CN has the entire Zaslav stuff removing and writing off shows. Nick's most infamous recent misstep that isn't a reboot of any of their shows would probably be shelving and deplatforming Star Trek Prodigy, despite claiming to be "the designated Trek place" the same way Disney became a Star Wars place. (Also, Rise of the TMNT probably wasn't helped by its release being shortly after 2012 Turtles and now this year's release of Mutant Mayhem, plus Nick's avoidance of any of the Turtle versions they own. And I just remembered their dropping of Phoebe and her Unicorn, but that's another type of issue.)

Nostalgia plays a part, but the big reason was definitely overexposure. It was hard to ignore TTG when CN was promoting and airing it on TV constantly. Personally, seeing their other more favored shows getting pushed aside to make more room for TTG + episodes that called out the haters fueled that fire even more.

A lot of people are just drawn to "slice of life" shows that just focus on drama and "relatability". They're less incline to be invested in a show that's more action-oriented. Or a show that at least has other things going on with it than just "hey, I have relatives like you". At least TTGO was more of a comedic spin on Teen Titans and the DC Universe.
Avatar was a sheer fluke of 2000's Nick, if you look back its production history Nick tried offing in during its original run. Not to mention, nobody involved with that production went on to make anything half as good again...
I do believe that people have every right to say that Disney and Cartoon Network is dying, because it quite literally is, but after I saw all of these spin offs and everything else with Spongebob, especially considering that the creator DID NOT want that, and TLH poisoning Nick later on, I simply could not ignore it, and just stopped watching cartoons all together except for something that Adult Swim is cooking up. It really sucks man. It got to the point where I myself wanted to start making videos about my opinions with Nick and all these other things, but that is just simply what I don’t wanna do, as I am more focused on my web-series and animation, and all it will be is a rant, and my opinion. I myself vowed to never watch this show, cause I knew this show was going to turn out bad and I was right. After Invader Zim was canceled for mindless slug spit, I vowed to hate nick until they gave it another chance and made all the unfinished episodes. That show meant a lot to me when I was depressed, it made me happy after a bad day. Every time I see loud house it makes me wanna do my own dental work. The worst thing about this show is, it's too real, they don't have any villains, villains have always made cartoons better. Since the Nicktoons were made, EVERYONE of them has had one arch enemy, Zim had some of the bests. I only watch three shows, four counting the Thanksgiving Day Parade and that's it: The Simpsons, Robot Chicken and Rick & Morty, cause stuff happens in those shows like it has villains and people die. Loud House was doomed since day one and I'm glad it was.

It’s insane to think about how this video is just my genuine opinion on Nick and CN for years. Like, CN has REALLY gone down hill as much as Nick has, and there’s nothing really saving either one at this point. Disney on the other hand… I mean even though XD is “saving” Disney, I think XD is… better than either one of the two imo. When they see a show flopping, they just stop after two seasons, and when they do re-runs of it, they don’t do it as much as the ones that actually make them money, like Star V. The forces of evil or Phineas and Ferb (Phineas and Ferb are getting a reboot soon in 2025, so let’s see how well it goes.). I will be honest though, I left Nick and CN after 2016-17, because everything just came to shit, no matter what I see, even from ToonNick and TeenNick, it’s just gone downhill since I was growing up (I wanna say 2012-14.), so there’s realistically no redemption for either of those channels. Disney is really killing it because they know what they’re doing for the most part.

Yeah, the show was fine at the beginning but the later seasons are crap! I have written Lincoln for my Nicktoons comics for a while, and don’t ask why but I wrote him similarly to both Zim and Timmy, A chill person but has mentions of war crimes and seems clueless 90% of the time. I don’t want to write the others as the show makes me cringe to my core, but Lincoln is the most bare-able to me, I feel they could’ve done so much more with the idea, I always thought it would be hilarious if Lincoln were trying to destroy his family for all of the show, similarly to Invader Zim, as I like villain characters the most usually.

