    great tip on the gauze that ER doctor/surgeons prefer. this always seem like a big disconnect in EMS to ER. as a guy on the street I want to do things that make it easy for the ER staff. we are one big team.

    Wrapping isn’t tactcool enough, put a green wrapper on it like the combat gauze and MEALteam 1 operators will buy more of them.

    Looks like a good addition to my kit. I just put a couple in my shopping cart.

    I don`t know why but your intro always reminds me of that old "hey, welcome to chili`s" meme xD maybe it`s because you look like the kid a tiny bit. Also great product, it`s really handy that it doesn`t fuzz as much as normal gauze, less digging around in the wound afterwards.

    Ive beein looking for several months for some NON-WOVEN, non-adherent, non-linting, non-falling apart wound filler/gauze/pad to replace celox in less severe circumstances or in lieu of hemostatic. So... is it IT? =)))

      You probably found out by now, but just in case: Combat Guaze has the X-Ray strip and Hemostatic agent.

    You said the new Quikclot Combat Gauze. What is new about it? Did they change anything with it?

    • @SkinnyMedic
      @SkinnyMedic  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    the nar gauze is also good if it still is vacuum sealed, I guess.

    I like handh gauze but it can get pricey when I can buy bulk guaze cheaper "even if it pisses off er workers" from Amazon

      These are $2 a piece. Stop being cheap, and buy what is superior.

    *So it's just like the regular H&H flat compressed gauze, just with a new name to sound more tacticool?*

      The gauze is made different

      It also doesn't have an expiration date.

      No comparison, it feels thicker than the usual H&H or NAR Z-folded gauze and and tears easily. No need to look for scissors.
