    Hey Dan, was just wondering how the solving process would go if we were given Vo and were tasked with finding the distance to the basket (x) and theta?

      Hi, it's basically the same idea. First you'd split Vo into x and y components (it wouldn't be a numerical answer but in terms of theta). Then you'd start with y-axis kinematics, solve for time, and then use the x-axis equation.
      However, I'm not sure if it's possible to solve if both theta and distance are unknown.

      Yep! My hint is that the maximum height is when the peak velocity (vf) is zero.
