You are my hero. Spent 2 days trying to get a new SSD to work in a E6400 that kept saying "no hard drive present". About to send it back as faulty until I saw about 3.40 minutes in your tutorial that you had trouble mounting the drive. I checked mine to find the drive connector was also going underneath, and not into, the internal connector. My fix, sit the machine on its feet and then gently push in the new drive until you feel it engage in the connector. As I type it is loading Win10, how did I overlooked that simple issue, thank you.
