Basic box is foundational for every person who wants to couple dance. I know a couple (over eighty years old) who dance the basic box to every song. Amazing! That means they can use the box step to dance tango, samba and quick step. As long as the lady follows, and the leader keeps true to the beat he hears, this worked for them.

Reminiscing the moment when I was taught waltz by a Russian lady who had come to India to learn Indian classical dance bharatnatyam...An amazing graceful lady who taught minute basic details even where the placement of the hand should be 😍❤️

Wow This is the MAN! I worked overtime, saved my pay..bought a 1937 morris 8 winter 1961 ..travelled 50 miles each thursday to dance class in a city, yeah got quite OK But kept it REAL close from my workmates (hard drinking toughs ,it was a heavy engineering workshop) ....then somehow the word got round...young Dick was dancing! ... IN ALL THAT WORKSHOP of HARD MEN .... I NEVER GOT 1 HARD COMMENT!!! That was all 60 years back....what I could have learned from a teacher like this GREAT instructor ... when I can get my knees fixed I shall be back on the floor .thanks for reawakening an old guy!!

I'm a 70 year old baby boomer I absolutely love ballroom dancing you know like dancing with the Stars it's just so incredible I prefer watching the newbies with the Stars because that could be one of us rather than watching the professionals to me they're too to me they're too they're too professional it's like they're they're wanting to be so good competition wise that they don't to me or not relaxing that's the best word I can come up with that being said this guy is not only a good teacher he's pretty he's nice to look at and I'm teasing he's a nice looking young man but yeah he did a great job teaching them and now it's a matter of practice with music it's awesome so I just wanted to commend him I'm going to find out his name in a minute here but awesome awesome job very good teacher
