It's easy to think the way you are thinking here. But just imagine the police suddenly decided YOU are the one who did it (these particular victims.... instead of Grossman, they say it was YOU).
Imagine people calling you a psychopath for denying you had anything to do with it. It only sounds callus because you believe she did it.
In this particular case, I think she did it and she knows she did it and wants to evade the punishment. But denying responsibility for something does not mean you are unsympathetic to others.

Hey lady! That’s not how things work with a trial.
A jury is, as far as is possible, impartial. Heard of that? Understand that?
Jurors listen to THE EVIDENCE. Heard of that? Understand that?
They did this in YOUR TRIAL and BASED ON ALL THE EVIDENCE BEFORE THEM found you GUILTY of KILLING TWO YOUNG BOYS. In YOUR CAR WHICH YOU WERE DRIVING AT HIGH SPEED. The boys and their mother were on the pedestrian crossing. You know, that place where DRIVERS are mandated and expected to stop to allow pedestrians to SAFELY cross the road.
THIS FAMILY DID NOT STAND A CHANCE.
But you chose, by deliberately speeding, to put yourself in the situation WHEREBY YOU CRUELLY TOOK THE LIVES OF TWO TREASURED LITTLE CHILDREN.
      SHAME SHAME SHAME ON YOU.
But it’s all about YOU YOU YOU isn’t it 🤮
      Good luck with sentencing 😁
Your antics to date with your trying to get out of your sentence BY SERIOUSLY DEVIOUS AND ILLEGAL METHODS will come in handy when the sentencing judge is making their decision.
      Boo Hoo Baby 😂😂😂

Because I got lucky, they were convicted of the lesser crime. Since I flew through the air and landed on the sidewalk, I logically should have been killed or paralyzed. I think pretty much every vehicle DOES have black boxes to record data. You just don't hear about it because it's rarely reported on or accessed except for serious accidents. My 2003 (21 year old vehicle) Chevy pickup had it. I only found out after I was seriously injured in a head on collision and during the investigation by my lawyer he had to get my permission for the police to get the data off my black box, and it wasn't cheap either. Had to pay several hundred dollars to get the data. Maybe not as indepth data as they record nowadays, but it did show exactly how fast my vehicle was going at time of impact and leading up to it as well as braking data.

We raised our kids in the Conejo Valley. We sold out in 2022 with zero regret. So many people. So many cars. Big, wide boulevards. More money around than brains. And everybody on the gas as hard as they can go. No enforcement in sight. I once went to a community meeting in my unincorporated neighborhood. A CHP officer was present and opened his time at the meeting with “I’m not taking any questions about speed enforcement. Everyone has speed enforcement complaints.” I stood up and walked out.

After that that no more than 3 days ago I was at an intersection where two people Stone ass ran the red light while a cop was sitting in the turn lane to make a left turn. Nothing. I originally came from Colorado where if you didn't signal for a turn or even a lane change you would get pulled over and ticketed most likely. But down here where I live now you practically have to drive your car into a cop to get their attention and a possible ticket.

It would be interesting to find out why they didn't enforce the speed limits, maybe they know it's not effective against the rich as a deterrent? As a poor I hate that citation fees are not based on wealth. I think they should be a percentage value of the vehicle you are driving.

She's 60, which almost makes it worse since most people gain some depth and insight with age. She seems to have lived her life in a bubble where negative consequences for irresponsible actions don't exist...at least not for her. It's uncommon for a person to live that long without experiencing loss or tragedy of some sort; perhaps her self-absorption is so complete, she just didn't notice or care enough to learn from the experience.

When I was a kid I was crossing a cross walk with my grandmother. The next I knew my grandma grabbed me and pushed me backwards hard. As she did that a huge car came flying through the cross walk. She literally saved my life that day. Or I would have been one those poor children.

A friend of mine was left permanently disabled, has lifelong almost unbearable and constant pain and suffering and was nearly killed when a person was test driving a high performance car for a magazine she worked for. My friend and her husband had gone for a drive in the beautiful winding roads of Napa County, CA near Lake Berryessa when this woman crossed over the double line and hit them head-on at high speed. At least this woman expressed great regret and apologized. If my friend had been a couple of inches taller, she would have had massive head injuries. I can’t imagine that mother’s heartache losing two sons almost in an instant. People are so crazy reckless and life is so fragile. I hope this woman stays in jail for the rest of her life.

personally I feel that in many situations like this people know exactly what they did, and aren't truly deceiving themselves, its more that they will do anything to escape the consequences both legal and social, and that means refusing to admit their fault to others.
