It would be really nice if you gave Lauren some voice lines for certain triggered events like discovering Kate’s room. I think it really add to the authenticity or immersion of the game. Maybe even some screams from her to add to the horror
Lauren having a voice would certainly be a new standard for Slender games. Another thing that would be a neat addition is "first-person" character model, but that would be a pipe dream!
It would be nice to have Lauren get dialogue throughout the game, same with CR having more dialogue during Homestead, along with new levels to expand the story of Slender: The Arrival.
I honestly think lauren as a silent protagonist is better because it lets the player decide what she's saying and thinking
I would disagree just because I usually don't find it helpful to the mood when the character repeats what I'm already thinking in my head

Sad how little traction this is getting but it only reasserts the fact that Slenderman and Slender are a bygone era of the creepypasta and indie horror scenes, respectively. Still though, this deserves way more attention.

The problem is that this update is really unsubstantial. If they added a whole new story or something, then people would be talking.
This is just a graphics overhaul, it might as well be a mod.

I seriously hope this game will spark a new wave of Slender content for the next few years, I really think the character still has so much potential to be scary even in current day. Can’t wait to see this man return to the forests once more!

I was 14 years old back when Slender: The Arrival released. GREAT times! I have a lot of great memories thanks to this game. I'm so looking forward to this update!

I remember back in 2013 I was scared of the Creepypasta stories which were Slenderman. But Slenderman was the only character that doesn't scare me since it has no face. And I remember Playing slender on my laptop and it was the best horror game.
And 10 years later: This masterpiece has been revived. Thank you Blue Isle Studios for the Remake and the new Sequel S: Lost Chapters. (Yes there's a Sequel check in steam)

Just one thing, is this version not gonna have the camera HUD? That’s one thing I really liked about the original and it would be a shame if this one didn’t have it.
Yeah it gave the vibe that those old Webseries about Slender had like TribeTwelve, EverymanHYBRID and Marble Hornets (i know Marble Hornets doesn't have Slender as an character just the Operator)

Jesus Christ... this is absolutely freaking incredible. The graphics look SO MUCH BETTER than they did in the original game, looking much more photo-realistic, and the environments themselves seem to have been remodeled somewhat as well, so it isn't just the same 3D models for the environment with better textures this time around. I'm unbelievably hyped for this - as anyone who's seen my channel knows, _Slender: The Arrival_ is such an important horror game to me, and seeing it get redone on the Unreal Engine 5.2 is just a dream come true for me. I can't wait!!! 😁
I'm so excited to replay this game again! Also S: Lost Chapters looks really interesting, I didn't expect a whole new project as well, I'm hyped!
Crap, I've played the full game (I actually have a playthrough on my channel), watched Markiplier play it, and it's waited for news on this game for years. But am I confused? Lost Pages, you saying a new game? Or is that one of the chapters in the actual game that I might be forgetting, could entirely be the 8 Pages section after the opening sequence and I might just be dumb but we'll see! Can't wait for this update and will definitely be playing this

This is such a brilliant display of what a genuinely dedicated developer looks like.
Even after a DECADE, going back to make significant improvements and changes.
More studios need to follow suit.

@@Termulus Yeah, you’re right, but baby face mark played Slender: The Arrival the most. He made 11 gameplay videos of it as his baby self and only 1 as his older self.

I remember watching this game's development progress closely, downloading and playing every demo. "Slender: The Arrival" is easily the BEST Slenderman content in the entire media. And now it's going to become even better. Looking forward to it!

As everyone else is saying, I'm so happy to see this! Got a bunch of lovely memories of playing and watching others play this game back in the day, so I'm super excited to hop back into it.

im genuinely so excited for this i CANNOT WAIT, its so much better because it releases in my birthday month, my favorite game is getting an update in my birthday month after so many years, i could not ask for anything more
Improvements I think would be good for this update:
#1: Add some voice lines for Lauren (not a lot, just enough for her to feel like a character; not just a player insert protagonist).
#2: New scrapbook additions (printed emails, diary entries, letters, ect) to give more lore to the story.
#3: Give Charlie some creepy, childish voice lines.
#4: A gallery to show concept art, character models and behind the scenes stuff.
#5: (Probably wont happen, but I can dream) A co-op mode where one player controls Slender Man, The Chaser or Charlie against another player.
The older version of the had a beautiful but unnatural vibe. This one seems to go for the alien grim aesthetic and I like it. My only issue with this is how Slender seems a little shorter

Slender: The Arrival was such an amazing horror game. The atmosphere, the story, the lighting effects...everything was so incredibly well done. Glad to see it's gonna receive a new look and i hope it also brings Slender back to the spotlight. Congratz Blue Isle
Man I'm so freaking hyped for this. The Eight Pages was such a staple of my childhood and was essential in forming my current taste and sense for horror media. I couldn't play The Arrival for several years, but when I did it I was so entranced by the production value and the hypnotizing atmosphere I almost cried remembering the old days at the height of Slender Man mythos. To me, it's up there in the first tier of great atmospheric horror games, along with the likes of Outlast and Firewatch. I see I'm about to be driven to tears once again, it looks so good... 🥺
Please ensure this also gets released via the Mac App Store, and not just for Windows. All Macs since 2020 are AAA gaming machines now.
Absolutely impeccable graphics, it feels so good to see it looking triple A. Arrival is my favorite and I'm excited to see how different Kate looks.

I was just talking about this game today on my stream, I totally missed hearing about the update! Excited to check it out.
There's speculation that Slender could be coming to Dead By Daylight as a new Killer this year on not this coming chapter but the following which is meant to release this November. The timing makes sense, so not only will this be a masterpiece, but it could be released just before a Slender DbD chapter as well?? 👀

The new graphics look insane and the trailer is very well made! But I do want to ask, is it just me or did Slender get shorter? Also I feel like the more developed facial features replacing the odd and terrifying, almost scrambled facial features/wrinkles as well as his more "human-like" pose instead of the straight legs and arms make him less intimidating? That might just be me however.
For reference I'm using the close up at 0:56 - 0:57 where you get the best shot of him.
Also, I do not mean to seem dissatisfied with the announcement or the looks of the game, I only want to make remarks that others might agree with and that can help make the game even scarier than it could be, since this game is part of my childhood and I want this update to be absolute perfection

Everything looks beautiful, especially the graphic component, but one thing is not clear, why is Slenderman so short? In the original (2013) it was many times higher than what we get in the remake. I would very strongly focus on this, since Slenderman literally translates as a thin person, and here he looks at a maximum of 1 meter 80 centimeters. I still hope that the developers will see this and fix the error, because if Slender is so small in the final version of the game, then it will be like a very strange decision.

The player was standing on a hill making slenderman look tiny, in the original game (2013) slenderman wasn’t even that tall and looks the same size

This trailer impressed me very much *0*♥♥♥ The graphics are gorgeous, so much so that I want to take screenshots and put them on my desktop PC
The only thing that confused me a bit was Slender himself, who according to the trailer is shorter and as if they tried to humanize him. It's a shiny suit and it's like it's not the right size for him.
But as I said - the trailer was very impressive and even scary in many places, especially the moment when the main character enters the house
