the reason your auras are so big is because nightmare nerfs aura range...so since youre on easy, theyre massively "increased" in size although technically they were always that size its just nightmare decreases them
01:20 - EV beam HP is more for the EV physical walls and it's technically the best sacling stat I think... tho all stats on EV don't scale well after they hit 2k. It's mostly Damage you want to go for... more damage is simply just more damage. Rate and Range simply don't scale very well. 24:41 - Who's complaining? Let them! I have the map open almost all the time! It's super helpful! GGs Pat and well played. Now imagine doing that whole thing without Dying on Nightmare Hardcore :3 It really is just the beginning. You haven't experianced ANY of the content the Community Dev Team added over the past decade ^^
If you plan to keep playing to get to lvl 100 its really easy to do dread dungeon NMHC survival and you get 60mil every time. You should be able to get to level 100 in no time
Now that you have beaten the Old One, I would say, try and look at costumes for the squire, since there may be more to the game then you realize, even now.
i would say that auras can have good dps. but they are very important late game for support since they allow for constant damage, element stripping, and slowing all enemys. I put most of my points into aura range.
29:05 theres a few, but idk about optimal, as the introduction of the hermit and its golems have kinda made ogres irrelevant, but the difference is ogres cost MU while golems cost DU, so they can still work, and basically their use is to form a fat fucking wall to completely cock block and tank a boss, most notably in infested ruins against the wasp queen, spook bay against the barb and the pumpkin snowmen, wintermire against those bosses, etc, but yeah, again, not as useful as it may have been in the past, also all of these things are way way way later game than where you're at now xD
Tavern Incursion still uses Ogres as regular set up. And you place em on big maps like cr3 too most of the time to buy time in some instances bc ogre aggro can be unreliable on huge maps with limited LT coverage. But not much besides that, no.

you can tell a tower is affected by the buffbeam if it has tiny red light effects "going inward" towards the tower ( look closely).