As someone who used to love the show as a kid early in its run it’s just sickening to see what it’s become. I really hope that they cancel it either in this year or in 2025 cause if it makes it to 10 years on the air then it’s really gonna be trouble. Nick is just doing this just for money and to stay in business and the team currently working on it seriously doesn’t know what they’re doing with this anymore. The TTG problem was because people saw it as a "bastarized version of TT"
A lot of people are just drawn to "slice of life" shows that just focus on drama and "relatability".
They're less incline to be invested in a show that's more action-oriented. Or a show that at least has other things going on with it than just "hey, I have relatives like you".
At least TTGO was more of a comedic spin on Teen Titans and the DC Universe.
Avatar was a sheer fluke of 2000's Nick, if you look back its production history Nick tried offing in during its original run. Not to mention, nobody involved with that production went on to make anything half as good again...
I think this is the hardest a show has fallen off for me. First few seasons were fine but everything after is on varying levels of bad
I do believe that people have every right to say that Disney and Cartoon Network is dying, because it quite literally is, but after I saw all of these spin offs and everything else with Spongebob, especially considering that the creator DID NOT want that, and TLH poisoning Nick later on, I simply could not ignore it, and just stopped watching cartoons all together except for something that Adult Swim is cooking up. It really sucks man. It got to the point where I myself wanted to start making videos about my opinions with Nick and all these other things, but that is just simply what I don’t wanna do, as I am more focused on my web-series and animation, and all it will be is a rant, and my opinion. I don’t deem it as worth it. Overall it just sucks man. All the media I see is all kiddy kid kid and it makes me wanna puke. God bless all the people who made good cartoons cause I am sure they despise these companies and what they did to their creations, and they should.

I myself vowed to never watch this show, cause I knew this show was going to turn out bad and I was right.
After Invader Zim was canceled for mindless slug spit, I vowed to hate nick until they gave it another chance and made all the unfinished episodes.
That show meant a lot to me when I was depressed, it made me happy after a bad day.
Every time I see loud house it makes me wanna do my own dental work.
The worst thing about this show is, it's too real, they don't have any villains, villains have always made cartoons better.
Since the Nicktoons were made, EVERYONE of them has had one arch enemy, Zim had some of the bests.
I only watch three shows, four counting the Thanksgiving Day Parade and that's it: The Simpsons, Robot Chicken and Rick & Morty, cause stuff happens in those shows like it has villains and people die.
Loud House was doomed since day one and I'm glad it was.

In the 2000s they weren’t the same. They had less great shows. There Was SpongeBob, Jimmy neutron,Fairly odd parents and The penguins of Madagascar and that’s it. In the 90’s they had a lot of great shows.

That’s because Hollywood is full of sin like greed and corruption and propaganda mostly under neoliberalism and capitalism and it was always like that since it’s founding
I grew up in Germany so I don't know how Nick was in the US back then, but over here at least during the 2010s Nick started introducing more and more sitcom style shows, which pretty much took over the channel completely so that Spongebob and LoudHouse were the only cartoons but between dozens and dozens of unmemorabke sitcoms, due to which most people i know didnt even call it a cartoon channel anymore at this point
I wonder if perhaps a similar thing happened in other countries as well and it got less backlash for the lack of diversity in content because it had a bunch of not-cartoon shows that made the program look more packed?

It’s insane to think about how this video is just my genuine opinion on Nick and CN for years. Like, CN has REALLY gone down hill as much as Nick has, and there’s nothing really saving either one at this point. Disney on the other hand… I mean even though XD is “saving” Disney, I think XD is… better than either one of the two imo. When they see a show flopping, they just stop after two seasons, and when they do re-runs of it, they don’t do it as much as the ones that actually make them money, like Star V. The forces of evil or Phineas and Ferb (Phineas and Ferb are getting a reboot soon in 2025, so let’s see how well it goes.). I will be honest though, I left Nick and CN after 2016-17, because everything just came to shit, no matter what I see, even from ToonNick and TeenNick, it’s just gone downhill since I was growing up (I wanna say 2012-14.), so there’s realistically no redemption for either of those channels.
Disney is really killing it because they know what they’re doing for the most part.

Yeah, the show was fine at the beginning but the later seasons are crap! I have written Lincoln for my Nicktoons comics for a while, and don’t ask why but I wrote him similarly to both Zim and Timmy, A chill person but has mentions of war crimes and seems clueless 90% of the time. I don’t want to write the others as the show makes me cringe to my core, but Lincoln is the most bare-able to me, I feel they could’ve done so much more with the idea, I always thought it would be hilarious if Lincoln were trying to destroy his family for all of the show, similarly to Invader Zim, as I like villain characters the most usually.

As someone who used to love the show as a kid early in its run it’s just sickening to see what it’s become. I really hope that they cancel it either in this year or in 2025 cause if it makes it to 10 years on the air then it’s really gonna be trouble. Nick is just doing this just for money and to stay in business and the team currently working on it seriously doesn’t know what they’re doing with this anymore. Honestly I feel like binging some of the early seasons of the show and it’s glory days, not so much of reliving my childhood, but to see if I could relate to any of the experiences that the characters had in certain episodes or if there’s some things hidden in the episodes that I didn’t really understand as a kid but understand now as I’m older
