnism it was too lose so the flap did not stay in place. The other one has somehow a wonky bottom and wanky sides. The third was finally nearly perfect. Bit all three had one or two little scuffs. The one I took home with me had already two little scuffs. The leather is so delicate. When a scuff comes in it looks a little bit less shiny on that area. And I haven‘t found a way to get the scuffs out. I guess after a short time of use there will be many less shiny small areas on the leather. Everyone is talking about Louis Vuitton bad quality control but I think with other brands its the same.

Does the canvas on the Gucci bag easily get stained?

Two very different bags. I prefer the Gucci and I’m not really a Gucci or LV fan! The Gucci monogram looks more neutral and elegant.

Would you say GG canvas is more durable than LV canvas? Which stains more easily?
I fortunately haven't experienced staining from either, both canvases can be wiped with a wet wipe no problem..well the ones I use don't have harsh chemicals so wipes similar to that..In regards to durablity..this is a good question l. I would say they are similar but I will pay closee attention and do a separate video on this..stay tuned! Thank you for tuning in and your question!
And one last thing. I get sooooo irritated when YT’ers and others say things like “don’t by a Neverfull because its so basic and everyone has one and half of them are fake “.

There is no comparison in my mind. I had the LV pochette Métis and the buckle never closes properly. I’ve seen the Gucci bag in person many times and it’s way more beautiful and less cheap looking for sure .

Horsebit > Pochette Metis, but i prefer a removable strap over a non-removable one
Hey! The smaller version of the horsebit gives you that removable strap..I think is the Gucci stripe cloth strap too
