My 850.00 Raptor is going into Kimber tomorrow. Failed out of the box. Will not eject spent case (FTE). Tried everything, good clean and a new recoil spring. Jams every single magazine every single time. We'll see what happens after the repair.
Well Sir, go ahead and buy it. I own three Micro9s' and love em. Kimber could not get the gun to fail. Come to find out it was crappy Remington 115 grain ammo that I was using. They recommended 124 grain anything. My Raptor now runs fine with 124 grain ammo but still will not eject Remington 124 grain. Remington ammo is crap. But they highly recommend breaking it in with 124 grain. Winchester 124 9mm NATO is what i am currently using per their suggestion. Good luck and they are effin cool 9s'.
@U S A My Raptor 9 had other issues as well. Kimber eventually bought it back after it literally fell apart at the range. I also have a less expensive Micro9 that functions flawlessly. It is part of my EDC rotation. Not one issue with that baby. There is a lemon that gets by every now and then. Kimber CS was the absolute best.
I think i mest up on mine Its all black but i was removing the paint to make it better but it wont slide all the way bk n when it does it gets stuck n i gotta hit it from the bk to make the slide come off
Mine in .380 went twice back to Kimber. FTF, FTE, stove pipes, all sorts of failures; very disappointed. Customer Service was wonderful, but the weapons themselves were unreliable. My Kimber .45s are all dependable. Stick to a Sig P938 or a Walther CCP M2. I would not trust my CCW defense to these small Kimbers. So sorry to say for such eloquent weapons. I will be watching reviews of the new EVO line, but not be a first-purchaser, due to my experience and what I know of others with the now-defunct Solo.

Bought mine three weeks ago, took it to the range and the trigger pin started walking out on me while I was shooting It.. 👎

Dang...that sucks. My Raptor micro 9 built in Troy AL has performed flawlessly with different ammo.
