  • With the new Judy Garland (1922-1969) movie coming out, I am listening to the later Judy Garland more. Here is the last public performance of Over The Rainbow. Judy sang this at a Denmark concert on March 25, 1969, and she died on June 22, 1969.

It's sad to me that the generation of adults who watched this happen, are the same ones who criticize Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, and more. Hollywood destroys children, and spits them out. When does this end?

This version of the song sounds like the ending of a story. Sad how the song that made her iconic, would be the last song she would ever perform....

Hollywood destroyed her before she even got out of her teens. A life walking the line of beauty and darkness. We are lucky we have these memories of her. Here’s to you Judy, hope you found the other side of that rainbow.

    Hollywood greed killed her

What Hollywood executives and parents do to these child stars is abominable. Kids like Judy Garland, Drew Barrymore, Mickey Rooney and a host of others lives ruined by drugs and alcohol just to make them stars. These executives and the kids parents should have been in prison for what they did to vulnerable children.

The genius of this song is that it was perfect for Judy Garland when she was 17 and when she was at the end of her life. It's an affirmation of life and a condemnation of it at the same time.

You can really hear the pain in her voice and how much she’s trying to not let it show 🥺

It’s amazing even though Judy’s voice clearly changed over the years, she never lost the ability sing.

I just arrived from the movie theater from watching "Judy"; I cried a lot because of the last scene. Poor Judy, she deserved better

Its hard to believe that Judy Garland was only 47 when she died. She had such a hard life. She seemed so much older to me

I think Renee did a great job being Judy & she did her own singing too, it was amazing. Though just to look at Renee as she is it's hard to imagine her in the role but she DID it & won the Oscar.
