Realistically, hamon would decimate demons more then breathing styles would, mostly because hamon is used to kill UNDEAD creatures like zombies and vampires, it wouldn't be unrealistic for demons to be a part of it.
Also Hamon harnesses the power of the Sun, which the demons are vulnerable to.
Hamon is literally the equivalent of the most broken breathing in the verse.
The author of Demon Slayer took some inspiration from JoJo.

I just realized that when the Hashira Training arc of this fan series begins to emerge, Sanemi would either be terrified or extremely pissed the moment he’ll see Jotaro

Hamon would be *unbelievably* overpowered in the demon slayer world. Demons turn to dust basically the moment the suns light touches them and hamon is essentially that, but concentrated into an attack. None of the upper moons or even muzan would be able to survive a sunlight yellow overdrive from someone like Jonathan
